Aantara was holding one of nine little bundles of fur in her arms. The rest were in the box by her feet at the booth she had managed to... well... She rather not explain that. Sularth was not here with her... Which was not exactly something she was pleased with at the moment. She looked at her two cats, Viia who was now in the box with her kittens. Rammos sat still as a statue, staring at everyone who walked past. His kittens were his kittens.
The first kitten, the one that Aantara was currently holding, the Fallen Leaves kitten, was soundly sleeping away as she waited for someone to come for her. Her brother, the only other tabby of the nine, the Gray at Dawn kitten, was busy attempting to climb over top his mother, his little tail turning about quickly.
The First Snow kitten lay next to her mother's white belly, nearly blending in to the white fur there. She was decidedly a little con-artist in her cute little fluffy body. She was tall, slim, and probably the smallest of the kittens here. Her little blue eyes popped open and she gave a plaintive meow for a brief moment.
The Sand Patch kitten was decidedly ready to get out and explore the world as he tried to pull at the corner of hte box to pull himself up and over the edge.
Dark Winter Skies Kitten was laying on his back, paws in the air as he wiggled around. He was a happy thing, content to scratch his back on the not quite rough enough texture of the box itself.
The other gray with white and darker gray markings, the Eclipse Kitten sat on her haunches, licking a paw, utterly calm and quiet, despite the fact that the excitement around her was everywhere. She seemed rather... prideful in the way she sat.
The Solstice Kitten sat with his back to the box, his eyes upward, as if pleading for someone just to take him out of this cramped space. He was doing hsi best not to be touched by his siblings, though he did seem to be attempting to get his mothers tail every time it twitched.
Colors of Fall Kitten moved quickly amongst the others, sliding in and out of the mess of fur and living creatures. She seemed to enjoy sliding up against the Solstice Kitten, who would become annoyed and hissed him, but that was about it.
The Last of Winter Kitten rested against her mother's front paws. She was definitely a momma's girl.
Now... they just had to wait to see who would take which kitten. she was sure they would soon all have good homes.

Petal went to the kitten stall. The girl looked over the kittens and wondered which one she would like the best. The one kitten that caught her eye was the white one next to her mother. The blue eyes of the kitten seemed to call to Petal. "Oh she is so pretty. Can I have her?" Petal couldn't help, but fall in love with the white kitten. The girl already had a Huntyre, but still had to name him. Petal smiled at the woman with the little kittens. It would be nice to have a four legged companion.
The girl was ecstatic to get her own four legged creature companion. She had heard that it was an interesting experience and Petal knew that it going to be a fun one as well. Petal waited for permission to take the white female kitten. The girl almost couldn't keep in the squeal over the kitten. Shards, why was she acting like a two Turn old child? Petal outgrew this a long time ago. She needed to focus on the now instead of pretending to be what she wasn't. So with a deep breath she calmed down and waited.

Akilu had been walking around the gather without any means really. Lorendyy came and went you see, so she had no real reason to stick with what the green wanted. She supposed that the dragonet had her own business to take care of. Currently the green was nearby a girl who had small fuzzy things. Lorendyth looked at them, crooning thoughtfully. She liked the white one with blue eyes the girl was giving away now. Shouldnt it be Her's?
Akilu found Lorendyth not long after that thought secretly crossed the dragon's mind. "Oh, do you like them?" The weyrling smiled and scratched Lorendyth's head affectionately. Snorting, the green nodded. Akilu lauged then and moved forward to the box. She saw, Petal was her name, taking a white kitten and forgot about it instantly. Lorendyth hissed unhappily at this, nudging hers. She wanted the devious one!
"No Lorendyth. That ones Petal's. I like this one actually." The weyrling moved to pick up the Eclipse Kitten from her place in the box. She seemed to have such a sweet, even temperament.

U'wa breathed a sigh of relief as he got to finally walk around the gather. No more dealing with people and babies and all that hard to deal with stuff. Oh! Ooooooooh Mine! Over there! Over there are some FLUFFIES! I want one pleasepleaseplease!!! Peniath called from her place in the skies. She had wanted a puppy earlier, after hearing some gossip about them, but they had all been taken before they got there. Now however, it seemed the green had found something even better than puppies. Shuffling over to the small group, Peniath peered into the box. Kittens? Oh they were cute! But.. would he have time to care and raise a kitten? Peniath still took a lot of his time. Then again, now that she could fly and hunt on her own, the amount of time spent caring for her had lessened considerably. He peered into the box again, now rather intent on having a fuzzy little bundle of joy to care for. Peniath circled high overhead, trying to get a good look at the fluffies.
"Umm... e-excuse me Miss...." He spoke quietly, trying to get Aantara's attention. "M-may I a-adopt one of these?" He knelt down beside the basket, looking them over again. The solstice kitty was sinfully cute, but he wanted a kitten that would cuddle with him, and the way that cat was avoiding its siblings made him a little worried. Instead he reached out tentatively to touch the Dark Winter Skies Kitten. He would help scratch the little one's back... if it let him anyway.

Aantara smiled to those who came by her kittens. "Certainly." She reached down and put the red tabby kitten she was holding down and took the white one out of the box, handing her to the girl. "Take good care of her." Shin's First Snow KittenSize at full growth: 1 foot 3 inches long Description: White as snow, pale blue eyes, pale pink nose. She is mischievous and fun loving. She'll give you a run for the money from time to time, but she really is quite loving. The Eclipse kitten gave a little meow and purred as she was picked up, being rather happy to be. She looked around curiously, though she didn't seem too bothered by anything at all. Lark's Eclipse Kitten Size at Full Growth: 1 foot 5 inches Description: this little female is about average size, especially compared to others of the litter. She is a pale gray with white and some slightly darker gray markings. She is decidedly calm and unbothered by the world around her, though she does show a healthy dose of curiosity. Oh! oh! Person wanting to hold and scratch him! Yay! yay. He purred and rubbed against his U'wa's hand. This would be his boy, yes? Aantara grinned. "Looks like he likes you. You most certainly can adopt him." Zi's Dark Winter Skies KittenSize: 2 feet in length and full growth Description. He is an all over pale gray with a few even lighter spots on his stomach and back. His eyes are a dark green and his nose a rather rich, if pale pink. He loves to rub against things and cuddle. When he has an itch, he won't hesitate to roll around on the ground... as long as it's clean or a blanket or something. No sense in getting his lovely fur dirty!

Akilu smiled as the little kitten mrowed. She shook her head then, purring as the weyrling started to smooth her fingers along the downy gray fur. "What to call you?" The question was an obvious one. It did need a name after all. The kitten mrowed again, flicking her tailtip happily. Nothing seemed to phase her much despite the bustle around them. Beside her, Lorendyth huffed. Such a useless thing. Then she noticed as others started to come around and look at Hers' FluffyThing. The green crooned thoughtfully. Well now, this was a good thing after all. She could control the world if only she had enough Fluffies!
The green seemed to purr as well, stretching out against the earth. This was turning out well after all in the end. The dark dragonet looked up at Hers, nudging the young woman on her hip. "She really does need a name Lorendyth. Have any ideas?" In response, Lorendyth pranced around Hers, chirping happily. Oh, oh, I know, I know! You should call her...eeeer....ummmm......Mist. She looks like Mist! When Akilu turned around to thank the other green weyrling for the kitten, Lorendyth gagged at her own antics. Oh, how she hated acting like a little twerp. She rolled her eyes, snapping her jaws closed with a click.
Akilu looked back, a questioning look on her face. What Mine? Oh, I was just yawning. The green weaved back and forth on her feet like a little girl rocking on her heels. Nothing bad happening here! Satisfied, Akilu went back to talking to the other green weyrling. "I don't think we've met formally before. We did impress at the same clutch though." She smiled, remembering the girl and her bonded from lessons. In her arms, Mist looked over at her parents, mewling.

U'wa smiled broadly as the little kitty accepted his attention, and it seemed he liked him! Oh happy day! Finally someone to cuddle and snuggle and love! Not that Peniath and Fari weren't loveable, but it was pretty hard to cuddle with a bird or a dragon. But a Kitten? HIS kitten?
"Oh T-Thank you! Thank you so much! I'll take really good care of him, I promise!" He carefully, but happily, lifted the somewhat large grey kitten out of the box, immediately rubbing his hands through the fuzzy soft fur and revelling in the purring he could hear from the kitten. Peniath approached as soon as she could and stuck her nose right against the kitten, trying to get a good look at it and wondering why Hers wanted to pet him so much. The kitten rolled over and rubbed himself against the dragon's nose, causing Peniath to pull back her head and make a strange sound, as if she was sneezing. U'wa grinned.
"I think we're going to get along just fine Little One," He spoke softly to the kitten, rubbling gently against its ear. What will you name him Mine? Peniath asked as she attempted to rub the kitten again. "O-oh... umm... How about.. K-Kour?" The kitten let out a little mrow, though wether it was in approval of the name, or sheer bliss from the scratched, U'wa would never know.
"T-Thanks again!" He said to Aantara with a short bow.
