Carved into the mountains arching around Trelis, the rider's weyr vary on size depending on the rank of their dragon. Gold riders have weyrs that are larger of course than white riders for instance. They have a communal bath with warm water for most wingriders, and individual baths for the gold, and bronze riders. There is also a cave outside where the dragons sleep on their own bed. A ledge looks over either the West or East side of Trelis. This simply depends on which side the rider's weyr is placed.

The training grounds are wherever the weyrlingmaster wishes to teach technically. However, there is also a space where the younger weyrlings can be fed and where they can gather for more classroom style lessons. It's a clearing outside connecting to a room on the lower level of the Weyr.

The Weyrling Barracks are lower than the Riders, but still above the candidate and handler barracks. They are like the rider's weyrs in that they have a communal bath, and have caves and ledges. However, they will house multiple weyrlings in one barrack. For instance four smaller dragons can fit in one barrack, or two smaller and one that is larger like a bronze for example. As always though, golds get their own weyrs straight after impression, this helps to keep them a bit seperated from the rest of the group.

Located around the same floor as the lower caverns and candidate barracks, the dining hall and kitchens are perhaps one of the most visited places. There is always some sort of food put out for weyrfolk to come by and grab, and the wonderful aromas fill the area surrounding the dining halls. Long, dark wood benches stand in rows among rows in the dining hall. During dinner especially, these are filled with riders and handlers, weyrlings and wherlings, candidates and normal weyrfolk all discussing the day's events. There are also windows that let in light during the day, they look out onto the weyr bowl.
