Appearance
Leatherell isn't the smallest person out there, but he is rather thin. He stands about 6ft, but he looks smaller because he tends to slump and skulk about, making himself look as small as possible. This does not keep him from standing out like a sore thumb though. Suffering from level 1 albinism, his skin is pale and his hair is a platina color. Everything about him is light. One thing he is grateful for is the fact that because he's only a level 1 albino, his eyes don't take the characteristic red or pink of most albino's, instead they are a relatively normal Grey color.
Leatherell has a finely boned face and as he wears his hair long and in a loose braid it is no surprise that he's often mistaken for a girl, or a homosexual. Both of which are quite wrong. Leatherell seems to be obsessed with the color blue. Everything he wears is some shade of blue.
Personality
Quiet, Introverted, Self Concious, Easily Uneverved, Coward(calls himself a pasivist), Intelligent, Sarcastic, Socialy Awkward.
Leatherell is a very introverted person, he simply doesn't do well in a social situation, period. When forced to come to a social event he will linger on the edges and generaly won't speak unless spoken to. He preffers to spend most of his time locked in a room with a bunch of hides and records to keep him occupied. He conciders himself quite a scholar.
He might be right at that, for he is quite intelligent. Not in the street smart way, but in the book smart way. He will quickly find what ever you want in the scrolls, link cause and effect and will plot a course of action that is best suited to the situation.
That's all he does though, leatherell is a coward through and through, he normally wouldn't risk his skin if he could get out of doing it. He's quite easily spooked and is generally quite guilible and easily tricked into being afraid of something.
He does have more than a healthy dose of sarcasme, wich is the only weapon he has at his disposal. He's quick to grab onto it too, it's hard not to have a conversation with Lea without him applying it. He doesn't make friends easily and those he does make he doesn't usualy keep for long.
He just seems to rub people the wrong way.

History
Leatherell was born the second and last child of a Master Healer and his Weaver wife. A second miracle he was, quite sickly as a child but no less welcome. His mother should never have been able to get either him or alira. She focused most of her time on her son. Something that created an instant jealousy in the young Alira, who had been spoiled rotten by her parents as they had thought she'd be their only child.
Alira grew up following in her fathers footsteps, growing up a vain and proud creature, with a bite as nasty as her bark. She climbed to journeyman status quite quickly. That didn't keep her from picking on her younger brother constantly though. She was somehow convinced he must be homosexual for all his feminine looks and his affinity to the weaver craft.
With the way she treated him it wouldn't have been a surprise if he had been put off of woman forever.
Leatherell was promoted to journeyman weaver at the age of 17 and eventualy he was stationed at trelis. He became a candidate there, given the oppertunity to stand. How could he refuse?. He's more interested in the records than the actual eggs though,..
