Oh she was going to regret this, she was going to regret this with such a passion she couldn't even fathom it. Inali sighed and ran a quick hand through her hair, messing up the braid that she had taken such great time in making look good. Oh, calm down. At least you can meet him without having to leave your children! Inali raised an eye-brow at that and the Queen snorted. Doesn't count, you can have someone watch them. After the stealing of The Reckless Egg, Loraketh wasn't about to leave her clutch again.
As a pop and burst of cold air buffeted her from above, Inali looked up in time to see a blue come from between. The dragon landed on the Weyr Bowl, looking around him and then bent to let His down too. The Weyrwoman tilted her head in greeting. "Hello Sh'ay, Zenith. I expect the ride here was decent?" The bluerider shrugged, giving her a once over and leaning on his dragon. "It was okay I guess." He looked past her at another form that was walking toward them.
"Good, Panille you came. This is Sh'ay, he will be filling in for Alyara since she has...decided to take some time off." In truth the weyrling master needed to be away from her teaching duties for multiple reasons, ones that Inali would not go into. Waving at the bluerider, Panille looked at him then back at her Weyrwoman. "What does this have to do with me?" She tossed her red hair over her shoulder and furrowed her brow. When a younger man, but only slightly, walked from behind the blue, she widened her eyes.
"What are you sharding doing here Tikrin?!?" Panille's voice ran up an octave as the childhood friend smirked at her. "Always the same Pan. I transferred with Sh'ay here." He patted the bluerider's shoulder, bumping his hip as he moved past. Panille was thankful that Inali was looking away when the bluerider returned the movement with a long look at the candidate. This wasn't good at all. The greenrider had heard stories of this one, and she knew Tikrin wasn't much better from personal experience.
"So...why did you call me?" She gulped as she turned toward the Weyrwoman. Inali gave an innocent smile and waved goodbye as she walked off. "You're giving them the tour."
Oh shards!
(Feel free to throw in whoever you'd like.)

With a basket full of stinky diaper cloths, Sari made her way into the bowl from the creche. These particular beauties would have to be rinsed off outside before heading to the laundry. It was her duty to see that it got done. The other creche workers squirmed and put their noses up at the task that Sari merely found to be yet one more act of devotion to the little ones she had the privilege of caring for.
Having rolled her eyes at them, she picked up her basket, told them they were being stupid, and headed away.
Seeing a blue in the bowl, Sari slowed her steps with curiosity. She did not recognize the rider or his passenger. Giving a mental shrug she turned her gaze away as she passed them by.
She grew up in the weyr and saw people coming and going all the time. So this strange blue did not interest her. It was just another visitor passing by. At least that is what she thought. If she knew they were transfers, she would have given them an extra second of her consideration and then continued on again as she was now. It really did not matter to her who they were. She had a task to perform. And when it was done, she would be off for candidate chores. Her day was going to be a long one. But she did not complain.

Lilyanna and her mother had just moved to the wherhold not to long again, so her mther told her to go anywhere with out her. She didn't understand why her mother wouldn't let her explore the tunnels by herself 'what really could happen to her' she thought. So when her mother had gone to bed for the night Lilyanna had went to explore the tunels by herself. she was sure she would be back before her mother even discovered she was gone.
What Lilyanna didnt think would happen was that she would get lost in the tunnels 'where in the heck am i' she wondered to herself. Then Lilyanna saw an opening in he tunnel up ahead and was hoping that she had fnd her way back but no such luck she found herself in a bowl shaped area. ' oh no mother is gana kill me' was the only thing she could think when she realized where she was. She knew she was at the weyr bowl when she saw blue dragon land in the bowl but was to far away to hear what any of them where saying. "what have i gotten myself into?"

J'kan was enjoying the Spring Weather. He and Hath had been out flying, just lazily turning circles around the Weyrbowl, when he noticed a Blue descend. He wondered if it was a transfer, and where they were coming from, but was a bit too shy to go down and ask, especially when he saw the Weyrwoman herself green the new arrivals.
Hath snorted contemptiously and folded his wings, plummeting toward the ground. At the last second, he snapped his powerful wings open, caught the air, and landed daintily next to the Blue, whom he greeted with a happy trumpet.
J'kan flushed a deep red. "You think too highly of yourself, Master Hath..." He grumbled before sliding off of his dragon's back. Hath merely nudged his too-shy rider with his nose and raised his head to inspect the Blue. J'kan rolled his eyes and approached the small group. "I apologize for my wherry-brain of a dragon... he's too curious for his own good."

Pan sighed in relief when she saw two younger girls around candidate age and then J'kan come up. "Good, you three can deal with this. Good bye." Handing off her duties as easily as Inali had, the greenrider sauntered off despite Tikrin's protests. "Well...that was probably to be expected." The dark haired boy shook his head, his eyes flicking to the two girls. "Hey, I'm Tikrin. You two look maybe like you know what's going on..." He bid farewell to the bluerider that had brought him before running off toward Sari and Lillyana.
Sh'ay smirked and shook his head. "Kids." Running a hand through his hair, he raised grayish blue eyes to the brownrider. "No problem. Zenith normally is more talkative than this too." The blue snorted, rolling his eyes and butting his head against Sh'ay's back. "Oh come on you over grown wher!" The blue simply flicked his wings. "Not in the mood to talk today huh?" Shrugging his shoulders, the bluerider moved to hook an arm under J'kan's. "Well now, since my lovely guide has ditched me, it looks like you're the one giving me the tour." Looking the rider up and down, he gave a mischievous smile. "Maybe you can even show me your weyr. Name's Sh'ay by the way."
(From here there's a bit of a split in the thread. Tikrin is going with the girls, Sh'ay's going with J'kan.)

The Blue certainly seemed playful, that was sure... and his rider seemed just the same. The banter between them drew a small smile from J'kan, which immediately fell when Sh'ay hooked his arm under J'kan's. The brownrider was far too shy for this-- what did this, this, this bluerider think he was doing?!
The bluerider gave him a mischievous smile, and J'kan felt heat rising to his cheeks again, and heard Hath's laughter in his head. Go have fun, J'kanLoveMine. You are too shy. This Sh'ay looks like he can show you how to have fun.
J'kan really did turn red now, as he turned to face his dragon. "I don't WANT to have fun!" He exclaimed. But Hath only chortled and pushed him into Sh'ay. Too bad. Now be a good host and show the pretty bluerider around!

Sari realized that others were nearby, such as Lillyana, but did not pay any attention to her. She had a task to perform. And the poopy diapers were not getting any sweeter-smelling on their own.
When Tikrin introduced himself and was obviously calling out to her, and maybe another, Sari stopped with the basket in her arms, turned and met his gaze. "Good day to you Tikrin. I am Sari. How can I..." she looked around and saw the other focus of his attention and corrected herself, "How can we be of help to you."
Yes she was polite but really did not have any desire to prolong her stinky task. The aroma was not something she felt he would enjoy either. It was obvious that he had not yet caught it in the soft breeze. Perhaps if he kept getting closer he might. Then she could be on her way again. But no. She would try to be helpful just the same.
So she waited to see what he might say, at the same time wondering who this girl was that had come near as well.
