Name Kierah
Pronunciation Key-air-uh
Age 26 turns
Season Born in Winter
Gender Female
Sexuality Bisexual
Appearance
A fairly average height at 5foot 6inches, Kierah has the slim frame of a dancer. Willowy and seemingly fragile, the strength the woman actually posesses is generally surprising to many that come to know her. Soft features also add to that appearance, including high cheek bones, big almond shaped eyes, and long silky hair. Reaching her lower back, the black, veil-like locks are often either left alone or swept up in a messy bun. Generally though when Kierah is dancing she likes to keep the former so it adds to the overall effect of her movements.
As said, her eyes are almond shaped in her slim face. Being a grayish blue color, they are different than most seen in other asian decendants. Because of this, Kierah tends to think this is her best feature. Her skin is a milky, ivory color. Not quite as yellow or brown as some, but still not a pale hue either. This becomes even more evident during the Summer and Spring months since she often goes outside then.
Besides being a beautiful dancer in the eyes of many she has met before, Kierah also has a sweet folksy sounding voice. It's somewhere between a second soprano and an alto, keeping what most would say is a great range for when she sings along with instruments. She is by no means shy of this either, she will often be found singing or dancing around as she walks. It generally gives her a care-free appearance, but some only think it's laxidasical. When resting, she often curls up on herself, bringing her feet and legs under her body. Or, she perches like a human bird on couches or chairs, generally the arm of the furinture.
Kierah stays with skirts and dress mostly. When she doesn't have one of these on, she'll at least have a wrap kind of skirt over her work pants or leggings. For tops, they often are blouses and peasant tops, occasionally a corset looking piece is put over the top to keep the flowy fabric closer to her skin. This is so that when she preforms Kierah doesn't have to worry about the extra fabric getting in the way, and she just loves how it looks as well. Keeping to colors that are darker, her favorites are wine colors or hues found during Autumn, her favorite season. Though she wears different types of jewelry all the time, the only piece she wears constantly is a braided choker her daughter helped to make for her.
Personality
Kierah is a gentle person really. Never one to harm another, she is always motherly, even if the object of her affection isn't her own child. The harper can't stand anyone crying either, and she will do anything she can to make them feel better. On the topic of mothering, Kierah also can be stern. If someone is misbehaving, she will call them out and scold them. She doesn't usually take any unecessary tom-foolery. However, to "justify" this she will just say that the necessity for joking around is that everyone deserves a break sometimes. Because of this, children generally either like her for giving them a break, while still acting as if she is being strict, or they dislike her because it can be too confusing.
The harper also has a love for life. She wants everyone to be happy as possible, and hates it when they are not. Every little thing that happens around her is also taken as a blessing. Well, unless it is a bad thing, but even then Kierah can normally find the optomistic view. Often when someone is born or there is a celebration, she'll be right there to help and partake in the festivities. She's a free spirit really, so Kierah never is stopped by the idea of responsibilty.
The only exception to this is with her daughter Leotie. Kierah is incredibly protective and responcible about her 4 turn old daughter. She loves Leotie with everything she has in her, and wouldn't ever change the life they have together. Constantly, Kierah can also be found teaching either Leotie or the other children about music and dancing. She enjoys giving lessons, and even opens her doors to adults that wish to learn as well.

History
Kierah was born to K'var and Tariah. The blue rider being from Trelis Weyr had been sent to Apolla to look for dragon candidates. There the harper was sent to him so that Tariah could show K'var around. Instantly it was love at first sight, and they went everywhere together. It wasn't long before K'var had to leave for Trelis again. Not wanting to leave her new lover, Tariah went with him. It wasn't long after that she gave birth to Kierah.
Even from a young age, Kierah loved music. She had a talent for it too, though not for drawing or the other types of harper skills. Her mother taught her everything she knew as the girl aged. At 6 turns, her younger brother Taikin was born. Kierah lavished the boy with toys and fun. Singing to him was one of her favorite things to do though. As Kierah aged two more turns, Tariah knew her daughter needed to start her official apprenticeship. K'var was slightly resentful that Kierah wouldn't stand for impression, but even he could not deny that she had a gift.
So, Kierah was sent at age 8 to Apolla. There she quikly made friends due to her sweet, fun-loving personality. Though she never excelled at art, the girl did improve even more with her singing and playing. Her instrument of choice she found was a fiddle-like object, though a guitar-like one also was learned. Her voice only got better, and after impressing three firelizards at age 12, she utilized their abilities as well. In another two years, her younger brother Taikin would join her at Apolla as well. However, the boy had taken a shine not to music or drawing, but to weaving.
It wasn't until her 16th turn that Kierah started to dance. Before she loved to go to the gathers and perform, however she had stayed back whenever the dancers took their turn. A boy by the name of Leiran took her hand one time though and taught her her first steps. Finding a love for the act, Kierah took a few lessons from the dancers, eventually finding she had even more of a talent for this than for singing. It was then that Kierah changed her specialization, though she still spent time on her other studies as well.
Turn after turn passed then, and Leiran and Kierah only got closer. In her 19th turn the harper was able to walk the tables and graduate from her apprenticeship finally. It was then that the couple went to Trelis to start their life. After one of Mivinth's flights, Kierah found that she was with child. The couple was extatic and soon welcomed a baby girl into the family naming her Leotie. Last turn, Leiran passed away when hit his head against a rock. The family had been out on runnerback riding along the river when the man's runner spooked and threw him off. Kierah and Leotie still mourn over Leiran's death, though the more recent events of Sahelli's passing have taken that grief to a different place.

Pet
Name Symphony
Age 14 turns
Type firelizard
Rank white
Size 12 inches
Color Codes F0F0F0
Appearance
Symphony like all whites has a bit of every color in him, but they're faded and hazy looking. His whole hide actually looks foggy in appearance. Being a larger white, he's about the same size of Chime-Bell, though his wings are longer in porportion to his body than hers are. He is the alto of the group.
Personality
Symphony is a relaxed individual. It's not that he's lazy, just very calm. The world could be burning and the white would still go about his business as if nothing had changed. He also is very loyal. He would never harm His or any of his siblings or Little His.
Though he isn't as close to Leotie as Chime is, he still does love her. Instead, he actually is the closest to Kierah. Often he will be found on her shoulder or twined around her neck.
Name Chime-Bell
Age 14 turns
Type firelizard
Rank green
Size 12 inches
Color Codes 687E5A and 003300
Appearance
Chime is on the smaller side of her color. Being petite, she also has smaller wings, though she knows exactly how to use them to the best of her ability. Her hide is a gray, green color that changes to a dark forest green down her sides in a stripe.
Personality
Chime is an adventurous thing. The boldest of the group, the green loves to get into messes and often will search for something interesting to do. Of all the flits, she is the one that spends the most time with Leotie. Because of this, both Kierah and Leotie refer to Chime as Leotie's flit that impressed to Kierah because she knew that her daughter would be born eventually.
Chime also is very friendly. She wants to meet and see everyone and everything possible. Even when she's not supposed to get into things, she will. Her curiousity gets the best of her often times unfortunately, and Kierah is left with the job of scolding her.
Name Tenor
Age 14 turns
Type firelizard
Rank brown
Size 26 inches
Color Codes 5E2605 and CD8500
Appearance
Tenor is a very dark brown firelizard. Along his back though are flecks of bronze, though he isn't a king at all. He's boxier than some browns too, being sturdy and well built. His wings are more like a hawk's, blunt and powerful. They easily can keep him up in the air for long periods, because of this he can even go after Gold flits easier than some of his color.
Personality
Tenor is the loner of the group. He isn't particularly close to any of them, though this isn't to say he completely stays away. He just enjoys his own time away from the annoying Green Sister, and overly chill White Brother. When he is around Kierah, it normally is either to sing in his deep tenor, or to snuggle up for one of his needier moments. These happen few and far in between, but they do happen.
In terms of Kierah's daughter, Tenor loves the child, but stays away. Since Chime often sticks around Leotie, and Tenor finds Chime annoying it makes sense. Occasionaly though the 4 turn old can coax the brown to stay with her, for at least a few moments.
