That above picture is a sketchy look at the outside of the Weyr. The higher green dots are where the Higher Wings are found. The orange dots near the Hatching sands however, are where the Record rooms, Weyrwomen's quarters, and the Weyrleader's quarters and all of the meeting rooms are located. In the next layer of greendots, you have the Middle Wings and the weyrs of the Weyrlings that have started to fly and are too big for the barracks. Golds and Sub-Queens move into the Higher Levels often a month or two before graduation to get used to the new living space. The lowest level of green dots is for the Lower Wings. On more of a ground level not shown is where weyrfolk and commonly occupied areas like bathing caverns and infirmary are located. The lowest level is also where the candidate barracks are, and have more storage rooms as well as the kitchens. The Red dots are where the younger weyrlings live before they start to fly.
The Hatching sands is off to the side near the candidate barracks, but there is a stairwell that leads down from the other levels to it as well, the topmost part of the stairwell is found in the Senior Weyrwoman's quarters. The Hatching Sands are mainly inside of the Weyr, but there is a bit that is shown by an opening in the rock, that's where you see the yellow spot. The bit of blue you see at the top is the Trelis River. It branches off around the Weyr, but also dips into the Bowl itself. There it collects and has been drawn out into underground rivers to where it warms in the batching pools, coming up in pockets of hot springs. The fenced in green area in the corner is where the feeding grounds are located.
