Inali sighed, cradling her youngest daughter in her arms. She had finally stopped crying again, Loraketh finally informing her that she should probably be fed. It had worked as the Gold had said; strange how she always knew. Then again, the Queens were supposed to have natural mothering instincts, something Inali hoped the Sub-Queens had been born with as well. We will see My Lady. Nothing can match a Queen however, though they are welcome to try.
Loraketh's laughter brightened the Weyrwoman's day as she closed her eyes to take in the feminine voice. Bells. That's always what she had thought of when Loraketh talked, simple higher pitched bells. The dragoness crooned from the position she had taken on the Weyr Heights. From here she could see everything, from here she could easily defend her home. Nothing was going to catch her off guard again, she would not be so naive again.
Her rider nodded her head, a wordless agreement crossing between them. On other matters though, the wing try outs had done wonderfully. The Weyrwoman and Leader had of course gone to watch and participate, and afterwards she had talked extensively with T'rian and S'val about the positions in the wings. Those, she would be announcing tonight later in the evening. For now though, there was food to be eaten and fun to be had.
The Harpers stroked up a tune, the instruments sending a primal beat through the drum melody. Her hips swayed slightly, and not for the first time Inali was happy that she had her children outside of her body instead of in. Loraketh laughed at that, flicking her wings outward then bringing them in again. The orange gold membranes flashed in the setting light, catching Rukbat's rays. Keep an eye out for Izanycorth's rider and the Sub-Queen riders too love, alright?
Yes. I will, do you want them to see you? Inali bit her lip as she thought about this for a moment. Yes, I'd like that. The young woman bent her head to kiss Inoria's head, the baby shifting slightly in her sleep-state. Is there something in particular you want to say to them? No. I just would like to see them...and to schedule a lesson again for them. I think it's about time we had another one Lore. After all, with the preparations we had to do, I didn't get one in for them this week or last.
Nodding her head, the Gold searched the Weyr for the young Queen and her two daughters. Bring Yours to My Lady, she wishes to speak with them and partake in their company. Loraketh's formal tone held little real interest, her mind was on other things lately.
