Name Fellosirrax [F'rax] Pronunciation fell-OCE-ee-rax [Fee-rax] Age 35 Turns Season Winter Gender Male Sexuality Heterosexual
Appearance Standing an easy 6'3", F'rax can still manage to be an unassuming man. He carries himself with an ease that belies turns of hard labor, fighting, and Thread preparation. When he walks it is with an easy lope devoid of posturing, when he sits he slouches happily--even when reprimanded. Everything about him screams seventeen going on forty: You best not forget that either. His hands and feet are large to match his frame; his shoulders are broad and his hips and buttock are well muscled: but he lacks a refined hone which would have come from a Craft. Born a Weyrbrat he only knew the softer chores that stone walls had to offer.
His face is boyish and handsome, chiseled and sharply defined with high cheekbones and a strong jaw--he finds himself the focus of often-unwanted attentions from both women and men. His hair alternates between a ruddy brown or sun-kissed blond depending on how long Rukbat has graced his shoulders--the same can be said for his skin: It fluctuates between a healthy peach and a deep Southern tan.
The eyes that gaze out of that chiseled face are an impassive stormy blue; and he has absolute control over those eyes and his expression both. Far too many years of training young men and women to Impress and then to Fly--he has needed his wits about him at all moments: He has needed to hide the anguish of loss when a Weyrling never re-appears from between, and hide the brilliant satisfaction when his prized student executes a wing drill flawlessly. He does this because he must remain steadfast and fair; he must not falter or stumble--he must not show that there are favourites. So above all else--his face adopts a quiet encouragement for his students.
For everyone else, his emotional state will vary. For acquaintances he will beg happiness and lighthearted freedom--while for his most dear and closest friends he will mourn and cry freely for the deaths he has shouldered as a burden.

Personality F'rax is a rock. He has always been the foundation on which his friends and family built solid relationships and maintained emotional steadiness in times of great need. Empathic and understanding, F'rax will often find himself drawn to those who are troubled, or--finds those who are troubled drawn to him. He has never turned anyone away, and is always available as a strong shoulder to cry on. Leading a very successful career as a Wingsecond, he was promoted to Wingleader position--though not during a time of Threadfall; F'rax accepted this extra responsibility willingly. When it came to Flight Drills his wing outperformed the others with flying colours, but he had qualities that the Weyrleadership decided to tap for other uses.
One of those few men with leadership capabilities but lacking the drive or competitive urge to be the best at everything; F'rax released his Wingleader position to a capable Bronzerider and instead chose to focus on that which he found more important--the training of Weyrlings and Candidates alike. Amiable and easy-going he has found himself bounced around between positions for turns; and doesn't seem to mind. One quarter he'll work with new Candidates, and the next with Junior Weyrlings: He is quick on his feet and quicker with his lesson-plans (which are all categorized and organized by sevenday and date) making him a valuable resource even when placed in an assistant position.
Yet for all of his good-natured kindness, F'rax can be firm: He does so in such a way that does not belittle the chided party nor does he allow said party to believe that what they did was not inherently wrong. He finds that lovely middle ground between punishment and actual learning; which proves invaluable for hot-headed Candidates who are fully prepared to fly Kings and lead the Weyr in three turns time.
Privately he is generous, and sweet, and many women would be hard-pressed to find a lover move giving than F'rax. Unfortunately his schedule doesn't leave much time for courting or perhaps this would be a well-known fact. As it stands he is simply adoring of his friends; anyone who supports him and comes to understand him is taken care of at all costs to himself. Whether that means midnight mugs of klah and conversation, or daylight errands to help a frantic Headwoman. If someone has need; F'rax is the man to call upon.
Unfortunately this has the possibility of turning him into your typical doormat, and while most of those he gives himself to are worthy--he still will drain himself completely dry before realizing he should save something to work on. Long days will leave him drained, stressed, and burdened by worries, but he doesn't feel as if he has the right to burden another person--so he carries all of his problems on his back. Frequent emotional breakdowns occur in the privacy of his weyr--these leave him drained, but ready for a night of sleep. F'rax is ever on the lookout for an understanding shoulder, but he isn't sure if he is able to accept it even when he finds it.
