It had taken Shenzi quite a while to get used to the schedule of being a wherling. Everything was backwards compared to what she was used to. After all, it was a little after midnight and here she was eating breakfast. She shook her head. She loved Shesk with all her heart, but she had to admit there were times when she wished she had never shown up to that wher hatching. She bit her tongue. No, she shouldn’t be thinking like that. The little wher needed her, and she wasn’t going to let it down. Though, there was a small prickling feeling in the back of her mind. What if I have let Lilyanna down? She had taken the girl in off the streets, and had formed a small family with her.
Shenzi wasn’t sure what her adopted daughter thought about all that had happened in the past five months. Nor had she really had all that much time to ask her either. She would have to find some time to herself, so she could set Lilyanna down, and talk to her. She shrugged as an idea came to mind. Since she didn’t really get along with the Wherling Master, what would it hurt to skip a lesson? After all, she was sure she could convince one of the other wherlings to fill her in on what she had missed. A small mischievous smile crossed her lips. She knew she would be in trouble with T’rian and Inali if they found out. But surly they would understand why she had done it.

Lilyanna woke up around midnight knowing that is when Shenzi had to get up for breakfast before she went to her lessons on werlings. Lillyann had to admit that she was alittle jeluase of Shenzi new wherling Shesk but only cause she couldnt spend a lot of time with Shenzi with Shesk taking up all her time. So she had desided that she was going to talk to Sheni at breakfast and tell you about how she felt about Shesk she also wanted to talk to her about harper lessons because she wanted to be a harper just like her mother. Then Lilyanna got out f bed and went to deside what she was gana wear that day it want hard Lilyanna loved dresses but it had to have blue in it or she just wouldnt waer it. Lilyanna disided that she would wear a blue a white dress that her mother had picked up for her not to long ago. From there she got out her silk blue ribbons that granny had got her before she died and tied up her hair.
Lilyanna then walked out of her room and when down the hall to the dinning hall while walk thing about what her mother was going to say when she found out that she was jealuse of Shesk and wanted her mother to spend more time with her. Lilyanna sighed she just didnt know how to go about telling her mother she didnt want her mother to hate her for being to greedy but Lilyanna couldnt help it she loved Shenzi and didnt like that some wherling cold come along and take her away. Then she shook her head she shouldn't think like that her mother had little say in the matter and Shesk wasnt so bad Lilyanna jut missed being with her family. Lilyanna went into the dinning hall to she her mother having Breakfast and when strat up to her and said in a quite voice mother i wish to speek to you about Shesk.

Shenzi looked around when she heard someone walk into the almost deserted dining hall. She smiled when she saw her daughter, and nodded her head at her words. Of course my dear, have a seat and we can talk. Her voice was gentle, and caring as she spoke to Lilyanna. She had been expecting something like this for a while, and had been trying to think of a way to bring it up to her. But since Lilyanna had taken the initiative and brought it up herself, she didn’t have to worry about messing up with the first word she said.
Shenzi felt a light pull at the back of her mind, and knew that the ruby wher would be asking for food soon enough. She was afraid of what might happen if the wher started bugging her to come take care of her while she was talking to her daughter. She silently sent thoughts to the wher to try and get the young wherling to rest a little while longer. She even promised that she would get her something special if she just slept a little while longer. She wanted to have this time for her and Lilyanna, but knew that it wouldn’t last too long.

Lilyanna looked at her mother as she said " of course my dear, have a set and we can talk" and she took a set as her mother had told her to do. " Mother i know your busy with shesk a lot and you really dont have a choice but i wish to spend more time with you and for you to teach me how to be a harper." Lilyanna could only look at her mother in hopes that she wouldn't hate her for want she would say next. "Mother i dont like shesk", looking right in her eyes trying to get acrossed how much this whole thing was really hurting her. Lilyanna felt so bad knowing that saying all of this was going to hurt her mother but she need her mother to see that she hated being alone.

Shenzi listened quietly as Lilyanna spoke to her, she nodded her head, and knew she would have to make more time for her daughter’s lessons. She had taken to teaching the girl herself from the moment she had realized that Lilyanna had taken an interest in being a Harper. But she hadn’t expected to hear what the girl had said next. She lowered her gaze to the table, and wondered what she should say. She had figured that she wouldn’t like the ruby wher, but she had never expected it to affect her like this.
Shenzi hadn’t wanted the wher either at first, but now that they have been together for five months, the little female had grown on her. Why don’t you come with me some time, and help me take care of Shesk? She wasn’t sure if Lilyanna would like that idea, and had a feeling that it would end well. But at least she was trying to make an effort to include the girl in her new life. She wanted her daughter to understand that she was trying to make her happy, and wondered if she would accept the fact that her Harper lessons would have to be held in the company of a wher.

Lilyanna saw the sadness in her mothers eyes and know what she had said had hurt her moher very much for she had grown very use to the wher. She hoped that her mother did not hate her for not like shesk but the wher was slowing taking her mother away from her. Lilyanna was looking at the table when she heard her mpter ask "Why don’t you come with me some time, and help me take care of Shesk?" She looked at her mother with confusion 'it that really aloud' she thought "yes mother i would love to."
Lilyanna still didnt know how this was going to work but she would try anything to be with her mother.
