Why?

So, I have been thinking...why did you all choose Trelis as one of your sites. Obviously, everyone has different reasons and preferences, but I'd love to know what those reasons are. Partially to get to know you all better, and partially to see what we're doing as a site right. It helps bring in more future members, and keep the current ones happy.

I know I made this site for four main reasons:

1) I had an idea.
2) I wanted to be a part of a community more. So many sites I've been on are so close-knit, that it's hard to really get into the groups.
3) I wanted an rp environment that wasn't biased on favorites and staff. I try very hard not to be like that, and move everything around so that everyone has a chance in the spotlight sometime or another. I hope I'm doing that as much as I hope.
4) I wanted an environment where the members could help with the plot more and feel freer to make suggestions. Which, by the way, if you have any or would love to be a major part of a plot, just pm me and we'll discuss what we can do. This site is made for EVERYONE to have fun in after all.

I have rped with Lark before and really enjoy talking with her and rping with her, so I decided I would look at her site and after poking around and debating if I should take on another site... I decided I liked the characters and recognized some other rpers I really enjoy talkign with and rping with... and decided to join. The community at the time was pretty open twoo, which I really appreciated. ^^

Why? That's easy. Mainly because I've been a fan of the books since I was 11 (so 11 years now...yeesh now I sound old >.<) and have been looking for a DRoP site to catch my interest for a while now.
Trelis caught my eye because it was brand new, I think I was in the top 5 to join, seemed like it would grow to be something great and I want to see if me and my little char's could be a part of that. Most of the other sites I've seen tend to make things too complicated or they were so far along the community wasn't really open to rp with new peoples. So what's better than jumping headfirst into a new site and see what happens?

Honestly, you answered my questions very much to my preferences. I prefer laid back sites that trust their players. You don't limit characters-- you trust me to know my limits. I really like that. You were really friendly, and really willing to answer my questions. You're so excited about your own site, which makes me excited to play in it-- you have all these plans and things you can't wait to do, and that means that I as a player get to play here and have all those fun things to participate in. I really like your dragon design. I really like how much the community's been willing to accept me, a total stranger. :3 And you understand that I have other pressures on my time and are okay with that. Basically, I really approve of your 'tude, Lark, and since it's your 'tude that informs the 'tude of your game, I have only good things to say.

Well, I guess I joined for two main reasons...
1. I loved Rping with Lark on Plagued so, like Zi, I followed her here. ((does that make me sound like a puppy? >.> ))

2. I wanted to be part of a newer site to test my rping abilities.

Everything after that has just been icing on the cake!!!!
