Hello everyone, I know people are just getting back from holidays and have been wrapped up in plotty goodness for a while. So, here's a thread stating all the important stuff going on in and out of character. First is out of character,
There is an advertising contest HERE. The winners get to make candidates for two wher eggs that hold Queens/new Sub-Queen colors. Enter to find out.
There is a goldrider contest HERE. The winner gets to play an incoming goldrider from High Reaches that arrives during Loraketh's hatching and is the focus of the next plot in December/January. More information can be found on the linked thread.
There is a dragon hatching starting around December 19th! Make candidates if you are interested and start posting with them so they can be elligbke for impression. There will be about thirteen-sixteen eggs depending on how many candidates we get.
Now, in character, here are a few bullet points of what is going on and some background info to help explain everything.
*When Southern was asked to help Trelis after the storm, the Weyrwoman took this as an opportunity to gain power in Pern. She delayed Inali numerous times so that eventually Loraketh rose, and then she told Ar'rex to make sure he gained enough status to be able to send whatever Sub-Queen or Queen Lorkaeth layed in the clutch to Southern after impressing.
*This is easier said than done, the riders were met with much hostility. Eventually there will be a few final straws and Ar'rex is going to do something very bad.
