Mavrin yawned and looked around the room he called his quarters. Being still sleepy, he had been up some of the morning too, he tossed onto his side in the attempt to fall into the darkness once again. Stupid gear that had to be cleaned and fixed in the stupid morning. Sighing, the wher handler yawned again. Where was Mavrisk? Normally the blue prefered to be next to him when His was sleeping. A bit strange sure since whers normally prefered to be in their caves. However, Mavrisk was...well...shy. Laughing to himself, Rin wondered for the hundreth time since he had impressed how that had been possible. That he, who was incredibly social and hyper even, could impress to an introverted wher. He loved Mavrisk though, so very much.

Mavrisk love Mavrin too! Mavrisk love His much! Nuzzling his dark blue, almost black head into his handler's side, Mavrisk crooned in a low voice. Hey buddy, I was wondering where you were. Leaning over the bed, Rin rubbed the lumpy side and scratched the wher between his eye-ridges. So, what do you want to do today? Mavrisk cocked his head. Mavrisk not know. Mavrisk leave to Mavrin! They didn't have a shift today guarding anything, though Rin knew that with a clutch on the sands they'd probably double them soon. Everyone wanted to make sure the eggs were safe from any possible harm, no matter what that might be. Yawning, Rin got up and pulled on actual clothes instead of night wear. What did he want to do today?

Loba sighed as she laid in her bed, unable to sleep. She smiled when she received a picture of Lobask "smiling". Which normally meant that the strange creature wanted Loba's company. The wher's cave was just on the other side of Loba's room. The creature almost never came into her room unless she was scared, which meant that Loba had to get up to give her bonded the company she wanted. She had on a long night-gown that reached her ankles, and just lightly brushed against the ground when she walked. She sighed as she uncovered herself, and slowly got out of her bed. Loba walked from her room to the wher's cave and was greeted with a giant "kiss" from the creatures tongue. She wasn't sure where Lobask had learned that from but wished she could get the lovable creature to stop.

So my lovely girl, what would you like to do? Loba's voice was soft and sweet as she spoke to her green wher. She really did love the creature, and was glad that she had impressed her that day. Loba laughed when Lobask sent her a mental picture of the baths. Figures you'd want a bath. Alright you, let's go. She turned from the wher and began the trek to the large communal baths. The two of them had to pass through Loba's room to reach the hallway that was the most direct way to the baths, and the handler started to wonder if they had woken anybody up. She hoped that they hadn't, not only because she didn't want to get in trouble, but because she didn't want to see anyone because she was just plain shy.

Mavrin yawned and headed out his door with Mavrisk trailing after him. Mavrisk want bath! Chuckling, the handler nodded his head. "Okay buddy, let's go down to the baths then." Leading the blue out to the communal area, Rin wondered if anyone else would be up now. It was the time of day people were either asleep or out watching the grounds and eggs, so it wasn't like there were many around. Still though, it would be nice to have some company. Running behind His, Mavrisk crooned happily. He had nothing to fear right now! His was simply taking him to get a bath and oil his hide.

"You want your hide oiled too buddy?" Mavrisk want oil, Mavrisk want oil now! Nudging his handler, the darkly hued blue ran around Rin's legs and into the bathing rooms. "Oh, hello Loba, Lobask!" Nodding a greating, Rin smiled at the green handler and her wher. Mavrisk stopped suddenly at the sight of the brightly colored green. Lobask good? The wher couldn't remember if she were or not. Laughing softly, Rin nodded his head. "Yeah Mavrisk, she's fine." Warbling happily, the blue ran over to Lobask and nudged her side. Mavrisk greet Lobask! Lobask play with Mavrisk?

Loba smiled as her and Lobask reached the baths. So far they hadn't seen anyone, which was always a good thing in Loba's books. She laughed when Lobask started to play around in the water. Alright you, take it easy. Lobask has fun! The green wher's voice echoed gentlely in Loba's mind. I know your having fun, but please take it easy Lobask. We don't want to disturb anyone. She just shook her head when the only response from the green wher was an empty stare. Lobask shook her head and went back to running around in the shallow part of the baths, not really sure what Her's meant. Labask want oil! Loba smiled at the simple request from her wher. Alright, come here and I'll oil you. Akira smiled and waited for her wher to get close enough for her to oil her bright green hide. Akira jumped when she heard someone talking. She had thought that Lobask and herself were the only ones out and about, but she was obviously wrong. She watched as a dark blue wher ran into the baths.

It took her a couple of seconds to realize where she had seen that dark blue hide before, and at the same time his handler walked into the room. H..h..hi Mavrin. Her voice was little more than a surprised whisper as she greeted the other wher handler. She knew who he was, but didn't really know him. She didn't really know anyone really, she didn't like to socialize. Lobask on the other hand loved to have company from the other whers. Her tail looked as if it really was wagging like a dog's. Loba looked shyly at Mavrin when she heard him tell his wher that Lobask was good. She didn't really understand what that meant, but it was soon revealed to her when the blue wher warbled and ran over to Lobask. Lobask greet Mavrisk! Lobask play! The green's energy level seemed to skyrocket as she spoke. She finally had a chance to play with another wher while Hers started to socialize.
