Iirla grinned and laughed slightly. "Maybe I'm seeing something that isn't there. It's fine for you to want to protect her and her dragon, R'as. In fact, it's a good thing. But I mean... Um... well..." She scratched the back of her head nervously. "I guess what I a mean is... Be careful with her, alright... Don't let things get out of hand. Um... and be gentle. You're huge compared to her," she said with a grin and gave him a mock punch in the arm, which was hardly hard enough to hurt in any way. "I think she is waiting for you, R'as." She said, motioning back to Xae and her little white.
Moth tried to move and gave a soft keen at the pain in her wings. "OH! Moth! You need to hold still! The Healers are still working on your wings... Please... here... just eat this. I know it hurts... I can feel it too, Moth," Xae said to her little white, trying to get her to eat some more. Mine... You won't let anything bad happen to me again, right mine... Oh... I know I messed up... Brother... Brother what did I do to make sister so angry...? Xaemia... Do you know?
"You didn't do anything, Moth. Alright. You're a perfect little angel. Alright darling... Please... just try to hold still and eat something... I think they're almost done..." Xaemia gently scratched her little white's eyeridges as he tried to get her to eat with her other hand.

R’as raised an eyebrow at his sister when she laughed. I think you’re still sick sister. I have no idea what you are talking about. And what do you mean I’m huge?! He kept his voice quiet, but he couldn’t hide the confusion he felt. He knew she hadn’t meant to call him fat or anything, but huge? He shook his head, he just didn’t understand girls sometimes. He raised his eyebrow at her again when she punched him. That’s when he realized he would never understand females, and he shouldn’t even try.
R’as was snapped back into reality when Iirla said that Xae was waiting for him. He shook his head at the Junior Weyrwoman, and turned to walk back to where Xae and the two hatchlings were sitting. He shook his head slowly as he walked back over to them. He once again sat down beside her, and wrapped his arms around her. I’m back now, and I’m not going anywhere, don’t worry. His voice was light and gentle as he spoke to her. He still couldn’t stop himself from thinking about what his sister had told him.
You didn’t make her angry sister. You could never make anyone angry. Virath crooned sadly as he spoke to his sister. She was so innocent, and sweet, it just didn’t make sense why anyone would want to hurt her. He unwrapped his tail from Xaemia as His returned, and went to sit beside his sister. He didn’t know how else to provide comfort to her, which upset the little ebony. He was just glad that the healers were almost finished helping her, and he hopped that whatever they were doing would make her feel better.

"Oh... I'll explain later. And you're huge as in you're very tall, R'as." She told him before he turned back to go to Xaemia. Yep. Maybe he didn't know it yet, but that little girl was special to him in one way or another. She just would have to talk to him later.
Xae smiled as she heard R'as coming back to her. She had come familiar with the way that he walked. He came and sat next to her, putting his arms around her and she couldn't help but relax a little bit. "I won't, R'as..." she said softly and turned her attention back to her white Moth. "Are they almost done R'as...?" she asked him softly, leaning back into him a little bit and gave another handful of meat to her little dragon who took it and chewed it slowly.
You are sure, brother... Mine? she said softly to them and took another piece of the meat that R'as had helped Xae get and chewed it slowly, hungry, but still in so much pain.

R’as shook his head and tried to pay attention to what was going on in front of him. His sister’s words still confused him, and he didn’t really understand what she had meant. Oh well, he would have to find her after everything from the hatching had calmed down, and they would have a chance to talk by themselves. A very small smile split his lips when he heard Xae’s response to his words. He was glad that she felt safe enough with him that she could relax, even if it was only a little bit. He looked over at the healers and smiled.
Yes Xae, at least…it looks like it to me. The numbweed should be starting to kick in soon at least. R’as felt terrible for the little white. But at least he knew that the healers would make sure that she wouldn’t get any infections, or that anything else would happen to make things worse for her or her rider. He wrapped his arms a little tighter around when she leaned back into him. It felt nice to be sitting there with her in his arms, but his sister’s warning kept nagging at the back of his mind, which didn’t leave him very much time to enjoy it.
I am positive sister Moth. Virath crooned happily and gently as he spoke. He was trying to be encouraging to her, but wasn’t sure if it would really work. Soon sister we can go and finish our playing, I promise. He trilled playfully at her, and hopped that that would cheer her up some. After all, they hadn’t really gotten a chance to finish their very small game of tag before everything went wrong for the little white. Oh well, at least she was gonna get better now.

The Glass Menagerie Green had had enough. They needed to get out of her way! Just leave me alone! I jut want Mine! Don't touch me!She was still pushing her way further and further into the crowd and closer to the stands. Oh! She was getting closer! She knew it! She knew she was almost there. He was there. But... none of these. She hissed angrily as a girl laid a hand on her and whipped around, biting the hand that had dared touch her, but not biting it off. Oh no. She would never do that. Oh! She would find him... And wait... There! There he was! Now... if she could only get to him. She jumped at the stands, attempting to climb up into them. She soon got to the top and balanced there, her wings spread as she looked at the one that would be hers. Hers and hers alone. Her eyes started to whilr rainboes already before she ahd even spoken to him. He would know. Yes, he would know. She hissed at the Topaz and the Bronze rider who sat near him. Get away from Mine! K'ganMine! They will not hide you from me anymore! Your Orath has found you and together we will be safe and we will show them how not to lie! They are all liars, aren't they Mine... Oh Mine... your Orath doesn't know why they hid you from her. You will never let them do that again, will you K'ganMine...? Please Mine. LoveMine Own. Please tell Orath you love her. Please? I am so worried that you do not want me... That you will not like me... Please...She gave a soft croon at K'gan, worried still that she didn't want him. She could already tell that he feared dragons... She didn't want that. She didn't want him to fear her. She wanted him to love her and love her so very much. Because she loved him. She loved him so much! Green Orath Impressed To: Keegan Pronunciation:Or-rath Rank: Green Size: 26 Feet Color Codes:Base Colors: befd00, 83bb2f, and 0b3d0dLegs and Tail: 002410Underside: bcfa00Eye Marking: 053116Appearance:This girl is rather large for a green with well developed muscles. Her wings are positively huge, almost too much so for her body. Her muscles are well developed. She is not your typical petite lady. Her hide is a gradient of bright lime greens to medium almost grass greens and very dark blue-based greens. Her legs are nearly a black green and the marking which looks like a stream that a tear drop may have passed over beneath her eye is even closer to black in color. Her tail is also a dark green. Personality:Gentle, sweet, skittish, paranoid, gives in easily to her rider, dependent, easily embarrassed, will always make things bigger than they are, a worrier, wants to explore but too afraid to do it on her own, loving and affectionate to her rider, always tries to appear to be one step ahead of everything (causing her to worry more) Mind-Voice:They are probably going to try to hurt us mine! Please... Let's go over there, please, please, please, please....?When she is nervous, Orath's voice will have a stutter to it. She has a tendency to repeat herself when she is upset. Her voice is typically rather jittery, though its over all tone is melodic and rather soft. Why:Keegan you are afraid and so am I. You know how to trust and not trust. You can teach me and I want to try to teach you too. We will be a great team, facing down those who are so untrustworthy at all times. After all, we can't trust the world.

The Glass Menagerie Green passed her by like so many others and Sari watched it go. Though her shoulders shrugged with indifference, her heart ached. Being rejected, ignored or disapproved of was not easy for her when she felt there was no cause for it. Having all the young dragonets reject her as Theirs hurt every time. Well, almost every time. Some dragonets' rejections she was glad for.
Picking up one of her feet, she shook off the burning sand trying to cool it off. Then she repeated the hot dance with the other foot as she had been doing for quite some time now. Tugging her robe straight she held the worst of her wounds, which happened to be on her right forearm, with her left hand. The small trickle of blood dripped lightly upon her white robe, staining it with drops of crimson red.
Sari would not give up early. She was determined to see this hatching to its completion...even if it killed her.

"I hope so, R'as... I really hope so..." Xae took hold of one of R'as' hands with her free hand and held out another piece of meat for Moth who took it and chewed it slowly again. The pain in her wings was becoming less and the strain on Xae's face slowly diminished with it. "The numbweed really is starting to work..." she said softly. She let go of his hand to affectionately scratch Moth's eyeridges.
I hope so! Oh! We were having fun! She crooned at her brother happily and looked at him, perking up just a little bit.
"I think Virath just helped her feel a lot happier."
((I know... short... sorry...))

T'rian watched with wide eyes as a green and red dragonet appeared on the sands. He had never seen anything like it before, and wondered what it was. He didn't have to wonder for very long though, because he soon found that it was another King dragon, but from his understanding, only Bronzes were kings! He could feel Stallorth's confusion as well as his own, and wondered what on Pern was going on. I will be back...I'm gonna go have a...a chat with that young weyrling. T'rian didn't take his eyes off of the new weyrling pair as he spoke to Inali. He hugged her tightly to him before walking off towards where the young king pair had gone. He wasn't going to be mean to the young man or his dragon. He just wanted to talk to them, and maybe try to get some more information about the new color.
(((OOC: Sorry it's short, it's all I could come up with >.> )))

Keegan slammed his fist against the wall as he fumed his way back up to the stands to take hi original seat again. He'd tried taking andra off the sands but she'd refused to go. There was their family's stubborn streak. He could tell she was scared. But she wanted to see it through.
Keegan shoved himself into his seat without a word. Short of dragging his sister from the sands there was nothing else he could do. there was a commotion coming from the closest row. Of candidates. A girl was bitten when she tried to touch the large green female. Served the girl right for trying to touch one after everything that had already ha-
His musings stopped rather suddenly as the dragonet clawed her way into the stands and started to climb. Straight to D'rian, j'dol and himself. He scrambled up and would have kept over the back of the stands in his panic but d'rian's hand tangle on his jacket and kept him still. His bronze rider friend wore. Deadly serious look. And so he gulped and tried to make himself stand still and not cower in front of the large green as she stopped in front of him. Then he flared her wings and he gasped, trembling. As she spoke he felt anger and anxiety that was not his own.
"Oh franath...". He hit his rear hard as he fell back into his seat adjust ing to everything. He was impressed to... A dragon.. How had this happened?!
"O-orath? " his voice was shakeup and d'rian could do nothing but smile and push his friend back to his feet.
"she needs you k'gan. You can't leave her alone.".
He growled at d'rian. The sharding fool was enjoying this!!! Her voice inside his head caught his attention again. She needed him. He couldn't abandon her. Stretching out a trembling hand he scratched her eye ridges. She was such a sweet thing. She was scared and depending on him to take care of her.
". I ... I do love you orath... I just don't know if... If I will be a good partner to start with, but I promise I'll work it out for you..."he was terrified of course, but how could he hear her voice and feel her feelings and not want to do anything but love her and tell her all would be well

Watching its siblings hatch and impress, The Hopeless Truth Green knew it was the right thing to do. Hers was out there somewhere surely, she knew that to be a truth! Oh, and what lovely truths there were here to tell. The green wobbled unevenly on it's legs, the large eyes on its head blinking a bit astonished. It was just that this wrod was so confusing! Why did it have to be?!? Stomping her foot into the sand, the green plopped down onto the sands and snorted a heavy breath. Everyone wanted her to do what she was supposed to do...where was the fun in that though? Where was the truth in a simple thing like that? No, truth be told she wanted to play around, and run, and eat...and...oh bother. The green chirped sadly. What was she supposed to do again? Nudging her foot with her nose, she crooned. Funny thing feet, they were supposed to take you places yet how could they if you didn't know where to point them? Bubbling with questions, the green looked at her Obsidian sister who only snorted and led by example through walking along the remaining candidates. There were so few right now. The green's had to be there though....it just had to right? Keening, the green stumbled as it ran toward a female. Maybe this one wouldhelp her find Hers?!? Oh yes, yes! That is exactly what would happen! She would ask this one and then they would find Her's! Yay! Daria! Daria, you must help me find DariaMine! I dont know what Id do without her and Im sure something is wrong.... Running around in a circle the green ran off and then suddenly stopped as if she remembered something Oh and....MINE I FOUND YOU!!!...wait...where'd that other one go to? The green tilted her head for a moment and blinked her bid dinner plate eyes before shaking it back and forth. Nevermind, your Eyrieth has found you and that's the truth! Now let's go save my siblings from that nasty villain!Green Eyrieth Impressed to: Daria Pronunciation: Eye-wreath Rank: Green Size: 24.6 ft Color-codes: Body: 378a52Appearance:On the larger end of the Green's spectrum, Eyrieth is not a lithe little thing. She has muscle on her, and her limbs are shorter and stalkier. What she lacks in grace though, she makes up for in stamina. The girl will beat most blues when flying, simply because her wing muscles are that strong. As far as her hide's appearance goes, she isn't that intricate or even interesting to look at. Her coloring is that of a medium, mint green that's fresh and satin like in appearance. That's the one odd thing about her, for all the stalkier appearance and lack of grace *literally she will trip more than just a few times once out of her shell*, she has a pretty sheen to her hide almost like someone lit her up on her inside. Personality: Eyrieth isn't the sharpest tool in the shed per say. She won't be the first one to get an answer right, and keeping her on track is going to take some work. However, she is dedicated. She wants to do things right, and she wants to be seen for something other than her mistakes. That's probably why she's convinced she's the superhero of the clutch. Damsel in distress? Eyrieth will be there to help. Besides this though, the green is always truthful and really is quite incapable of telling lies. If she tries, it will eat at her until she blurts out the truth...normally at the most inopportune moments. She also finds it her personal crusade to uncover everyone's secrets. Voice:Oh and....MINE I FOUND YOU!!!...wait...where'd that other one go to?Similar to her hide, Eyrieth's voice is rich and feminine, having much the same tone as a Harper while telling stories. There's always something to be heard from Eyrieth it seems, and her voice easily changes in pitch and emotion. It's the kind of voice that people like to listen to, it just never seems to get boring. Why:The final thing that decided it was when you went to help my sister Mine. I needed to find that you had it in you to seek the truth no matter what, to see what was in others when they could not. After all, isn't that a good thing? I know you and I will have trouble, and maybe I won't be exactly the easiest one to deal with, but I will always try!

Daria was watching the other Hatchlings and eggs and completely missed the Green running around in a panic. When she finally noticed words pierced her thoughts.
Daria! Daria, you must help me find DariaMine! I dont know what Id do without her and Im sure something is wrong....
It was almost as if she was asking for help. Daria stepped forward to answer the Green's call. Then the Green turned to her and Daria stopped.
Oh and....MINE I FOUND YOU!!!...wait...where'd that other one go to? The Green paused and then spoke again. Nevermind, your Eyrieth has found you and that's the truth! Now let's go save my siblings from that nasty villain!
Daria allowed herself a small smile. Well wasn't that just dandy? She had gone against her normal personality and look what she got. A lovely little Green. "Hello Eyrieth. Yes your sister is a villain. Let's get you fed first though. And I don't want you taking her one either." Daria wasn't going to let herself become too attached, but Eyrieth was just so cute. Cute was not something Daria knew, but because of her concern for the White female she had Impressed this pretty Green.
In that respect Daria could allow herself to love Eyrieth a little bit. She was pretty and she was well worth the wait. Daria had expected to Stand a bit before Impressing if at all. "I have so many things to tell you Eyrieth. Maybe it will bring us closer?" She whispered these words so only her Green could hear.
I would like that Dariamine. I would like to know more about you.
Daria grinned and led her Green off the Sands. She Impressed and she was very surprised! With the way she behaved Daria was very unsure if she would Impress at all. Well it was always best to be surprised. And Eyrieth was definitely a surprise.

Z'on nodded. A'rin seemed wise beyond his years as he spoke, still keeping up a stream of raw meat going down his dragon's throat. Suddenly Z'on stopped. "A Garnet asked you to keep him in check? That's amazing..." He shook his head. All he had ever heard about Garnets was that they were evil, bloodthirsty creatures... well, Odilyth could give them a run for their money, and maybe they were changing, since Zekieth didn't want to be bloodthirsty. Z'on shook his head again. Yes, she could be trained... and then A'rin seemed to be scolding him, and Z'on looked away. How could he possibly show her love? But then... she was rather beaitiful... and she had chosen him. Why, he had no idea, but she had, which meant they had to love each other. That's what Impression did.
He gently ran his fingers across Odilyth's eye ridges, scratching them. She hummed lightly, but her eyes were still red with hunger, so he obliged her with another hunk of meat, and then another, before responding to A'rin. "You're right. I'll never forget, that's for sure, and I'll make sure she never forgets, either."
