N'kron still couldn't believe he'd impressed. Him! He wouldn't have even been at the hatching if he hadn't decided to take a "vacation." Well, it seems that he'd be taking a permament one now didn't it? His father had finally sent in a letter by flit, and N'kron took the note from the bronze. He recognized him right away, the reddish bronze hide gleaming in the mid-day light. "Alright Soleil, you waiting till I have a reply?" The bronze chirped and nodded his head. His would expect one from his son. "Well dad's not getting one. I don't have to answer to him anymore. Or that ex fiance of mine." Smiling happily at the word ex, N'kron threw the letter into the fireplace.
He had been in the meeting room between the two halls. One side for the girls, the other for the boys. Though he knew that occasionally there were exceptions for cross-impressed weyrlings like male greenriders that prefered men sexualy. Snorting, the brown weyrling shook his head. It was all to keep them from getting into trouble and protecting the sanity of their dragonets. Well, sorry but who was sharding stupid enough to risk it anyway? Going to shoo off the bronze his father had sent, N'kron was happy to find that Soleil was already gone.
Good afternoon Mine. How have you been since I was up? Anything new happen? The brown crooned in his usual soft voice lifting his marked head. The dragonet looked like a jungle cat as he surveyed His, cocking his head slightly. "Nothing important happened Ildardeth." N'kron looked out the window and settled down into one of the couches. It was threadworn from all the people that had sat there, but comfy nonetheless.
Reaching down to scratcch the brown's eye-ridges, N'kron shook his head again. What was he supposed to do now? Plan how he'd take over this place? A brownrider could become a Weyrleader, but it wasn't often that that happened. That left Wing Second. That would use some work, not to mention he'd need to coax Ildardeth into becoming more outgoing. The brown was as shy and skittish as the creature his hide took after. Well, they'd have to get to work then wouldn't they?
