Appearance
Standing at a rough 6”1’ the man wasn’t overbearingly tall nor was he the shortest in his class. Medium to dark brown hair tops his head and a pair of clear blue eyes peer out from below. Due to his years spent out at the docks his skin has soaked in the sun enough and now holds a nice, healthy tan. His body doesn’t hold too many scars, though a fair few decorate his hands as a result from getting hooked by his own lines on more then one occasion. He sports a two inch scar that runs from his hairline, through his left eyebrow. A little gift given to him by Fallon during one of their more rowdy fights as teenagers. He is usually seen sporting crisp white or deep red tops with matching dark colored trousers and boots. Simple and clean, the way he generally prefers things.
Personality
Quiet, Laidback, Relaxed, Shy but can be a bit Cocky.
Theault takes great pride in knowing that his father had been a Rider and had given his life for his family and his Weyr. His mother taught him not to be spiteful or angry but proud and hold pride in the fact that he was one of two sons who had the honor to live on and carry on his fathers legacy.
The more laidback of the two brothers, Theo tends to mostly keep to himself, not bothered to go out of his way to make sure he’s surrounded by others. He takes solace in the moments he gets to himself, soaking in the silence before his brother can come along and stir things up again which happened frequent and often. On the occasion where he’s feeling more lively and sociable, which tends to occur around Weyr events, you can find Theault fully immersed in the atmosphere. Yet even then he continues to remain a bit standoffish at times. He actually a quite charming individual once you break down his few personal walls and get to know the man. At times even having the bold tendencies to flirt a little with the opposite sex.

History Where oh where to begin. As always the beginning seems as good a place as ever to start or as close to the beginning as we can recall. When rider boy met the young harper girl one warm summer feast, sparks were bound to fly. The pair were inseparable from that moment on, only parting ways when the rider had to train or fight the other deadly elements Trelis had to offer. Barely a turn had passed since the two began courting did the call to serve go up again, this time for a rescue mission. So the story goes that the rambunctious rider took flight with the rest of his Wing and Weyr. The event was a deadly one and many riders and their dragons came back severely wounded or not at all. That Rider and his Blue were one of the lost, the pair was never seen again. They left behind a heartbroken young woman, pregnant with twin boys that he would never meet. She had been planning to tell him the good news later that night when he came home to her.
That was nearly twenty turns ago and what an eventful span of time it was. The young woman had given birth to two healthy, non identical, boys, Fallon and Theault, each named partly in remembrance of their father who never made it home. Theault grew up more as the easy going carefree type, the complete opposite of his brother. Fallon was much more conniving and troublesome.
Theault was the calmer of the two and really never quite understood why his brother behaved the way he did.
Being twins the boys were always seen together, hardly ever apart. That was until they hit the age of fourteen and Fallon simply disappeared, ran off with all his hatred and pent up rage and leaving his brother on his own. Theo took it all in stride though. Of course it hurt when his brother left but eventually Theo got over it and began to move on with his life.
He started off small of course, his mother wished her son to follow in the harper trader but the dark haired boy had other things in mind. Not long after Fallon had runaway, Theault found himself being drawn more and more to the docks and the sea. Time went on and a young captain hired the boy on as a deckhand. It wasn’t glamorous but he loved every moment of it. Everyday since, for nearly six turns, the young man had dedicated his life to the workings of the dock and ship he had grown to love. He was happy, his mother seemed less stressed, and all seemed well in the world.
It wasn’t until he was nearly eighteen did Theo get the chance to see his brother once more. He arrived atop a brown dragon, the Rider had been a friend of their fathers, bound and unconscious. Theault helped transfer his sibling with help from the Rider to their mothers quarters and from there he began to learn what his brother had been up to for the past four years. What he managed to get out of their mother shocked him. To learn that his flesh and blood had turned so dark and vile was almost unreal.
As Fallon regained consciousness a fight broke out between the men. One upset for being dragged back to this “hell” the other for refusing to believe the crimes his brother had committed. The fight lasted only a few brief minutes but was long enough to break a small wooden table. It only ended when Fallon pulled one of his knives on his brother, only trying to ward him off, but ended up cleanly slicing him across his forehead. The Rider and a few passersby quickly grabbed Fallon and hauled him off, leaving Theo with a lasting scar and mixed feelings about his deranged brother.
The days passed and Theault eventually went back to his docks. Content to spend his lazy days fighting with the forces of nature till the day came where his next trip to the Weyr would draw him into the world of the whers. There had been a rumor that their gold had ran recently so there would be a clutch on the sands soon. Theo had some time off and it seemed like a interesting little world to look in to. It wasn’t like one of the night creatures would choose the observer anyways right?
