No New Posts Alpha Handler's Quarters

This room is nearby both the records room and the hatching sands for the wherhold. It is spacious with not only a living area and cave, but also a bathing area and meeting area for any gatherings that the Alpha Handler may need.

No New Posts Wher Handler's Quarters

In the outer parts of the wherhold, the quarters for the wher handlers vary on wher size like the weyrs do. Larger whers such as bronzes will get slightly larger caves and rooms than a green or white. All the handlers share a very large bathing room. Only the Alpha and Beta handlers have their own bathing rooms. The Beta Handler's quarters is nearby the Alpha Handler's, but it isn't as nice as and is without a gathering area.

No New Posts Wherling Barracks

Closer to the inside of the wherhold, the wherling barracks are actually two incredibly large areas. It is on the inside of the hold so that it is far from sunlight since the individual wherets do not get caves to sleep in like when they're older. One room is for female handlers, the other for male handlers. They are not allowed to stay in each other's rooms, and instead can meet in another gathering room between the two. The wherets sleep in small beds next to their handler's bunk.

No New Posts Dining Halls and Kitchens

In the very middle of the hold is a room similar to the dining hall and kitchens in the Weyr. It has long wooden tables to sit at, and the smell of food wafts in from the kitchens. The room is lighted solely by glowlights though since natural light would hurt whers' eyes. Besides most handlers are awake at night, and even in the Weyr that normally calls for glows.

No New Posts Communal Baths

The Bathing Room is a long rectangular room nearby the dining hall. It is warmed by springs brought into the hold, and is often times filled with steam. The pool is carved out of the stone, and the walls have glowlights on them. Different types of sweetsands and soaps can be found in cabinets at one end of the room, along with towels and oils for bathing whers and wherets.

No New Posts Candidate Barracks

These barracks are right next to the hatching sands on the inside of the hold. They are much like the wherling barracks in that they are two large rooms broken off into smaller areas. One room is for males, the other is for females. The same rules apply here as do with the wherlings. To bathe, they must go to the bathing rooms, they do have a gathering area between the two rooms though.
