Loba sighed, and snuggled closer to whatever it was she was laying next to. She was too tired to open her eyes and look. All she knew was it was big, and warm. There was a soft smile on her lips as she attempted to nuzzle her head closer. Little did she realize she was actally snuggling, and nuzzling closer to Dakor. It was about nine at night, and thankfully there was no rain. This being that the two of them were lying inthe grasslands after Loba's wher's mating run. Loba shivered when she felt the cool breeze of the night air, and tried once again to get closer to Dakor.

Dakor grumbled in his sleep and shifted a bit as a shiver snaked its way up its spine. He was cold but only half on his body was chilled. Why was this? Had he kicked his furs off his bed yet again? Another sleepy mumbled but this time he felt something shift against him. Still though he refused to open his eyes, the draw of sleep was just too inviting. There it was again, a soft nuzzling into his side and below his chin. It tickled him; it must have been her hair and it drew a soft smile to his face.
Eventually his eyes slowly slid open, one and then the other, blinking to adjust to the dark of the night. At first he was confused, shocked even. True this wasn’t the first time he had woken up stark naked outside the weyr but it still wasn’t a common practice. That’s when he looked to his left, to the still sleeping Loba, and the events from last came rushing back to him, bringing a tired smile to his face. Another shiver wracked his body and he quickly remembered what had awoken him in the first place. Carefully, gently, he untangled himself from his lovely companion and after locating his trousers, Dakor quickly pulled the piece of clothing on and laid back down in the grass beside her and covered her sleeping form with his jacket. It wasn’t much but he hoped it would at least help to keep the night chill away. So far Trelis was turning out not to be such a bad place after all.

Loba grumbled sleepily when she felt movement beside her. She stretched sleepily, and then lazily drifted back to sleep. That is, until she felt something covering her. She yawned, and slowly blinked her eyes open. She wasn't quite sure what she was looking at, until her memories started coming back to her. She smiled sleepily, and looked up at his face. She could feel her cheeks start to redden, so she looked away again.
Good evening. Her voice was soft, and sweet as she spoke. She sat up slowly, and looked around for her own cloths. A small scoul graced her lips when she couldn't see anything from where she was sitting. She wrapped Dakor's jacket more tightly around her, and stood up slowly. She was shivering, and had goose bumps on her skin. Never again, never again. She was never going to bring Lobask out to the middle of nowhere when she was supposed to run.

Dakor had been lost in thought, his gaze fixed on the moon, and hadn’t noticed her wake till her sleep filled voice filled his ears. He smiled lightly and glanced over at her, easily noticing how quickly her cheeks reddened and how she was unable to hold his gaze very long. He wouldn’t blame her though, no, there was no need. She was a shy girl so it was to be expected. “Evenin’,” he replied, propping himself to a sitting position and stretching the stiffness from his back. A groan sounded from him and for a moment his features contorted in a brief moment in pain until he reached beneath him and produced a good sized rock. He scowled at the jagged object before tossing it somewhere out in the darkness and rubbed gingerly at his lower back.
He spared a glance back to Loba and notice she seemed to be on the search for her own clothes. “Ah..I think I may have spotted them ah…over there.” Grinning slyly, he pointed off to the right where a small shrub could been seen with pieces of clothing stuck to it. Pushing himself to his feet he wandered around himself till he located and pulled on each of his boots. “Think we should be heading on back now, don’t you? C’mon, it’s cold out tonight, let me walk you back.” Dakor kept his head titled to the sky and his back to her as he spoke, just to be polite and give her a little bit of privacy once she located her clothes and began to dress.

Loba looked where Dakor had indicated, and smiled shyly. Thank you. She ran over to where the clothes were on the bush, and was relieved when they turned out to be her shirt, and undergarments. Now all she had to do was find her skirt. That would come after she dressed. So, she quickly slipped into her clothes, and shivered when she found out just how cold her clothes had became over night. She was definitely going to make sure that never happened again.
Loba sighed, and mumbled to herself about her skirt until she finally found them with a rock on top of them. How did that get there? Oh well. She shrugged her shoulders and quickly slipped into her skirt. She was never going to go out on cold nights without pants again! She was glad she hadn't worn any jewelry, she was scared to see just how could something other than cloth could be when it was left outside, for two nights in a row, while it's owner was "busy".
Loba turned back to Dakor when she was finally fully dressed, and walked over to him shyly. Here, sorry. She didn't look up as she handed him his jacket back. It was still pretty cold, but since it wasn't hers to keep, she had to return it. Thank you Dakor, you're very kind. She smiled shyly, and could feel her cheeks start to redden again. He was a lot nicer than she had originally thought he would be when he was full of wher lust.

His gaze dropped from the sky as she stepped up to him, his own jacket in hand and stretched out for him to take. Was he really being that overly nice? He frowned mentally at the thought and cocked an eyebrow at her. Honestly he didn’t think so anyways. With a mental shrug he lightly shook his head and instead of taking his jacket back, Dakor simply stuck his hands in his pockets and started off at a lazy walk in the direction he vaguely remembered the weyr being. “Silly girl, it’s cold,” Dakor spoke with a teasing laugh to his voice. “Take it. Wear it till you’re back in the warmth at least.”
“I don’t know what sort of boys you’re used to here in Trelis but we’re raised as gentleman at Southern. Besides…” His voice cut out as he stumbled slightly over a dip in the earth. After regaining his balance, Dakor glanced back to make sure she wouldn’t make the same mistake and mentally prepared himself to catch her in case she fell. “..besides, you seem like a sweet girl. So why wouldn’t I be anything but nice when that wher of yours could easily reprimand if I wasn’t?”

Loba looked up at Dakor in confusion when he didn't take his jacket back. Did he not want it anymore? She followed behind him like a lost puppy, and nodded her head when he said it was cold out. She smiled sweetly and wrapped the warm jacket around her once again. Thank you Dakor. Her voice was soft and innocent, yet still fully of happiness. She had never met a male quite like him before, and she was pleasantly surprised by his kindness.
Loba raised her eye brow's in shock when he stumbled, and lightly hopped over the dip. She smiled happily as she landed back on both legs, safe and sound. She blushed, and turned her face away from him when he called her sweet. That was something she wasn't used to. She giggled softly when he spoke about Lobask "reprimanding" him. She could see it now, her green wher wagging her tail, and growling at the man. It was such a scary picture that she out right laughed at it. She shook her head, and took a deep breath to quell her laughter.
I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I highly doubt Lobask would reprimand a fly. Loba smiled fondly as she thought about her wher. She's too playful to be mean. The tiny green would probably just ask the man to play with her instead of ever considering being mad at him. She really was a strange creature, and from what Loba knew, wasn't like your average four foot long green wher. Either way, she loved the small creature, and was glad to keep her the way she was.

Dakor shot her a playful scowl after she laughed at his little trip up and pulled a hand out of his pocket to lightly nudge her. As if her laughing at him was the worst thing in the world. “Anytime, Loba. Don’t mention it.” So they continued on their way through the fields and the random patches of trees with him in the lead. Ah yes, with Dakor in the lead they could not go wrong! Hmm, maybe not. Perhaps it wasn’t the wisest idea to let the Southerner lead the Trelis woman back to her own Weyr. After all he didn’t claim to be the best at navigating.
The man chuckled lightly at the image of a playful green, it was an interesting thought really. “Yeah Dask is the same way. I’m hoping it’s something he grows out of because honestly…who takes a playful bronze seriously?” Dakor sighed and shoved his hands deeper into his pockets in an attempt to beat out the cold. “Would you?” He spared a sideways glance at her before his untied boot lace snagged on a rock and tripped him up once more. Only this time he wasn’t able to catch himself and with his hand trapped in his pockets he went down hard. With a grunt and a slew of swearing, the man rolled over on his back and remained in a grump on the grassy floor. He was tired, sore, and not to mention they were lost thanks to him. “Would now be a good time to mention that I had no idea which direction I was walking and have no idea how far we are from the weyr right now?” Yes it was clear he was annoyed with himself by the way he refused to meet her gaze, instead choosing to lay there till he got the energy and calmed himself enough to get up and begin their trek once again.

Loba looked around, and started to wonder if Dakor actually knew the way back to the Weyr. I don't think it's a bad thing to have a wher that doesn't conform to the stereo type of their color. It makes them unique. She had a far off look in her eyes as she spoke. She was glad Lobask wasn't like all the other greens. She was her own unique being. That's what she believed everyone should strive to be. They should strive to be unique.
Loba tilted her head to the side, when he spoke, then, he fell. She hid the giggle and smirk she felt at the site. Then she heard his words, and giggled softly. It might be. It's ok though, all we have to do is call the whers and they'll come take us back. She smiled shyly as she spoke. She could tell that he was pretty upset with himself. Oh well, she was actually having fun. Something that normally didn't happen when she was around other people.
