Hatching Sands

The hatching sands is outside the actual wher hold, but still somewhat attached to it via the candidate barracks and Alpha Handler quarters. Much like the Hatching Sands at the Weyr, these sands have stands for viewing the eggs. They also have a nice expanse of sand for the candidates to stand on. The difference is that inside one part of the walls are a few shallow caves for the mothers to clutch and stay.
