Set in the 9th Pass, Silver Falls is an AU Pern forum for semi to literate roleplayers looking for something other than the everyday site. In Silver Fall's history, AIVAS was destroyed before the Red Star could be taken out of orbit. However, what AIVAS revealed was a forgotten continent in the East that had a research facility built into the already naturally made caverns of a mountainside. Deep within these rooms lay two mechanically run, though at the time sleeping, capsules containing the last batches of genetically engineered dragon eggs.
While waiting for the eggs to hatch, having used AIVAS to restore the systems and restart the program, the Weyrs of Pern sent a few riders to watch over the new charges. Three weeks before they hatched though Fort, Telgar and High Reaches Weyrs disappeared without warning over night. Not long after Monaco Bay too was gone along with some of the legendary heroes that the 9th Pass was known for. Pern was unsettled, wondering if they Timed It again for some reason. When eyes were turned away from the clutch in the East, the first batch hatched to reveal three new colors; two having both a male and female, and one being what many are calling a new Queen. And to add to the pressures that Pern now faces, the dragons have been reported as being aggressive and hostile toward firelizards all across the planet.
