*Sizing for Huntyres is in feet, also it is referring to the height of the bird.*
Appearance
Rainbows are the largest of the three breeds. Made up of multiple colors, often varying shades of reds, purples, blues, greens and oranges, they are easily spotted among Trelis. Other than the two plumes that reach down past their tail feathers, they also have a crest. This will move and flare out when expressing emotions.
Personality
Rainbows are regal in personality and are hardly goof-offs. However, there are always exceptions. Generally though, they are born leaders and from their first moment out of the egg portray this. Especially in the wild, all Huntyres in a society will look toward one dominant Rainbow for guidance. This is usually the strongest one in the group. Because of this competition, Rainbows are also very prideful and hate being showed-up.
Chasing
Rainbows mature and begin chasing females any time after ___ months.

Appearance
Forests are the midsized Huntyre in the group. Being the only female, they are also more dully colored so that they are not hunted as often as the other two. Their bodies generally consist of browns, tans, grays and greens. Like with the males, the Forests have two longer plumes that trail behind the tail feathers. However, they do not have crests. Instead, they have some extra feathers around their necks which will puff out. These are often used to help warm the eggs, and are even plucked to decorate and soften the nest.
Personality
Forests have a wide array of personalities. Some are very sweet and gentle, others are incredibly protective or even mean. Similar to green bondeds though, they are always flirtatious and flighty. They have the best memory as well, in the wild often going to the same place where they were hatched to clutch. One thing that is certain about the Forests though is that around the time they are clutching or rising, they will get very aggressive and protective of their territory. In a Weyr this is their owner's weyr or barracks.
Clutching
Forests mature any time after 18 months of age and will rise once every Turn or two. They rise less frequently when surrounded by large numbers of other females. They generally will clutch about 4-12 eggs. However there are almost always duds in the clutch.
Other
Female huntyres are very social animals. it is not unusual to see many females from an area caring for a single clutch.

Lunars are like any of the other breeds, except they are very pale and ghostly. Their bodies consist mainly of a white or silver color, and then they also have plumes that are either gray, green, or blue. Just like with the previous two, Lunars have two longer plumes trailing past their tail feathers, and like the Rainbow they have a crest on their head. With a sharp beak and talons that are either a slate gray or black color, they stand out among the jungle terrain around Trelis.
Personality
Lunars are the most submissive and docile of the three breeds. Often they will also be the comical relief of the flock. Because of this, many are loved, but also are taken for granted. There are exceptions where some Lunars are very proud or even mean at times as well.
Chasing
Lunars mature and begin chasing any time after ___ months of age.
Size
Roughly 1 foot
Impression- Huntyres are like firelizards in that they normally don't care about the gender of the person they impress to. However, the birds bond to a person with a similar personality. Even if it is just a flicker being shown, a Rainbow for instance would much rather impress to a more dominant person than one who is submissive. As with everything, there are exceptions to this.
