Akira sighed as she laid on her new bed, Blue curled up asleep on the pillow beside her head. Yazhith had finally worn herself out after a day full of lessons, and playing around the green dragon was tired, and had a full belly. Though, Akira wasn't sure how long that would last. It seemed to the girl that her dragon had a bottomless pit for a stomach, though, it seemed that after a large bucket and a half of meat the dragon seemed to finally fill her belly. At the memory of the way her dragon seemed to be so tired after filling her belly Akira couldn't help but laugh. I wonder who we're rooming with... Her words weren't really directed at anyone inperticular, but when he heard His' voice, the blue firelizard crooned softly. Just like the large green that His had impressed, he was full, and ready for a nap.

Aela headed to her room. She had been paired with another girl, one she did not know so well. The girl entered her room and saw Akira lying on the bed, "Oh so your my roommate!" Aela smiled to the other girl. "Your Akira right?" From what Aela gathered Akira was a great person. Soon Crest appeared from Between and landed on the unoccupied bed. Hunter had arrived on Talath's back and all that made the entire little family was together again. The girl remembered the exact order she had gotten each of them.
Crest was the oldest. Aela had gotten him when she was at the Halls. The Blue had been her loyal companion ever since. Next came Hunter. The girl had Impressed him a very short time before Loraketh's first Clutch's Hatching. Finally came Talath. The Obsidian was by far the best behaved of the group. Hopefully the Obsidian would teach Crest and Hunter some manners.
With a smile the girl headed to the best that Crest was on and laid back on it. "How do you feel about being a Weyrling now?" For Aela she felt really excited. She was the Rider of a Sub-Queen. She may not be a Junior Weyrwoman, but she was pretty Sharding close from what Loraketh had said at the Feast. Aela did have some leadership qualities, but what had sealed the deal was when she stood up to D'rek on R'hard's behalf. It was fine with her. Talath had found hers through that moment. Aela was glad she had stood up to her friend. If she hadn't Talath probably would not have shown herself so soon.

Akira jumped slightly when she heard another person's voice. She sat up and gave an embarrassed smile. Yep, I'm Akira, the green is Yazhith, and this blue flitter is Blue. The only creature that stirred was Blue, and that was so that he could re-adjust himself on the pillow. Akira shook her head and sighed at her two bondeds. She looked up just in time to see another blue firelizard pop in from between. She smiled and wondered how Blue would react to having another blue in the room. She turned her head to watch as Aela's dragonet came into the room with a huntyre on her back. Well, I guess their family's altogether again. Yazhith rumbled sleepily when she heard Akira's thoughts, though, the small green dragon didn't move from her spot beside Akira's bed, and quickly settled, and went back to sleep. Her stomach was full, her hide was oiled and shiny, and she had had a very busy day. So Yazhith believed she deserved a good long nap.
Akira watched as her roommate went, and laid down on her bed. I'm not sure what to make of it. Yazhith is so energetic, and I'm having trouble keeping her attention on one thing for very long. Akira laid back as she spoke, wondering why it seemed like she was having such an easy time talking to Aela when she has never had it so easy talking to others. Maybe it's just because we're both weyrlings now. She smiled when Yazhith didn't even twitch, glad that the hyper-active dragonet stayed asleep. Akira wasn't sure if she really liked being the rider of such an energetic dragon. She looked over at the obsidian dragan, and wondered what would have happened if Yazhith had never picked her. She wondered if she would still be a candidate, or if one of the other dragons would have chosen such a shy, quiet girl. She started humming a lullaby that she remembered from her childhood, trying to calm herself down.
