Chahaturth crooned quietly as she gazed over the herdbeasts, she was having some trouble deciding on which one would be her first victim. Normally she would have stayed further away from them, but she was feeling mischievous today. So needless to say all the herdbeasts have gathered in a giant mass as far away from her as they possibly could. She crooned to them, and watched them shiver with fear. Oh yes, she was feeling quiet devious for some reason…maybe there was something in the water that was doing something to her.
Chahaturth shook the thoughts off, and started to pace slowly back and forth in front of the beasts. She was thoroughly working them into quite a panic. She rumbled loudly with laughter, and wondered if she could have this much fun every time she got hungry, but then, wouldn’t the beasts learn how to avoid her? She would have to make sure to switch up what she did for each time she fed. That way she would always be able to find amusement. Especially when Hers was being especially boring.

Yufa was off in the infirmary again today. She had been going more and more often, usually whenever she had a real chunk of free time. Braymoth sighed, not understand why Yufa wanted to fix injuries instead of causing them. He supposed he would never understand her silly mind. His stomach rumbled and he stretched, feeling much too lazy to go eat, but he figured he had to in order to stop the annoying gurgles. Spreading his wings lazily, he took off and headed for the feeding grounds.
Spiralling far above, it was easy to spot Chahaturth terrorizing the dumb animals and Braymoth rumbled in amusement. Well, as amusing as it was to see the topaz's vicious side, he had a belly to fill. Of course, that wouldn't stop him from having his own fun. With a primal screech, he tucked his wings and dove for a particularly large beast. He didn't scoop the best up though, instead he simply slowed his descent enough to land and pin the beast to the ground without killing it; dead would be no fun.
Rumbling in excitement and hunger, he began slowly rupping chunks off the herdbeast revelling in the blood and screams of pain from his prey. Oh yes, this was fun. He paused in his torture only long enough to give Chahaturth a glance and simple greeting. Ahh the screams of agony... music to my ears.

Chahaturth looked up at the sky quickly when she heard something screech. She watched, amused, as her garnet brother dove at one of the beasts she had been terrorizing. She rumbled with amusement when he glanced, and greeted her. Oh really brother dear? Isn’t playing with them, and working them up more fun though? Her sweet, silver voice was a purr as she spoke to Braymoth. There was just something about him that seemed to bring out her more…playful…side. After speaking though, she leapt into the air.
After the beasts had scattered she tucked her wings, and singled out one of them to be her victim. She extended her claws and crooned when she felt them connect with the beast’s body. She shook out her wings before tucking them against her side once again so she could eat. She was attempting to eat neatly, you know…sorta queen like. But there was nothing she could do about the blood that dripped from her topaz jaws. She purred as she ate, and wondered what her brother had thought of her display.

Ah... how simple and sweet his sister was. She tried to be devious, he could see that, but in the end she wasn't quite the right type that he had hoped. Emotional terror was one thing, but would she be able to bring about physical terror? Was it simply his garnet blood that brought about his love of tearing his prey limb from limb as it squealed below him? Perhaps. It is fun enough, I suppose... He rumbled in amusement before raking a claw down the beast's side and eliciting a new scream of pain; the beast would pass out and die soon, there was little doubt that it was almost at its limit. Yes, fear was a beautiful, fun thing, but it was also so innocent. To him, Chahaturth's approach was more like a child trying to play with the grownups than anything else. Perhaps she would improve over time.
The topaz rose then and captured a meal of her own, and unsurprisingly she ate it delicately. Here I thought I would get to see my beautiful princess let out some primal fury. A shame, she is no different than the others... His voice held a mocking, though slightly teasing tone as he compared Chaha to the other sub-queens and queens. All they cared for was the 'proper' appearance. His golden sister, though a bit more devious, had the same habit as well. How amusing it would be to see one of them shed that expected behaviour and simply tear into their prey. Ah well, if he wanted a fun eating partner he would have to seek out his chaotic little green lady.

Chahaturth’s head spun quicker than a top when she heard her brother say she was no different than the other queens and sub-queens. The hiss that could be heard coming from her jaws would have been bone chilling had there been any humans around. She had heard the tease in his voice, but she wouldn’t allow anyone to compare her to anyone else, especially that gold sister of hers! She might tolerate it when the adults do it, but to have her own sibling say it in her presence was just unacceptable in any occasion!
NEVER COMPARE ME TO THE OTHERS AGAIN! The warning in Chahaturth’s voice was loud and clear as she spoke to her garnet brother. But there was nothing in her that could stay mad at Braymoth, and with the little interaction she has had with her other siblings, it would be obvious to say that he really was her favorite. She sighed and crooned to him sweetly before finishing off her current victim. She knew she looked clean and dainty most of the time, but that was just the calm before the storm, and she would make sure everyone came to know that in due time.

Ooooh I found a sore spot did I? Braymoth crooned, not feeling particularly afraid of Chahaturth. if she ever made a move against him, well that would be another story, but for now she was all talk. He slithered close to her, a large hunk of his own herdbeast in his mouth, curious as to what would happen if he was within her attack range. You claim to be nothing like them, yet you sit pretty and dainty and act just like the princess you are supposed to be.
He held the chunk of meat out to her, revelling in the blood running down his jaws. Come, Chahaturth, prove to me you aren't just another pretty face. Rend into the flesh, revel in the blood. Show me why the others can't compare to you. His voice was a slithering croon in her mind, his steps almost hypnotic as he dangled the flesh near her. He liked the topaz, of course. He also liked Izanycorth, even if she seemed to prefer the company of others to himself. They both considered him an ally, and he felt the same of them. Yet, in the end they were both still a sub-queen and a queen. They lived in the shadows of their expectations and did what they needed to be loved by the humans. He cared not about following expectations, even if his nature had him living up at least a little bit to the other garnets. Oh well.
Don't be afraid to get a little dirty. Hurry, time's a-wasting, My Sub-Queen

Chahaturth shook herself, and ignored her brother’s words. Yes, she was acting like the princess she was supposed to be, but even that couldn’t halt the endless thoughts of treachery that ran through her mind when she knew she had it all to herself. She looked over curiously when she smelled the chunk of meat her brother was holding out to her. She purred at the slithering croon, and watched the meat like a feline before they pounced on their prey. Whether or not she really would pounce was another story, and most likely something her brother didn’t want to think about.
Chahaturth reached out, and delicately wrapped her jaws around the chunk of meat, carefully keeping her teeth from clamping on her brother’s jaws. What happened next would probably come as a surprise to the young garnet. She attempted to rip the meat from his mouth, a feral growl coming from her as she did so. Whether or not Braymoth let go of the meat, was up to him, if he didn’t then he really would get a front row seat to what she was about to do. She started ripping the meat apart, little pieces falling to the ground around her as she did so.

Intriguing. So Chahaturth was the type to stay silent when she was fighting a losing battle? He supposed that was more pleasant than dealing with a whiny, stubborn dragon. Well, all in all he approve; the silent trait was a royal one he was quite fond of. He watched her as intently as she watched the meat, wondering if she was thinking about how best to deal with the situation, or whether she just didn't want it.
He was disappointed when she carefully took hold of the meat, taking it as if it had been a gift instead of a test, and for a moment he wanted to rip it out of her mouth and stalk of. A moment later however, a feral growl escaped her and Braymoth was forced to clamp his jaws and dig his claws into the ground to stop himself from being thrown about like a herdbeats himself. He returned a feral growl of his own, though his was full of pleased approval. He held on as long as he could as she tore the haunch of meat into pieces, delighting in the way she managed to still look somewhat graceful doing it. He finally let the piece drop from his mouth to watch her rend the final few chunks.
Oooh the princess has a wild side, He purred as he wound about her, his tail trailing along her flank as he came around her other side. I must say, that was almost as pleasing as hearing the herdbeast scream. You might like it you know. That moment of absolute terror and pain. He grinned daconically. Imagine the power you hold. What dragon would risk their life against one as vicious and powerful as you? yes... he would have to build her ego, to ensure she wouldn't waffle if he ever had need of her strength. This... this was a good start.

Chahaturth gracefully licked away the blood and remaining meat from her jaws when she finished with the meat Braymoth had given her. She might be a sub-queen, or a princess as some would call her, but she had a violent side as well, though, she wasn’t exactly proud of the fact. She crooned and purred as her brother wound his way about her, and gently let her tail brush against his side as he came around to her other side. She listened quietly to wher her brother had to say, and chirped curiously when he spoke of the power she held. She knew she held power over those who ranked lower than herself, but what was he talking about?
What power are you talking about? Chahaturth’s voice was full of curiosity, and was a smooth purr that would caress her brothers mind sweetly. She stood a little straighter when he spoke of others risking their lives if they ever stood against her. So far though, the only one that she knew of that would ever stand in her way, was that green-gold sister of hers. She shook herself at the thought of Izanycorth. She would deal with that…inconvenience in due time, but for now she had other things to occupy her attention. She turned her swirling gaze on her garnet brother, and gave him a draconic grin. Oh yes, he most certainly was her favorite.
