Name: Raksha.
Pronunciation: Rahk-sha.
Age: 17 turns.
Season Born in: Fall.
Gender: Female.
Sexuality: Pansexual (perhaps?)
Appearance: Her chestnut brown hair irritates her. She prefers not to have to deal with the curls, for they are difficult to maintain. Her hair falls just past her chest, and she usually keeps her bangs clipped back, out of her eyes. She is quite fussy about appearances, so bathing is a daily must for her. Cleanliness is her way of life. The occasional blond strand can be seen throughout her hair, all of them being natural highlights. She considers her curls unruly, for she never knows which way they’re going to flip. What one person sees as pretty another sees as an uncanny annoyance, in this case, Raksha. Standing at a slightly taller than average 5’6”, at fifteen turns, she is not doing too badly for herself height-wise. Her brows are nicely cleaned-up, matching the darker shade of her hair. Her lashes are naturally a thick black, not at all taking away from her green-blue eyes. If anything, her lashes accentuate them, drawing attention to their vibrant color. Her eyes have flecks of gray, but they’re only noticeable if one looks closely. Her eyes are almond shaped, and small; not that they don’t fit her face. She has a near constant flush, though her sensitivity to many situations could be the cause. For the most part her skin is pale, a milky pale. She is just naturally very pallid, though she’s capable of gaining a fair tan. Were she to give in to her more girly attributes she’d likely be found lying in the sun.
Her lips are full, a softer shade of pink. She complains that her forehead is high, privately to herself of course, but she doesn’t want to afford her bangs spilling into her eyes. Nor does she have the heart to get a new haircut in case it looks bad! She has a smaller chest, and is wondering if she’ll ever have much there to pride herself on. She is very lean, it being visible in the near sticks that are her arms and legs. She swims in just about all clothing, and yet she’s a tall girl. Her clothes are specially fitted to her body. She’s far too skinny to just fit into a small of something. It’s just her body-type, though people find it hard to believe. She eats heartily, and yet her metabolism is blindingly fast. She has an oval-shaped face, with a clear complexion, but don’t expect her to compliment herself!
Personality: It wouldn’t be fair to start off by calling her stubborn, but she is. Raksha likes to have things done her way, and tends to follow her way through regardless of consequences. It was only ever her parents whom held her back in this, and now that her mother is deceased and her father is not around? She does whatever she pleases within reason. She loves to go on adventures. Adventuring and exploring are a major part of what fills her days. Finding out all that she can in any way that she can is fun to her. Coming from a small mining hold, when one person discovered something everyone discovered that same something. In a Weyr there were so many more people, and each one of them likely had an underlying secret of some kind. It’s not that she was a gossip, but she loved to know everything and anything. She hated to be out of the loop. She kept her knowledge to herself, and possibly a best friend, but other than that she’s not the type to go spreading things around! Her curiosity gets the better of her. Curiosity really does kill the cat in her case. She tends to get caught red-handed when she’s in the middle of being a naughty child. She’s the type that would take the risk of sneaking a peek at any eggs on the sands, or take the chance of paying someone off to do her chores, so that she could have a free day to see all there was to see at Dalibor!
She’s very social, ready to talk to anyone and everyone, especially the dragonriders. She loves to hear stories about the impossible. The idea of other planets where everything is so much different is exhilarating to her. She spends a lot of time coming up with plans to get to these other planets so she can see them for herself! She is a good drawer, having found that out in her late turns taking lessons with the assigned journeyman harper. So now she draws everything she sees about the Weyr, tucking her drawings safely away inside her chest. She doesn’t mind others seeing them though! Then they can see Pern the way that she sees it. To be able to show others what she truly values, and what she’s had a chance to discover, makes her feel closer to them. She’s hoping to put her drawings to good use someday. Maybe to show the people on the other planets what Pern is like if they can’t come back and see it themselves? She doesn’t form attachments very easily, getting that from her father. He was a man of few words, and he seemed to not truly care about a single person except for her mother. He was friendly with people, social even, but he didn't invest next to anything in them. She grew to be much the same way. Only her childhood best friend had really meant something to her, quite a large something. The thought of him breaks her heart.
Raksha is a tomboy, but not a true blue one. There are two sides of her. Whom she is on the outside, and then whom she is on the inside. Her outer portrayal is most certainly a tomboy. She gets down and dirty just like any boy, and on occasion has made threats she knew she would have to follow through with. She's not a fighter, often glad to have someone else there to step up to her defense. Her tiny features are really an indication that she isn't all that strong physically. Mentally she's like a wall of bricks. If someone says something awful to hurt her feelings she will cry, storming off because she hates to cry in public. She often seeks comfort of a close, and only, friend. She spends a lot of time with one person, and one person alone, entrusting them with a lot. She gets along a lot better with boys than she does with girls. Likely because there is less drama with boys, and too they're more inclined to tell her to "suck it up." And yet she looks for the more sensitive boys... funny. Perhaps these boys are even potential crushes? One may never know until she's ready to reveal her true feelings. She does her best to roll with the punches, and take on the challenges that come her way.
Within she is quite a girl. She fusses over her appearance, worried about how others view her. She is picky about her clothes, not wanting to look bad, and yet not wanting to give away that she's putting a great deal of thought into what she puts on. She always wants to look as perfect as is possible, because otherwise who will like her? She knows how shallow people can be. Some people won't even talk to those whom they don't find physically attractive. She wants to be an attractive girl. She wants to develop into a woman that looks to be well-matured. These things really matter to her, and weigh heavily on her mind. She does her best to hide it all. She's worried that in feeling the need to be tough, and in liking adventures, and acting as if she doesn't mind getting filthy in the dirt? The boys will be more accepting of her, she can hang around them with no problems. And even though she is secretly going "gross" sometimes when she does get dirt or mud on her? She really does love her adventures and being one of the guys! Its just... her. That's where the problem comes in, she's worried about whether or not her true self is the self that people really want to see.

Sharra - Deceased {Mother}

Wing/Pack: N/A,
History: Raksha was born to Raknom and Sharra, two young aspiring people. The girl was raised in a mining hold, where her father was the Wher Handler of brown Rask. Raksha’s father took a lot of pride in his wher, treating him better than his own family. He assured them time and time again that the wher was what was keeping them living in their home and with food on the table. Sharra couldn’t fight her husband when it came to his work, understanding that he made time for them where he could. Raksha wasn’t as satisfied as her mother when it came to such things. She was a restless girl who wasn’t just fine sitting at home, and so her mother put her to work-gave her things to do. She wanted her daughter to have a good education, so she placed her in classes with the hold’s Journeyman harper so that she could have said education. Her favourite chore to be assigned was staying up at the drum tower to take down messages. She usually always had one other up there with her to make the work bearable, and sometimes they were just silent, letting their thoughts backtrack over the day’s events. It was one friend in particular that she enjoyed working with best. Everyone teased her for being around him so much, since he wasn’t the most popular boy. No, rather, he was made fun of quite a fair bit. He was a good singer, but his voice was softer, giving others more ample reason to tease poor Noehlen. She thought Noehlen’s voice was fantastic, even if it would eventually break and become something different than what it was. The boy sang with such passion that it made her wish she was a better singer herself.
Her friend was a turn younger than she, and even though he was ambitious she could see he had some maturing to do. They both did. Her father had plans for her, and his father had plans for him. He didn’t want him to be a harper, but rather a miner. And her father didn’t want her to be a miner, but rather a harper. She supposed, if her father wanted her to be a harper so badly, that she could be a drummer? Didn’t you have to have more skills than that to be apprenticed though? She thought so, but she’d do her best to get apprenticed all the same. Maybe she’d even go on to be placed at the Harper Hall? No... To her that was a thrilling but unwanted future occurrence. She liked it here at the hold, not that it was as exciting as a Weyr. Plus her hold was a minor hold, not a major one. Her parents weren’t even the holders, though she did respect Holder Denfrose. Denfrose was fair and best known for the way in which he handled matters. He valued her father for being the hold’s handler. He knew it wasn’t always an easy task; he had to be up mostly at night to take care of the wher and yet up during the day to aid the other miners. It was a tedious job that required true dedication.
Raksha didn’t understand how anyone could choose work over family, but like her father had said, without his work he wouldn’t be able to provide for his family. Such an explanation made sense, even to a young girl. Noehlen was lucky. He was able to spend time with his father at the mines. Whereas whenever she suggested such a thing to her father, he asked her what she had to gain by bringing up such nonsense. He never failed to remind her that a woman’s job differed from a man’s, and that was just the way it was. Raksha, being the tomboy she was, didn’t accept that answer. She listened to her father because her mother urged her to, saying she wouldn’t profit at all if she tried to make a path for herself on her own. She was afraid that her mother was right, that she needed their help. Closer to her mother than her father-longing to be a daddy’s girl-Raksha never got the attention from her father that she so desired. Her father at least talked to her, even if it was only to say a quick “hello” or “good-bye” and then bid her away to do something constructive. It was better than nothing, she knew. And then the unthinkable happened, and Raksha felt that things would never be the same again.
Her mother was pregnant with another child, though she went through a strenuous labour with her. Raknom became concerned, noticing that Sharra got weaker and weaker as time went on. The child came prematurely, and Sharra was far from ready. Both she and the child were lost, and Raknom was left with his daughter of thirteen turns. She wanted only to help her father in the mines all the more, but he tried to tell her that her place was taking care of their home now. She hated it, more than anything. She would’ve even preferred trying to pretend like her voice was any good. Even embarrassment in front of the hold’s other children wasn’t half as bad as being made to stay home and play house wife. She overheard the other miners discussing how Holder Denfrose wished for Raknom to pick a successor of sorts. To choose a few he thought may be eligible to raise a young wher. It was Raknom’s daughter that Denfrose really had in mind. He wanted to see if the man would figure it out for himself! He didn’t mention her though, not even once, and so Denfrose was bold enough to mention her himself! At first Raknom was outraged, then he feigned shock. Finally he respected the Holder after some time, and approached his daughter concerning the matter. It was not a definite that she would be chosen, yet she would be among those whom stood.
She accepted, immediately, thinking that she could never have a better offer, or opportunity, to help her father in the mines. If she had a wher of her own, she’d be guaranteed access to the mines. She may even work along with Raknom and Rask! She had a chance, after all, what with her knowledge of whers as was. She’d just have to be better, better than the other candidates. She was taught what her father knew, though she didn’t feel that in his teaching her they really became any closer... It’s like she was losing him. After her mother’s death, he’d never been the same. She had managed to move on quickly, and at times she wondered why. Why had it been so easy for her? Maybe she had had time to prepare, seeing her mother weaken and worsen over the months of her pregnancy. But it’s not like it was easy, she missed her gravely...
It was coming up to the time when the candidates would stand for the wher egg the hold had been gifted. Then another unexpected thing happened, and this thing was not something to be sad over, but rather joyous. A dragon, on search, a couple actually, came to the mining hold. They were young; their rider’s seemed to be young as well. Nevertheless, they were able to do their job efficiently. She was far too curious to stay away, even though her father warned her not to bother them. He made a snipe about boys being of better use, and that was all he needed to say to make her all the more sure she would see them! When she appeared amongst a group of holds men and their sons, it was a green that spotted her out. Raksha had bowed respectfully, and continually spoke to the green's rider of how it was such an honour to be considered! Oh, to live at a Weyr! To be at a Weyr! It was like a dream! She had to tell her father, she had to go! She would miss him, yes, though she felt as if he didn’t really need her here. He pushed her away, acted as if she was a nuisance to him. Surely he’d feel more pride in knowing that his only child was a respected dragonrider! She brought the matter to him immediately, worried that the dragonriders would leave without her. She didn't want to have to leave behind her best friend, but what else was she going to do? This was her future, and he hadn't been Searched.
Her father’s first reaction was to gaze upon her with the same shocked face he’d had when Holder Denfrose had suggested she be a wher handler. It was then that she realized her father didn’t really know her at all. All he wanted from her was the plans that he had conspired for her. He’d never once asked her what she truly desired. She packed up her things to go when her father was seeing to his wher. The person to keep her from making it back to the Search dragons was not the person that she had expected. Noehlen threatened to call for her father; for she hadn’t made it far from her home by the time he’d intercepted her. He looked hurt, not having believed her when she said that she was going to go. He made it personal, asking her how she could do that to him. Though Raksha knew they were best friend’s, and had always been, it wasn’t until the boy blurted out that he had feelings for her that she’d really given that much thought. She didn’t say anything, because she wasn’t sure what she felt. He was her best friend—wasn’t that enough?
She turned back home, telling him not to speak to her. It was a couple days time until she was to stand for the wher egg. Her father never heard of her planned escape, and she kept inside the house, not pestering anyone to get into the mines. She didn’t clean, or do anything that her father asked her, she simply spent her time frustrated and sulking. Her mind was working overtime, coming up with ideas to get back at everyone, and make them see that they couldn’t force her hand! She’d do whatever she wanted to do, and that was that. This was her life, no matter if she was fifteen or no.
When it came time for her to show up for the big day she was nowhere in sight. She hadn’t even been home that night, and Raknom had simply suspected his daughter had stayed over at a friend’s in all of the excitement. Turns out she’d slept in the shed with her father’s wher, and planned to stay in there for as long as she could before her snacks ran out. Or her father came to care for his beast-though that wouldn't be until later that night, and by then the hatching would already be over. When she emerged from the shed later that night, she entered her home to find her father seated at the table, hands together. He looked worn out, and at a loss for what to do. Worried that it had to do with her she tried to sneak around him, but failed, for he’d known the moment she came in the door. He called to her calmly, and she knew she was really in for it, maybe even worse than she ever had been before.
He asked where she’d been, and she said she accidentally fell asleep with Rask. To which he outright called her a liar, and told her that unlike she Noehlen had been there, just as his father had requested him to be. It was her turn to look shocked; Noehlen had never told her that he was standing for the wher egg too. Was that one of the reasons why he didn’t want her to go? He’d been talking about it ever since he found out she got to stand, saying that she was so good with Rask that there was no way the wher wouldn’t choose her. Hadn’t he wanted to stand himself?
”Noehlesk is his. He’s a fine wher, a blue. The boy has done all of us proud, especially his father. Now there’s no way that Lenehr can keep him from the mines. Not that he had a mind too anyhow, no.” Her father shook his head back and forth, still talking in a calm tone. Not once had his voice rose in anger, like it usually did. He hadn’t even pounded his fist on the table yet. Raksha watched him in silence, wondering what in the world he was going to do to her...
He explained to her that she was too much for him to handle, that were her mother here she’d be heavily disappointed, and feel the same way. Raksha, trying to maintain her composure, could not believe what she was hearing when he explained to her that she’d be sent to a mining village to reside with her uncle for a time, until she learned respect and manners.
It didn’t take long for her father to make good on his word. She was sent off to her uncle, the request having been put out for a dragonrider to take her. The request was answered shortly, and she was upon a blue, heading for somewhere she’d never been before. Somehow she wasn’t scared though, if anything she was excited, though she’d miss her father. He was the one doing this to her, he was the one to blame for losing her, and for this she couldn’t forgive him. She was happy that she hadn’t showed up, because Noehlen and his blue wher were quite the pair to behold. The boy treated his new companion with such loving care that she suddenly found herself remembering all the days they’d spent together growing up, and how the boy had always been there for her even when she didn’t expect him to be. She’d miss him, far more than Raknom, far more than anybody.
Once having arrived at the village, her uncle demanded that she get herself settled. He told her to do all the exploring she wanted about the village, knowing how kids loved to investigate. She found him to be quite the likeable character, deciding upon his likeable nature most immediately. He was far more easy-going than her father, and spoke to her as if her opinion actually mattered. He was respectable, and therefore giving her respect in turn to him was easy. Her uncle Oasirem even let her help him with work in the mines. It was like a dream come true, really. Only difference was that there was no Noehlen...
Her uncle was single, and she could tell that he was lonely, even if he denied it when she outright asked. He seemed amused by her, and enjoyed her company. She found herself wishing he’d had a child of his own, suspecting that he’d make a great father. Were it not such a blasphemous thought she would’ve found herself wishing more often that he was her father.
When the Search dragons came, from Trelis, she rushed out to greet them like before. Her interest in the Weyr’s had far from faded, if anything she talked to Oasirem about it all. Again she was Searched, and yet this time she found herself hesitant. She didn’t know where her heading off to Trelis Weyr would leave her uncle. When she approached him that afternoon at their small but modest home, she found herself standing before him unable to say what she wished to say. He merely nodded, his hands folded beneath his chin as he regarded the young girl before him. Somehow he’d already known, and it made it easier for her to not have to quite tell him that she wanted to go. He already knew that too, somehow. Amazing man that he was. She found herself apologizing, many a time, and professing that if he wanted her to she’d stay. Rather than say anything he had her sit down, and he studied her for a moment longer before finally speaking...
”I had a daughter once, much like you, though a bit younger. Thirteen, she was, before the incident.” He cleared his throat, trying not to let her see the emotion he was wrought with. ”Either way, I knew she was beyond this way of life. I knew that she was meant for something more. She’d been Searched too, you see, but she was all I had and... Well, your cousin should’ve been a dragonrider. She would’ve made a darn good one, that, my little girl... My Sireiya.” He paused and she kept silent, just staring at him hopelessly. ”You must go, in her place you must go. Please take hold of such a gift, Raksha, and yet don’t forget that you’ve got miner’s blood, hm?” He broke out into a grin before clapping her on the shoulder good-humouredly. ”Oh, and before you leave... Its good-timing, really, perfect timing. I meant to give it to you, you see.” She was puzzled as to what he was referring to, and went to ask him, but he motioned her to another room of the house instead. There, near the hearth, was a pot. Inside the pot was some sand. And surrounded by sand was an egg.
”Hatches tomorrow I'm willing to bet!” he announced, his grin even broader than it was just before. ”It’ll benefit you more than it will me. I’m busy half the time and I’m sure something to keep you company if you get lonely would be... nice.” She couldn’t believe what he was giving her. She could really have the flitt egg? But...
”What about you?” she found herself asking, looking concerned. ”You’re lonely...” she trailed off, not afraid to be honest with her uncle. He merely stood to his full height and scratched at the stubble on his face.
”No child, I’ll be fine.” She didn’t believe him, but she didn’t want to be rude at the same time. She accepted his offer and eagerly dragged over blankets beside where the pot lay, not wanting to let the egg out of her sight! Not until whatever was inside hatched, least ways.
Raksha awoke to the pot tipping over, the sand spilling out around her make-shift bed. She blinked her eyes, the cup of steaming Klah set by her bedside not going amiss. Her attention was not drawn to the Klah, however, it was drawn to the small brown form that was trying to shake the gooey substance from its hide. The flitt was so tiny, tinier than she’d thought it would be. Was something wrong with it? She looked around frantically, remembering that she hadn’t prepared anything for the flitt to eat! Then something further from the mug of Klah caught her eye, a bowl. She sat up quickly and snatched it, cut pieces of fresh meat inside. She silently thanked her uncle, and watched in wonder as the flitt crawled into her lap, screaming its head off in demand for the food she possessed. She fed him, not at all wanting to deny the frail-looking creature. His hide was a chestnut brown, not quite as dark as some, she was sure. It had black markings around its eyes, maw, and tail.
”Rask, I already knew you’d be Rask. After father’s wher.” The flitt didn’t seem to be focusing too much on what she said, too busy stuffing its face. She scolded Rask when he tried to bite off more than he could chew. The last thing she needed was for him to choke. He’d sleep well on a full stomach!
Once he was done eating he curled up in her lap and did just that. Her uncle came in shortly after, finding her staring down at the flitt, stroking its hide happily. ”Would you look at that, you’ve got yourself a real tiny little bugger.” He chuckled, patting her on the back in a congratulatory manner. ”Your ride to Trelis will be here soon. Probably best you pack what you have. Take as little as possible, you won’t need too much, you know. I don’t think they really encourage bringing a whole lot anyways. Anything you want kept safe, or stored, can stay here. Not a problem.” Raksha thanked him, smiling sweetly. She didn’t want to disturb her flitt, but she didn’t have much choice. She lifted him carefully, making a nest of sorts out of her blanket for him. He seemed comfortable with the provision of blankets, and was quick to fall back into a deep sleep. The new Candidate packed quickly, following her uncle’s instructions to take as little as possible. Before she knew it a bluerider had come for her, and it was time to say her good-byes. She gave her uncle a tight hug, not letting go for a time. It was he who pulled back, and ruffled her hair, telling her that she’d be just fine, and that when Rask was old enough she could write to him to let him know how she was doing. She heartily agreed, wrapping her flitt in her long shirt to attempt to safeguard him from the cold of /between./ She handed her uncle something that had been in the grasp of her left hand. He unfolded the drawings, regarding them with wide eyes. It was a picture of him, and then another of the inside of the mines, with people her uncle knew well, hard at work. He thanked her, more than once, for the beautiful gifts, and kissed her on the top of the head as a final farewell.
The bluerider was not but a speck in the sky, and Raksha found herself waving to her uncle even still, in hopes that he could see her right up until the point when the dragon /betweened/ to Trelis Weyr. She clutched at her flitt, silently encouraging him to keep still. Once at Trelis all would be well! They had so much to explore, after all!
-Stood for the next hatching and impressed white Kyrenth
-Recently graduated
-Felt apart from others because Kyrenth doesn't have the same purpose
Other stuff you want to tell us: Like any kid her age, Raksha is just trying to find herself. She hasn't given much thought to relationships, far too focused on what her future could become. What she could spend the rest of her life doing, and where. Another thing she's never really come up against? Guys or girls. She's never given gender much thought, or rather her own sexuality.
Her life is really opening up for the first-time. The friends she makes now are going to be vital to whom she becomes later on in life.
Craft: Harpering.
Ranking: Apprentice.
Strengths: She doesn't consider herself to be much good at anything save drumming. She's a rather good drummer. She was in the craft during the time she was at home, otherwise she simply continued with her passion of art.
Weaknesses: Singing. She thinks herself to have no vocal talent whatsoever, nor does she consider herself to have any talent in instrument-making. All in all, she wanted to be a miner, and her father forced her into harpering instead. Therefore, her heart wasn't in it.
Dragon
Name: Kyrenth.
Pronunciation: Ky-renth.
Age: 2 turns.
Type: Dragon.
Rank: White.
Size: 15 feet.
Appearance: The white is just that: White. Being one of the smallest dragons in the Weyr, if not the smallest, Kyrenth can fit into places others cannot. He’s lean, and fit. The only exercise the white has to do is exploring or journeying with his rider. His hide, in Rukbat’s rays, shimmer’s a mesh of rainbow colors that has Raksha wanting to pull out her sketchpad to draw. When Raksha is drawing is the only time that he can ever relax his body, otherwise he’s always on the go. He’s got sharp reflexes, and tends to move in a feline-like manner. Kyrenth is graceful, for what he affiliates himself with as male. His multi-faceted eyes are always whirring a light blue, though other shades of blue intermingle, and mesh together. Like his hide, Raksha notes that his eyes are colorful!
Personality: Kyrenth is nothing if not energetic. He has just as much energy as Raksha, and then some. He’s always on the go, usually never fine with just lounging around with nothing fun or intriguing to do. He makes his own fun, and then drags his rider on into it. Oftentimes she’s doing the same, so really it’s a mutual effort! The white is beyond friendly, willing to talk to anyone, whilst having a love of flitt’s. He plays with them whenever he sees them, and talks to them as if they bear the same intelligence as his kin. It’s a known trait amongst whites. He realizes his smaller cousin’s evidently don’t understand on the same level, but he doesn’t treat them any differently, regardless. Kyrenth is a peacemaker, always the one to try and look at a situation with zero bias. He loves to play, and some of his antics remind Raksha of an overgrown feline. He paws at things, and tries to catch them, often finding himself spinning around, or tumbling. No matter what, he’s always happy. Even when he’s bored, he’s happy!
He doesn’t seem to be affected by the fact that he can’t perform in the same way the other dragons can. He’s no use for fighting Thread, or for carrying loads. He does always know where and when he is, however. It comes in handy when Raksha decides to go on her little adventures, with him. His talent is another trait of his kind. The pair often keep their escapades a secret, just between them. He loves to watch His draw! He finds drawing to be so fascinating, making humorous efforts himself by holding a utensil carefully in his maw. The fact that her white is so happy just being himself, and not self-conscious over the things he can’t do, gives Raksha a much needed sense of relief. Kyrenth truly understands His, and she knows that. In fact, Kyrenth understands a lot of things, about life in general, and about others. He loves to learn, and to discover. Discovery is important to him, and it’s important to Raksha too. One can never do enough exploring, or learning! Both dragon and rider like to know things. Yes they do! Sometimes they'll go through great lengths to find things out... Sneaky-times!
Mind-voice (If applicable):
Oh please can we go? Can we go, can we go? It'll be so exciting RakshaMine, so exciting!
Kyrenth has a very youthful voice, one that is always enthusiastic and full of energy. He rarely if ever sounds solemn, and when he is thinking one can hear it in his voice. Rather than his faster-paced speech, he'll speak much more slowly. Even when is speaking normally, he's clear and concise, very easy to understand.
Pet
Name: Rask.
Age: 2.5 turns.
Type: Firelizard.
Rank: Brown.
Size: Small.
Color Codes: {Work-in-progress.}
Personality/Appearance:
Named after her father, Raknom's, brown wher.
Rask is nothing if not curious! He always wants to explore, and winds up getting himself into so much trouble because he doesn't know how to be inconspicuous. He is terribly obvious with everything he does, hence why Raksha always tries to leave him behind rather than taking him on her adventures. She is often made to feel guilty because Rask has such a great puppy dog face, and as such she winds up bringing him along sometimes! Turns out she's always right about one thing, the flitt gives them away. Rask is very wary of those he doesn't know, but is overly affectionate with Raksha. She gets annoyed by the brown, and then winds-up feeling bad about it later. Rask doesn't know how to take a hint, or how to be obedient. Really Raksha doesn't consider him to be all that intelligent, but maybe the problem is that the flitt is far too intelligent for His to quite comprehend.
He is a dark, near chestnut brown. Much the same shade as her father's wher, ironically. He has an even deeper, near black, coloration around his eyes. Raccoon eyes, they could be described as. Then he has the same coloration around the end of his tail, just a single ring. His maw is dipped in this black-brown, his form rather much like a brown's should be with an even distribution of muscle.
