Talvi sighed and rolled over onto her side. She blinked her eyes open when she felt something warm and hard on the bed next to her. A curious expression crossed her face as she tried to think of what it was. She shook her head and sat up a little so that she was leaning on her arm. That's when she saw that it was a man laying in bed with her, and then all the memories came back. She smiled, and gently ran her fingertips along the A'vin's cheek. She shook her head, and wondered if it was fate that had brought the two of them together.

A'vin's eyes blinked open slowly, perhaps a bit awkwardly. Just one at a time. He smiled though and gently reached up a hand to catch hers. "Good morning my most beautiful Talvi," he said softly, his voice still husky with sleep. He sat up and gently touched her face before leaning in to kiss her gently and tenderly on the lips. "I hope you slept well, darling."
He felt ... giddy (perhaps that was the word? Happy?) even in his more tired mind to wake up beside Talvi. He had liked her from a distance and loved her in the quiet of his heart for some time. It had made his he art ache, though he hadn't felt he had earned the right to tell her of this yet. No... not yet. but, soon, he was sure. He loved her for who she was.
Vinerath lifted his head to look at his and seemed to swallow a yawn before gently crooning to his mate and nuzzling her cheek, tucking a large brown wing over her lovely green form and protectively encircling her with his body. He didn't say anything. Not yet, content to lay there curled up with the green on her couch, which was small for his bulk.
A'vin cleared his throat slightly. "How are you feeling, Talvi?" He smiled at her, stroking her cheek fondly, gently. He couldn't help the way that his eyes searched her face, her expression. Or the way that his hand trailed over her hair gently.

Talvi jumped slightly when she felt A'vin's hand cover hers. She hadn't expected him to wake up when she touched him. I am sorry if I woke you. Her voice was quite, and soft as she spoke to the man lying beside her. It was such a pleasant sight to wake up and have him sleeping next to her. That had been something she had dreamed about for quite a while now, but had never had the courage to say anything to him before. Even now she was unsure about what to say.
Talvi smiled and kissed him back, glad that he had made the first move. Best night of my life. How about you? A slow smile spread across her face as she spoke. She wanted to tell him how she felt, but was too scared of what his reaction would be to say anything. Her mind warred with itself. One side saying to just come out with it, the other telling her to be cautious, and make him say it first. Oh the pains of being in love with a man that could just as easily walk away and never see you again.
Frenath grumbled sleepily when she felt movement beside her. I don't wanna get up... The usually energetic green was still tired from her flight, and didn't want to deal with the world just yet. Which made Talvi laugh, and the green grumble some more. She huddled closer to Vinerath's brown body when he wrapped his wings around her. Though, she did realize that her couch might just be a tad bit too small for him, let alone the two of them together.
