Naomi sighed softly as she held onto Korvin. Dancing with him was actually kind of soothing, which really surprised her actually. She had never thought that she would ever enjoy this man’s company, let alone dance with him. O mares? Her voice was soft, and almost sleepy as she spoke to him. She was about ready to come back with another slurred retort when she felt him kiss her. Her eyes widened, and it seemed as though someone had turned on a very, teeny, tiny light bulb within her head. That light bulb meant that she might be able to react appropriately…then again…it might not. What happened next would surely piss her off in the morning, but at the moment there was nothing she could do about it.
Naomi started to gently kiss him back. She was running on pure instinct, and something inside her had told her to do it. So she moved her arms so that they were gently wrapped around his head, and held him to her. Of course, if she were to ever found out about this, she probably would kill him. So it might be best to keep this just between them…and the who knows how many spectators that were at the dance in the first place. She broke off the kiss, and looked into his eyes. Something inside her was now telling her to run, and run as fast as she could, but she couldn’t move. She just hung there, staring at him. She probably looked like a fool too, but she wouldn’t know it.

Well shards and shells what was he supposed to do now?! In hindsight, he had expected her to throw a fit and storm off as best she could on a gimpy leg, or maybe even just glare at him and be too upset to say anything else... but this was far from what he had expected. Well that wasn't entirely true. In the morning, if he remembered things, he'd be able to say it was far from expected, but right now everything was just a confused haze. He could feel arms wrap around him, could feel the subtle strength int them as Naomi pulled him closer. His own grip around her tightened and the kiss deepened, but all too soon she had pulled away. A whine-like groan escaped him as the contact was broken off, and his eyes slit open to look at her in confusion. She stared at him. He stared back. There was no doubt they looked as idiotic as young teenagers; though really, their experience level was about the same. A blush spread across his cheeks, half due to the kiss and resulting heat, and half due to the alcohol running through his system. "We should... ah.. we...." He began, but how to phrase the question? He knew he was babbling and he averted his gaze in embarassment. His eyes glanced at the door before looking back at the huntress. "Som'where... uh.. private... y-yu an' I... I mean..." He gulped. What was he doing? She would never go along with him. She hated him! And he hated her! Why had he even kissed her in the first place and why had she kissed him and... and why did he want to do it again? Why did he want to do more? Ugh! He wasn't supposed to get close to people! He knew first hand what happened when you gave someone too much trust, when you got too close. They betrayed you. He looked away again and placed her down gently despite the shakiness of his drunken body. He cared... too much perhaps, but he couldn't deny that he cared. It was only because she saved him. That's what he kept telling himself, but he knew it wasn't entirely true. She challenged him in a way he wasn't used to and it drove him wild. "Ou'side..." He mumbled, his fingers touching his lips absentmindedly before he stepped away. "If y'want..." He wanted to continue, he wanted to feel her against him again... He wanted to go find a weyr and spend the night with her. Was it his true feelings talking or was it the alcohol? He stumbled out the door, too nervous to look behind and see if she was following him. {OOC: Naomi~ Follow if you want, or run away. Either way Korvin will have a reason to feel extraordinarily awkward around her (and likely vice versa), though for very different reasons )

Naomi smiled slowly when she saw Korvin blush. She would have never thought that was possible, but here he was, blushing. She wasn’t sure if it was because of what had happened between them, or the alcohol that he had consumed. But for some reason, this usually uncaring huntress thought it was quite cute, and felt like kissing each of his cheeks where it had turned red. She drunkenly raised an eyebrow when he started to speak. Well, at least she wasn’t the only one having speech problems. She tilted her head to the side a little when he looked away from her, and wondered what she had done.
Naomi blinked in confusion as she tried to figure out what Korvin was trying to say to her. She smiled once again as he set her down gently, thankful that he hadn’t just dropped her onto her bad foot. She nodded her head slowly as he spoke once more, and watched as he started to walk away. Well, more like stumbled away. She hobbled over to her crutches, and quickly picked them up. Once she had herself situated on her crutches, she hobbled after him. She wasn’t quite sure what was going to happen when, or if, she found him again.
Naomi looked around once she exited the dancing tent, and smiled when she saw him still walking…well…stumbling, off into the night. A! Eight up! She couldn’t help the slurring of her words, she was still drunk. She hobbled after him as quickly as she could. She wasn’t sure what would happen when she caught up to him, or when he finally got her to where they were going. But she definitely won’t like remembering it in the morning. Things might have been awkward between them before, but now…well…she wasn’t sure what things were going to be like.
(((OOC: I think this thread is good and finished...unless you want to continue from the point of the dogs XD )))
