Shenzi has extremely long, silky soft, black hair that reaches well below the base of her back. She normally keeps her hair pulled back with white ribbon with a decorative comb. She also has dark brown eyes that are always sparkling. She is normally wearing a long, multi-colored, dress that has flowers on it. She is always wearing red sandals, that match the red on her dress. She is a very expressive person, and isn't afraid to show her feelings like the pages of an open book.
She has a strange tendency to pull some of her hair in front of her shoulder, and mess with it whenever she is either bored, or just spacing out. Shenzi always moves with a quiet confidence. Her movements are always smooth, graceful, and controlled. Her held is always held high and proud. She has very light colored skin, and looks extremely petite, and delicate. Her singing voice is extremely gentle on one's ears, and it is also very enticing. Kind of like that forbidden treat that you want, but can't have.
Shenzi is best at playing the flute, though, she also does well with almost all of the other instruments she's tried. She seems to come alive when she's dancing, and all of her movements seem to mesmerize her audience. They are smooth and flowing, and even if she is improvising, they seem like they've been planned hours ahead of time. She is 5'5" and weights 128 pounds.
Personality:
Shenzi is a very happy woman, with seemingly boundless energy. She is very out-going, friendly, sweet, kind, caring, and is easily distracted. She loves to draw, sing, and dance, and will do these things for hours on end, and will still have tons of energy left over. She loves kids, but she hates felines for some odd reason. She just can't stand them, which is one reason her favorite animal is the canine.
Shenzi is very playful, but she is also quite the book worm. Her favorite books are the ones that have stories of Perns past, especially if they have songs in them. She has a knack for playing instruments, and can often be found trying to find ways to make new songs. Her favorite instrument is the flute, and whenever she has free time that she isn't spending working on songs, she can be found off somewhere playing her flute.
Shenzi always keeps her flute on her, no matter where she goes. Though, there are times when she just doesn't feel like playing an instrument, or singing. She is also an excellent artist, and her drawings are extremely accurate, and very detailed. She is also a very curious woman, and loves to explore the world around her. The only thing that she likes that doesn't involve being a Harper, is swimming. She will swim until her skin starts wrinkling. Even when she is swimming, she seems to be dancing. Her movements being graceful, and delicate.

History
Shenzi practically grew up in the Harper Hall. Her mother, father, sister, aunt, and uncle were all Harper's. So the little girl was predisposed to the activities of the Harper Hall. She's been dancing since she was old enough to walk, and she has been singing, since she was old enough to talk. Though, her skill with instruments, and drawing came later on in life. Those talents showed up around the time that she was nine years old, the same year that her cousin T'rian was born.
The two of them were pretty close as they grew up. Especially since T'rian's mother was Shenzi's father's sister. She was about ten years old when her parents asked her if she would like to attend the school, obviously she said yes. Something that surprised almost everyone that knew the young girl, was how quickly she excelled at just about everything she tried. When Shenzi was about fifteen she was allowed to walk the tables.
Shenzi achieved her rank of Master Harper when she was only twenty years old. There had been a lot of people that didn't like the fact that such a young woman was the Master Harper, and it took several years before they finally stopped arguing about it, and just accepted it. Now, six years after everyone finally accepted her completely, she decided to come visit Trelis Weyr to see the new weyrlings. Not to mention to see what her cousin's child would be like. She plans on being part of the entertainment when the Junior Queen rises.

She is a very petite looking wher, and is smaller than most wher's her color can get. She is definitely unique, that's for sure. She is a pinkish ruby in color, with darker, maroon looking markings on her neck, muzzle, tail and her wings.

Shesk has a very feminine voice, but it's also very strong. Her voice is that of a fighter, and sounds like it belongs to someone who never gives up. It can sound very pleasant one moment, and the next, it can get very, very harsh. this only happens when she's upset, so it's not that often.
