(Ooc: I didn't know when exactly I'd be home tomorrow...so I decided to just post this today. Feel free to have your charries come and oogle at the eggs....but only once Cro has posted her eggs.) No place was good enough! No place in this whole Weyr was perfect! Hissing, Aries bent around again and started gliding down through the kitchens. No, this was warm, but it wasn't perfect. She needed a place that was going to be memerable. One that everyone would walk by and admire her and her beautiful clutch! Trilling, the gold flit curved around the corner and started in on the baths. No, no, no! Why couldn't she find the perfect place? The firelizard was tiring, after all it wasn't an easy feat to fly around with eggs in you. Flapping her wings again, the gold went down the middle of the Weyr. At the very bottom, where corridors branched off into different directions. The place was so frequented, but no one stopped to really look at the place. It was large enough to fit a crowd, and warm being in the middle of everything. A cool draft came through from one side though that led outdoors. That wasn't what seemed so magnificent about the place however. What was perfect in Aries' eyes was a carving that circled the "room". The walls were impossibly high, but maybe at the level of a child, there was a mural of sorts carved into the stone. It started at one end with the beginning of Trelis' history. People content in their homes until Thread started to fall. Then it showed the Weyrs meeting, Greet statues carved out of the rock of Golds and Bronze dragons, their riders at their feet. Then there was them going backwards in time and a little statue of The Island. On and on it went around the Gold firelizard. When it got to the part where it showed the first clutch laid at Trelis, Aries went over. The carving of the Hatching Sands was large enough for her as well! After all, where the gold dragon should be, only some crumbling remains stayed. The eggs weren't in much better shape either. Curling up in the space, the gold trilled happily. It took an hour or two, but her eggs finally did come. First was a smaller egg, then another and another. All the way until she had laid sixteen eggs. She was proud of her children! In the clutch of eggs, some were smaller, some tiny in fact. Others were larger. Two though stood out from the bunch. How silly that seemed right? Was there a pattern with two eggs that stood out in Trelis' clutches? Nevermind though, Aries chirped and nuzzled one egg off to the side a bit. Yes, it was a Gold egg, shining brilliantly in the light. It was small for a Gold egg though, but that didn't matter since it still held a Queen. The other egg was larger than it amazingly, and was lumpy as if it couldn't decide on its shape. That one had no gleam, and Aries treated it no differently than the rest of the clutch.. Why should she? She had a Gold egg, and if she was going to give extra attention to a child, it would be that one! Aries wasn't done yet though with her plans. Oh no, she wanted this to be big! Looking at the room left, the Gold chirped happily. Yes, there was plenty more room here. It would be nice of course to just use that room to spread herself out, but that wasn't her plan. Nope, there was enough room to hold a bronze and still have some extra....or two little greens and their eggs! Reaching out to Dot and Cot's minds, the Queen summoned the twins to her. The egg heavy sisters would come here and clutch! That would be a sight that would amaze the Weyr! That was the final touch to her perfection. ____________________________________________________ Aries' Clutch....Where Dreams Come True! 1) The Littlest Dwarf Egg 2) The White Rabbit Egg 3) Kiss The Girl Egg 4) Off With Her Head Egg 5) The Sword in the Stone Egg 6) The Wicked Step Mother Egg 7) Hukuna, Matata Egg 8) Under The Sea Egg 9) I Just Can’t Wait To Be King Egg 10) Bipidy, Bopedy, Boo Egg 11) The 40 Thieves Egg Egg 12) Blue Catapillar Egg 13) A King’s Devotion Egg 14) The Hunchback of Notre Dame 15) Extra Large Egg------>Beauty and the Beast Egg 16) Up in a Tower Egg<------Queen Egg

((OOC: >.> I'll finish up C&D's flight post haste))
His Queen. Jax had spent all this time lavishing his attentions fully on the Golden flit which he had flown and taken for his own. He shadowed her every movements; luckily for him she enjoyed being spoiled—otherwise he might have found himself run off or worse. Food stolen from the kitchen; even glasses of sweet nectar: There was nothing he would not do for his Queen—as he did now. He was her shadow as she flew down deep into the caverns seeking a place to clutch; somewhere safe away from the bustle of the Weyr. She chose well. The rooms were off the beaten path and housed many things that Jax himself could perch upon to stare at his domain. When she settled in to release her heavy burden he stood watch all those hours at the entrance; towering above anyone who would enter and ready to run them off with wingsails and claws. Of course no one came; no one would be that silly.
When Aries was finish he returned to her; settling a small distance away upon another piece of the two-legger’s creations. He became statuesque and proud. This was his first clutch sired for Trelis; and oh how special it would be. He started to hum quietly to himself until a glowering look from his Queen hushed him—they weren’t hatching yet, idot! He snorted. Females.
* * *
Cot and Dot were out in the warm sun; their egg-heavy bodies even more apparent due to their small size. The warm was a luxurious blanket across their green hides. The Gold Queen’s mind brushed theirs. Dot was up and moving before she even realized how deep that compulsion ran; taking to the sky gamely if cumbersomely. Cot, on the other hand, was furious. How dare she be treated in such an unQueenly manner? She could choose to nest wherever she pleased…couldn’t she? Her small mind whirled with consideration—her own self-belief giving her the chance to disobey the true Queen, but before she could make good on that freedom and lose her eggs to the wilds Jax was with her. Pressing his will onto her mind as fairmate. This Gold Queen might not mean anything to Cot, but the large Bronze firelizard was certainly her King. Reluctantly she answered his call.
By the time Cot arrived down into the caverns, Dot had already chosen the choicest spot: Nearest to the Gold as she dared. It was warmer, and her eggs would certainly be looked at more frequently as they sat near that large Golden clutch. Cot snorted with contempt and set off to choose a spot a far from those two as she could—only to be scolded back into obedience by Jax. With a flurry of angry chitters she settled down beside Dot and also began the process of clutching.
* * *
Cot and Dot are clutching in the lower caverns while Jax guards, Naira. The Gold Aries has already completed her duty.
The Whiterider smiled brilliantly at her Seth. Wonder which of the little darlings will choose to join us this time? the though speaking was effortless to her at this point; though it had taken getting used to when she first Impressed the multi-hued dragon who stood ready for her on the ledge. A he always was. Seth never wasted a moment for the luxury of relax; whereas Naira spent entirely too much time relaxing—when she wasn’t busy. Luckily she didn’t have many reasons to be busy these days: Which meant the Weyr wasn’t injuring its Dragonriders often. On all accounts it sounded like a small vacation to the Dragonhealer.
She made herself presentable—perhaps moreso than was necessary, but she was the newcomer: Not only was she the newcomer but three of her own flits would be present at this hatching, two as mothers and one as the father. She felt a distinct sense of pride at that. She knew Jax was rolling around in it as well; quite happy with himself. As long as this clutched threw a Queen egg the Bronze would know no blow to his pride. She certainly wasn’t going to embarrass him by showing up to his own clutching looking like a serving woman. Will you be trying to stuff yourself down into the caverns for a look, love?
She heard the White’s wingsails shuffle as he gave it a brief thought, and then his warm voice filled her mind—filling her heart with love.
Perhaps. You will show me where they have chosen to clutch. I shall come if I can fit.
She smiled brightly arranging the leathers she wore across her torso. The finest that the tanner had, dyed an irrefutable black. Her trousers and boots had been similarly dyed to match and paired with her fair complexion and white hair—well she was always quite the sight astride Seth. As she liked it; as did he—though he would never admit it. With a happy bounce she trotted away from the reflective metal and through Seth’s sleeping area; passing his stone couch she strode out onto the Weyrledge and drew beside him; her long nimble fingers teasing their way up his wingmembranes until she stood against his shoulder.
They did good by us, giving us one of the highest weyrs. I know you enjoy your view, my love; though you’d never admit to the pleasure of it.
In response the White only snorted and turned to affectionately nuzzle his Rider’s hair. She laughed and threw her arms around his lower neck; hugging herself tightly to him before giving him a few affectionate thumps. Her mount was graceful—and sudden; because the two only had to think to do. Seth tilted his shoulder and she was astride him; without straps for this easy jaunt across the Bowl—though he’d never dismounted her once. Wingsails wide to catch the warm thermals radiating from the ground below he fell from the ledge—only to appear scant inches above the ground outside of the entrance to the caverns. Naira slide from his shoulder and stepped away; the White blinking out of existence behind her to reappear above his ledge.
You must be careful of when you do that, love; Trelis has recently had a hatching: You wouldn’t want to impart any of your dangerous habits onto the Weyrlings.
Hardly dangerous. I always know where and when I am. I am always careful.
The Dragonhealer shook her head as she strode into the dim corridors; her eyes adjusting as she made her way down, her bootheels clicking on the worn stone. Lower and lower; she snagged up a glowbasket and carried it with her—following the tendrils of Jax, Cot, and Dot. By the time she arrived the Green’s had finished clutching; their eggs far fewer than the Gold. Naira moved into the open cavern and over to where the Green’s lay; Jax gave her a warbling salutation—but did not abandon his post. Ah, tiny little Green clutches; good for their first—and beautiful. Dot chirruped happily and moved away from her eggs only to sit and trill toward Naira—Haven’t I done such a wonderful job? Cot was meanwhile grumbling about being bothered—Jax’s admonishments were quick and to the point. Naira gave an appreciative smile to the Bronze and then checked on the larger Green’s clutch as well. Lovely. She then went to the Golden Queen, assuring the beauty was well and done clutching—and not suffering anything herself. Healthy again. Three lovely mothers with three lovely clutches. Not a one egg-bound, not a one still losing ichor.
Little Dot had thrown two; though one was quite large and ruddy red. Cot had thrown four. Lovely. The two Green's were well on their way to populating Trelis all on their own; with the help of the Browns who had flown them.
Tell the Weyr, Seth. It is safe enough for them to see the clutches
She felt the White deny her for a moment; but knew the reason as well as she knew her own heart. She spun agily on her heel—her eyes scanning the entirety of the cavern they were in. The sound of his coming into existence was the faintest of whispers, but here it echoed back into a soft warbling pop. So here he was, the White guardian of the firelizards; beloved by all. She thumped his shoulder before he went to stretch out in front of the carvings upon which the mother’s had clutched. None would be able to get to those eggs and disturb them—or steal them. Jax, Cot, and Dot warbled their own greetings to the White, and Naira smiled. Hopefully their services would not be required. She settled in against the wall across from them—not wishing to detract from the image of the guardian and his charges.
Trelis; there sit inside the caverns three clutches. Gold Aries, and Green's Cot and Dot. Come.

She had always known caring for a dragon would be a lot of work when she finally Impressed. She wasn't exactly surprised at how much time went into caring for Ferrth, but Hirion still found herself wishing she got more time to herself nowadays. Not that she would have traded the blue for anything now that she had him. A goofy grin came to her face just thinking about him.
Now that Ferrth was full, clean, and sleeping in the weyrling barracks, Hirion finally had that time to herself, though she was tired enough that she was considering taking a nap herself. She shook her head, though; she had been wishing for some time off and she wasn't going to squander it on something insignificant like sleep.
The bluerider walked through the lower caverns, Banshee curled up on her shoulder, and thought about heading to the kitchens to get a snack--but then the voice of Seth entered her head, announcing the clutches of the gold and green fire lizards. She just about clapped her hands in excitement. Fire lizard eggs! She liked Banshee well enough, but she certainly wouldn't mind a few more. If the thought that fire lizard hatchlings took a lot of work and she was already exhausted caring for Ferrth crossed her mind, it didn't stay there for long. Some things just had to be learned the hard way.
It didn't take Hirion long to find the clutches. Deep down in a room in the middle of the Weyr, they were laid in an area that was visited a lot, and Hirion remembered the carvings that lined the wall in here. She had often enjoyed looking at them when she was younger, though over time they had lost her interest and she began looking right past them when she came here. That was no longer possible. Hirion giggled when she saw where the queen had laid her clutch.
"You're a clever fire lizard to have found this place, aren't you?" Hirion said with a grin. Banshee slunk around on her shoulder, half-hiding in the girl's hair. The green wasn't sure if the clutchmothers would be happy with another green near the clutches, but she clearly wasn't going to take any chances.
There was not only the gold's clutch, but two green fire lizards, one a lot smaller than the other, both sat with a clutch as well, clearly having laid their own eggs here as well. Hirion wondered when the eggs would hatch and hoped she would be able to come by when they did. She certainly wouldn't mind a new pet...or two.

Little brown brother is causing trouble in the kitchens again Mine.
The deep rumbling voice of his companion entered his Riders mind, rousing the dark haired man from his afternoon nap. With a wide yawn S’val stretched, scratching his back against the rough back of the tree he had been resting against. Shielding his eyes from the glare of the midday sun, he glanced around till his gaze settled on the large bronze dragon swimming smoothly across the surface of the lake. I’m beginning to think that little flitter will always be a troublemaker. Almost reminds me of you when you were a hatchling Sol. The bronze snorted in response as he pulled himself from the water, wings stretched as the warm sun started to dry his hide. Stretching out in the tall grasses Solarith closed his eyes, simply enjoying this time alone with His. That is till another’s voice broke into his mind. Now normally the bronze would be a bit agitated with being intruded upon like so but after listening to the White Seth’s message he relaxed and turned to his Rider.
S’valMine, there have been three clutches laid this day. The gold Aries and two little greens should you wish to pay them a visit. I believe little brown brother may have flown one of the three. With a grunt S’val pushed himself to his feet, stretching once more as he lazily strode over to his lounging dragon. “Well in that case we most definitely need to pay a visit. Who knows, we might get another little companion or two. You know you’d like the little extra company.” Vaulting up his dragons neck, S’val patted the bronze hide with a rough affection before Solarith spread his impressive wingspan and with a single fell of his wings sent the duo rocketing into the blue sky and on their way back to the Weyr.
It didn’t take long for S’val to find the hidden firelizard clutch as they had already drawn a few spectators. Stopping in the doorway the Wingleader peeked his head in the dimly lit room till his gaze settled on the three clutches. The combination of the three clutches was quite a large number of eggs, from his vantage point his was guessing around twentyish. Not bad for a young gold and two greens.
The Rider made a metal note to pay extra attention to his brown for the next few days, determination already setting in that he was going to go home with at least one of the little hatchlings.

J’dolMiiine Kayath spoke with a singsong voice as she paced restlessly in their barracks room, an activity she had taken up the past few days. I am bored, and I am soo lonely! Why does no one come to visit me! Am I not splendid enough? She ruffled her wings in agitation, turning on the spot to pace in the other direction. J’dol merely chuckled from where he was sitting against the wall, taking a rest after the time spent bathing the already large dragonet. He could already tell free time would be nothing but a fleeting memory by the time the Topaz was half-grown. Assuming, of course, that the topaz would expand in size like the normal colours. Of course I will, Mine! I am not some horrid beast, after all. I am a perfect- Kayath and her rider both paused as they listed to the sound of Seth’s voice.
“Hear that princess? Do you want a new pet?” Bit huffed at Jaks for the idea, though she wouldn’t have minded having a new friend to play with, since her large cousin thought herself to high and mighty to play with flits. He stood up and stretched the kinks from his muscles as he waited for Kayath to mull over the thought. I think I would like one yes. However… She stopped her pacing, too lost in thought to continue the movement, I only want a male. Someone who will fawn over me as I rightfully deserve! She snorted in Bit’s direction. The little green had, in J’dol’s opinion, been a bit helpful when it came to cleaning and oiling Kayath’s hide, though the green didn’t seem to be too fond of it. Another lizard could, at least, be handy to have as Kayath grew. He could feel Bit’s annoyance at the thought of being replaced, though she landed on his shoulder to accompany him regardless.
“Alright dear heart,” J’dol grinned with a quick scratch to the topaz’s eye ridge, “I’ll go check it out.” He left his barrack room and headed to the caverns like many others. Entering the room, he glanced first at the others gathered in the room, grinning at each person in greeting, before moving on to the queen and the two greens.
“What beauties you all are,” he complimented as he neared, hoping to get a good look at the eggs. He didn't particularly care about impressing another flit, though he wouldn't argue if he did. Bit cheeped at the mothers as well, though she kept close to J’dol’s neck. She knew as well as any female that she needed to be wary of clutching mothers.
U’wa yawned as he woke from his nap, rolling over and nearly falling from his bed in the process. Like the other weyrlings, he was learning just how much work was involved in taking care of the quickly growing hatchlings. Rubbing the sleep from his eyes, he glanced fondly at Peniath as the green twitched in her sleep. After a good meal and an oiling, the young dragonet had been more than happy to call it a day and rest. As he watched, she suddenly lifted her head and U’wa felt not one, but two minds reach for his. The first was from an unknown source and mentioned something about clutches.
Oh! OH Mine! Did you hear? You should go look at the eggs! You want one don’t you? I want one, so you’ll go get one right? U’wa gulped nervously at the green’s voice. He already had her, and Fari, wouldn’t trying to get another one just be… greedy? If you love me, you will try for one, won’t you? You do love me, don’t you? Fari, who was nestled into her basket like usual, cheeped her agreement at the idea of another hatchling around. It was as if the huntyre was saying ‘bring me another young one to watch over’. U’wa nodded, not wanting to speak, though from the feeling of love emanating from the green, and the happy twitter from the Forest, it was obvious the creatures knew they had won. U’wa struggled out of bed, straightening out his clothing before heading for the door, albeit slowly. Another nudge from the green sent him out of the room a tad faster. He hurried down the hall, head held low to avoid eye contact with anyone else as he made his way to the caverns. Fari flew along behind him, wanting to see the eggs as well, since she had not yet had the joy of clutching any live ones of her own.
He slowed as he neared the caverns until he reached the entrance. He didn’t enter, however, instead choosing to peer nervously around the doorway since there were already others in the room. His eyes first passed over the intricate carving in the room, feeling momentarily awestruck by its splendor. He noticed then the fire lizards and quite a large number of eggs that obviously had come from all three of them. Maybe there would be enough for him to impress one after everyone else had... maybe… if no one minded. Deep down he wished his sister would come by and get lucky enough to impress one. Faranth knew she deserved it more than he did…
Fari couldn’t handle the excitement anymore and fluttered gleefully into the room, chirping congratulatory sounds at the new mothers.
“F-F-Fari…” U’wa mumbled from his ‘hiding spot’, “D-don’t… bug them…”
“Well done, Apprentice,” the healer complimented Yufa as he looked over the bandages she had just finished wrapping around a young boy’s arm. He moved on to his leg next, a much smaller injury requiring only a quick cleaning and some numbweed. The healer looked it over, nodded to Yufa in approval, then waved her dismissal for the day. She bowed curtly, thanking her master for the lesson before removing herself from the infirmary, and not a moment too soon! She jumped as an unknown voice entered her head. Never before had a dragon spoken to her, and she found the experience to be quite exhillerating! So there was a clutch of fire lizard eggs nearby?
The thought reminded her of the recent failure she had faced at Queen Loraketh’s clutch. She grimaced, mentally though, as she had been trained to always portray a cheerful, but otherwise emotionless face. The expression itself was now as natural to her as breathing. She pondered the idea of the clutch as she walked delicately away from the infirmary. Her dear brother, weak as he was, had managed to impress one of the local huntyres, so why shouldn’t she be able to impress a fire lizard? She turned towards the caverns, deciding at least to give her respects to the clutchmothers.
Entering the cavern, she was first awed by the majestic carvings that told of the weyr’s history. She dipped her head in reverence, giving silence for the weyrfolk of Trelis’ past. Opening her eyes again, she stepped carefully towards Aries, Cot and Dot. Reaching a proper distance from them, she lifted her skirt in a dainty and respectful curtsy.
“Salutations, little ladies.” She spoke calmly, as she glanced discretely at the various eggs laid by the three flits. Quite impressive clutches, in her opinion, though she had never seen any others. “Your eggs are marvelous, you should be proud.” She backed away to a respectable distance before turning and leaving the cavern.

Bucket after bucket the dark hued hatchling almost inhaled the offered meat as quickly as R’xth could offer it. “Slow down Mideth, the food’s not going anywhere.” Bloody maw and all the growing hatchling spared his future Rider a fleeting glance before ducking to gobble another hunk of flesh. Gripping the bucket, Ry was about to bolt across the baths when anothers voice intruded on the pairs conversation. Firelizards? Truthfully, Ry had no intention of adopting a mini dragon or two. To him all they caused was trouble. Sparing a glance at the wrist to elbow scar he received from a flit not even a year ago, the lad sighed and patted the dark dragonet beside him. The blue hatchling crooned in reassurance for His.
We are strong, Mine. Just you and me. Though you should greet and congratulate the little queen.
Mumbling something incoherent, R’xth grabbed the empty bucket with his good arm and put it away, wiping Mideth’s maw clean before leading the blue back to their barracks. “Only since you insist. I’ll be nice and pay a visit, but I won’t linger…” Leading the blue over to his stone bed and making sure he was settled and close to drifting off to sleep, Ry slipped from the room and wandered his way towards the firelizards clutch. Nudging his way past other spectators, R’xth looked in at the eggs and the three clutch mothers. He had to admit, it was quite a sight. Leaning in the doorway, he looked over the vast differences in size and color amongst the eggs and quietly wondered how they could each harbor the colors they all knew today, when the shell coloration hardly ever gave away what the creature inside would look like.

R'hard was lounging in the room he shared with two other weyrlings with Kaith when he heard the white Seth's announcement. He looked at Kaith with a grin on his face. "What do you think, Kaith? Should we get another fire lizard to keep Hari company?"
Hari looked up when he heard his name, but hissed derisively and settled down. He wasn't the outgoing sort; why would he want another flitter hanging around his human?
Kaith, on the other hand...Another flit would be interesting. I suppose the washing and oiling of my hide would go that much faster with another pair of claws to help, huh? You can go see the clutch; I'll stay here, though. You can tell me about it when you get back.
"Alright, then," R'hard said with a laugh. With neither flit nor dragon budging, it looked like he was on his own for the time being.
It didn't take him long to find the clutch, and he oohed and aahed over them with the rest of the spectators. He definitely planned to attract one of them to him when they hatched; hopefully, he thought with a wry grin, it would be something other than a brown.

AraMine! Umm...AraMine! You may want to know that Aries has clutched Mine. "WHAT! You tell me now Avirith?!? Now?!?" The greenrider tossed aside the riding gear she had been fixing and quickly pulled some shoes on. She had wondered where the gold had gone off to, but Ara had believed Aries to only be with her champion. No of course that couldn't be it though! She had to go sharding clutch. So, this was what Inali felt like when Loraketh had let her eggs go finally? OH! Tell Inali if she doesn't already now Avi. After all, her friend would want to know about this. She was their when Aries first hatched, so this would be like coming full circle.
The green sent out the message to Loraketh quickly and then headed over to meet Hers. They had taken their work outside to the river that day as they often did on days like this. Mounting the pale green neck, Ara gave the signal to between back to the Weyr. From there finding the eggs wasn't too difficult. She knew the place that Aries had clutched. In fact she probably was the reason she clutched there. The greenrider had often come to play in that room as a child and still went there to think and sit quietly in a corner.
The crowd was terrible to get through, worse than she'd seen in a while even and Ara faught to reach her firelizard. Once there though, the rider beamed down at the Gold. "You've done beautifully Aries!" Serveying the eggs, Ara counted them all including the two greens' eggs. Among Aries' though was a gold egg, and Ara was fixated on that. Even the larger normal egg seemed unimportant. It would probably hatch bronze, this however would hatch a Queen.
-----
Inali listened as first Seth's call then her own dragon's came through. You should go My Lady. Inali nodded in agreement and headed down to see the eggs herself. She didn't expect to get one, after all she had Pepper who was now flying behind her. However, she did like that there would be another clutch in the Weyr. That was good. The crowd was larger than she thought it would be so soon, but that wasn't bad either. This clutch at least wouldn't be wanting of candidates.
Ara was nearby her Queen of course, and Inali smiled as she waved hello. "How is she?" The Weyrwoman asked quietly as not to disturb the now sleeping gold as she looked at the eggs from all three clutches. Ara answered in a happy fine, and then pointed to the gold egg. A bit of jealousy ran through Inali then, an odd sensation. She so wanted to have Loraketh clutch Gold. Though the new color had been a nice surprise. Or at least nice in Kayath and Talath's cases. Emiath...was yet to be seen.
-----
N'kron stopped oiling his dragon's hide while he listened to the announcement. So some flits had clutched? Looking at the jungle cat marked brown, the weyrling decided to go and look. He didn't need the brown's approval out loud he could feel the wanting in his mind. Besides, just looking wasn't bad was it? Yawning as he went down the stairs, Ildardeth followed His closely. The brown stayed in the shadows a silent movement behind the boy. Even when they had arrived the two stayed in the back and watched the other weyrfolk look at the newest clutches. There were definitely enough to share for everyone here and more.
-----
"Mommy! Mommy! Seth says there are flitters!" The little 4 turn old pulled at the skirts around Kierah's waist. Smiling down at her daughter she pulled the growing child into her arms and kissed her forehead. "Yes he does little one. Call Chime for me and I'll get Symphony and Tenor." Doing as she was told, Leotie signalled for her mother's green. In all honesty Kierah knew Chime-Bell was as much her daughter's as she was her own. That was even showed in the loving nuzzle the green gave the little girl as she popped in from between followed by the white and brown flits. Together, the quintet headed out from their weyr in the lowercaves to the room where the crowd had gathered around the flit eggs.
-------
Rin tossed and turned, obvioulsy bothered by something. However, the handler didn't wake. After all this was his night time and he was awefully tired lately. In his cave, Mavrisk listened to the call sleepily before falling back into darkness. He'd tell His when they got up that night.
------
Similarly Abby was in bed, finally able to sleep now that she had a day off. The sound of Seth's voice woke her though as did Dusk's chatter. Grunting, the tomboyish wher candidate got up and pulled herself toward the door and then out toward the crowd. Shards and shells, I've seen it now I'm good! Back to bed.

T'rian was already walking through the caverns when he heard the news that three firelizards had laid their clutches. He smiled and made his way to the clutches, wondering how his dragon and huntyre would react to having a firelizard join their ranks. I think it would be interesting T'rianMine. The strong, calm voice of his dragon made the man smile, and make up his mind. He was going to try to impress of the little flitters that everyone seemed to love so much. T'rian made his way to the clutches, and looked at all the eggs that had been clutched. He smiled and reached out to touch the eggs, and wondered what was going to come from them. He noticed that there was a gold egg there, and wondered who the flit would impress, hoping that it wasn't going to be himself. He smiled and nodded to the three firelizards, silently congratulating them on their eggs.
