Iirla wasn't in the infirmary anymore. At least she had that. She was in her own weyr... but she wasn't supposed to leave. Not yet anyways. And it was annoying and confining. She sat at the desk writing again and humming softly. Her youngest flitter, Praesent, was sitting in her lap, occasionally rubbing his head against her arm or her body. Her other flitters were... of doing something. But this little blue had yet to elave her side unelss she sent him on an errand of some sort. He was a hard worker, but he was happy to sit there with her and comfort her. He was a good little friend.
The statuette that D'rian had made for her was displayed on the shelf not far from her bed. She smiled softly, thinking about it. Not just that... but about him and about the day that she ahd had so many visitors in the infirmary. She rather hoped that Rayas was doing alright. And that Vl'kan wasn't being overworked.... Or that D'rian wasn't too busy right now.
Izanycorth crooned softly. Mine, we should get some food... or something. You need to talk to someone or do something. I want to do something... I'm incredibly bored.
Iirla turned back to her little gold and smiled even as she decided to speak to another dragon or two... KelathMineLove... How fair you and yours today. ThormythGreatGarnet, I am certain your training is going well. Her voice was soft and sweet as she looked down from her ledge to where others milled about. Oh! And there was Rayas. Hello young one! She has been worried about you. Iz crooned at him and looked at who else there was that might benefit Hers to see, though she was not necessarily talkative by nature ,she was bored and she wanted company for Hers and her.
Paesent sat up and sneezed, making Iirla giggle. He seemed to, almost blush in a way and Iirla scratched his eyeridges before giving him a small piece of the meat roll she still hadn't eaten that was, now, quite cold.

Rayas had finally finished the day’s chores, and was heading to the baths when Izanycorth spotted him. He jumped when he heard her voice inside his head. That was something he wasn’t used to, and wasn’t sure he would ever truly get used to it. He sighed and nodded his head though. He would have to make a trip up to the rider’s weyrs to see her. But first things first, he had to see if there was something he could do for Iirla. Izanycorth, I’m not sure this will work or not…but is there anything I can get for her before I come to see her? He wasn’t sure if the whole, mental thought thing worked both ways or not, but he might as well give it a try.
Rayas wasn’t sure if he would get a response, or even if the gold weyrling had heard him. Either way he changed his course and headed for the kitchens. Even if she said she didn’t want anything, the least he could to was bring her, her firelizards, and maybe even her dragon, something warm from the kitchens. Though, what he would give to a dragon was beyond him. At least he knew he could bring up some warm meat or something and maybe even some oil for the firelizards. He had decided to make some simple meat rolls for the firelizards. Really, all he did for that was cook some meat, and shape it into miniature wherries for them to gobble up. As for Iirla, he still wasn’t sure what he should do for her. If he had known what her favorite dessert was, he could most likely make it for her, but unfortunately for him, he didn’t know what that was.

Thormyth stretched from where he had been sunning himself on his ledge. He wasn’t particularly happy today. No, you see His has deemed that today be their day of rest. He snorted in remembrance of the prior days conversation, huffing and shaking his head. Rest was for the weak. He growled to no one in particular before sharply dragging his claws across the stone beneath him with a ear shattering squeal. The noise sent a trio of flitters into a bit of a tizzy and they chittered and scolded the large garnet before quickly flying off. Thormyth hissed his pleasure at the minor chaos he had caused and watched amused as the little lizards fled from his presence. Well, he sure felt a little better and wasn’t that really all that mattered?
His moment of self satisfaction was interrupted however as the voice of another spoke quite easily to him. Adjusting himself so he was no longer laying, the crimson male sat straighter and glanced idly around for the source of the voice. It didn’t take him long to locate her though and, really, he wasn’t that surprised to find their little junior Queen looking back at him. Why would she be speaking to him now though? It’s not as though the two had conversed since Theirs had meet during the last Gather.
Then he realized it had to have been because of the rigorous training he and His had adopted. Yes that was it. He was looking good. Of course she had to have taken notice! Clearly satisfied with how his train of thought had worked for him, Thor rumbled a greeting of his own to the young gold. My training goes excellent my young Queen. Was their any doubt in your mind?
Twisting his mind to His own, Thor growled at the man to gain his attention. You wished for a day of rest so go spend it and speak with Izanycorthy’s Own. I have missed conversing and plotting with our young Queen. Vl’kan groaned from where he was currently sprawled across his bed before grudgingly giving into his dragons wishes and hauled himself to his feet. He hadn’t talked to Iirla since visiting her in the infirmary so it couldn’t hurt to pop by and see if she was feeling any better since being released. Besides, seeing her was definitely a lot better then hiding in his weyr all day.
Walking through the halls, he straightened his tunic and flattened down his hair before adjusting the swath of cloth that wrapped around his arm. He couldn’t show up looking a complete wreck after all. Pausing outside her weyr, he checked himself once more and rapped his knuckles firmly against her door. Cracking her door open a bit after he thought he heard someone reply to his knock, Vl’kan peeked his head into the room and smiled when he saw her at her desk. “Hey Iirla. Just thought I’d drop by and see if you were feeling any better since they finally let you out of the infirmary.”

Mine could use something to eat, Rayas. She has a meatroll that has gone to waste already... The young gold's voice was concerned. Maybe if she had some company.... Her croon was gentle. Oh! Trivol is coming to inspect you...
And it was true. It was a second later that the little blue flitter appeared from between above Rayas' head and circled around him before landing on his shoulder, chittering at him to get him some food too.
Iirla looked up to the door as it opened and stood rather quickly, crossing the room to Vl'kan and wrapping her arms around him in a brief hug. "It's good to see you again, Vl'kan!" she said with a grin, looking up at the garnet rider. "Come... sit down," she said, gently taking his hand, though not meaning anything of particular significance by her actions, and lead him to a chair. She was still frail, still weak, but she did her best not to let it show as she lead him to the chair that sat beside her desk as she sat back down again. Praesent was sitting there patiently waiting for her to return. He chirped at Vl'kan curiously and came to rub against his shoulder like a cat would... but the moment Iirla had been seated, he fluttered back to her, his wings causing the motion of a river along his back with the lighter markings before he landed on Iirla's shoulder, purring and crooning as he rubbed against her face adoringly. Iirla smiled at the antics of her newest little blue flitter. He was so nice to have around. she was so glad she had gotten him. She'd have to thank D'rian for retrieving his egg for her again... "How have you been doing... Is Thormyth still working you extremely hard...?" She looked at his arm and frowned... "Vl'kan... have you been injured?" she asked him seriously.
Izanycorth crooned at the garnet. Oh no. But I think you have so far, exceeded any expectation I might have had, her words, though appreciative with almost mischievous. He always brought out that... devious side of the young queen.

Rayas smiled when he heard Izanycorth’s words. So it had been a good thing he had gone to the kitchens. But what does she like? The worry that he was going to make something that would make her sick was evident in his thought to the young gold. Iirla was his friend, and he didn’t want to make things worse for her. Then, just as Izanycorth had said, Trivol appeared above his head. You want some food too huh? Well don’t worry, I’ve got something special cooking up for you as we speak. He chuckled a little as he spoke to the blue firelizard. He wasn’t sure if he would like what he had cooking, but it was worth a shot.
Rayas looked around him, and tried to think of what he should make for his friend, when he realized it was time for the meat to come out, and then be prepared for the final test. You ready for this Trivol? He spoke to the little firelizard as he walked over to take the meat out. After carefully taking the wherry shaped meat treats for the firelizards, out of the oven, he set it down on the counter, and tried to decide if he should decorate them somehow. What you do think? This was the first time he had made anything for firelizards. He cautiously held up one of the little treats for Trivol to try. This would be the straw that broke the camel’s back if things didn’t go right. Well, figuratively speaking that is.

He smiled as she came over and greeted him with a, unexpected, hug before leading him over to her desk. Pulling up a spare chair he took a seat and gently rubbed the little blues chin as he came over and greeted him. “Well hello to you too little one.” Vl’kan spoke lowly to the young flitter before Iirla spoke up again and successfully stole his attention. Ah yes, the questions. Well they were bound to come up sooner or later. Rubbing the back of his neck, the Istan offered a light shrug before he spoke up. “Yes, very much so actually. Well…you know how he is. Thormyth won’t be satisfied until he rules over something. Though in his mind I think he already does.”
The garnetrider trailed off before shrugging that train of thought off. No use dwelling on it now at least, besides Thor still had a bit more growing to do before he could even start employing tactics to take over the world. At the remark about his injury, Vl’kan glanced down at his arm and fidgeted with a trailing piece of cloth. “It’s nothing really. You don’t have to worry about me, I‘m fine.” He forced up a small smile in the hopes that it would reassure her. “Anyways, forget about me, are you doing okay? If there’s anything you need feel free to ask. I’m just down the hall after all..”
Naturally, the crimson dragon mused to himself after Izanycorth’s statement, clearly pleased that she had taken notice of his training. Stretching, Thormyth resettled his wings against his body before training his red streaked gaze on her once more. So, my Queen, any lesser beings annoy you as of late? I could use a little fun…

Inali had had little time to check on Iirla more than every few days, but she was going to now shardit! Pushing the records away, she ignored the odd look the headwoman gave her and scooted out of her chair. On the floor, Inoria glanced up at her mother, making grabbing motions. "Not now sweetheart." The child cried, but after a quick hug from the Weyrwoman she went back to her toys. Leaving her in capable hands, Inali left her quarters and headed down the hall to where Iirla was. It was only in that instance that she realized how ridiculous it was she had not yet spent much time with her Junior Weyrwoman.
After all, the girl, now that Izanycorth had flown and betweened for the first times, was just down the hall from her own weyr. Knocking lightly on the wall outside, Inali went in to find that the gold weyrling wasn't even alone. "Well, well it seems that you are quite the popular weyrling today?" The Weyrwoman's lips curved upward in a smile and she leaned against the inside wall opposite where her Junior was. "Greetings Vl'kan, Rayas. I'm sure that both of you are doing well." She glanced from one boy to the other, a curious thought relaying through her mind. Then again, Inali shouldn't be so worried. After all, she had been very close to T'rian as a weyrling, and they were perfectly fine. They being Loraketh and her. She would not be a goldrider if she was not able to handle the stress My Lady. Nodding slightly, Inali agreed with her dragoness.

D'rian sighed and trudged along toward Iirla's weyr from the kitchens. Kelath's laughter echoed from his flight outside through his mind. it's not that funny you infernal wherriebrained addlepet! Lene and Alessa were a menace though, he had to admit. He was laden with a basket, a homemade blanket, a large ametrine who refused to leave his shoulder, and a jug of milk and a jar of Honey.
Just thinking of you with her ordering you around mine, I cant help it. It's so funny! The bronze approved of the newest addition to their little family. The ametrine Hisame was a little terror who ordered everyone around but him. Well, she tried to order him around but he didnt really care so it was as if she didnt.
D'rian rolled his eyes and slowed his pace readjusting the parcels in his arms. "You know you could help a bit Lene..."
"I couldnt possibly! What would happen if Iirla's new dress were to get honey or milk stains on it before she even gets a chance to wear it?! Nono, that won't do at all!" She grinned and skipped past him almost running into the Weyrwoman she didnt see as she entered Iirla's weyr.
"Oh! My lady Iinali!" Her smile was sweet and embarrassed. "I'm sorry, I didn't see you there..." She popped her head around the weyrwoman so she could see Iirla, to her suprise, V'lkan and the boy Rayas was there as well. "Hello everyone!"
D'rian shook his head as he walked the rest of the way, begging Iinali's pardon and settling at least the milk and honey on top of one of Iirla's dressers before giving her a sweet smile and offering greetings to everyone. If he hadnt been waylaid by Alessa and Lene in the kitchens, everything would have been perfect, but nooooo.
