Andra sighed as she leaned against the edge of her new bed and looked around at the bare room. She was grateful for Trelis coming to their aid, but she missed Sollace. She was placed in the quarters reserved for the candidates and her brother was given a home near the runner corrals where he worked now.
She sat her bag on her bed and put the framed portrait of her mother and brother on her bedside table. What should she do? As a new candidate she'd had chores of course, but most of her chores were in the kitchens and aside from that she hadn't really explored the weyr.
She paced slowly around her room for a while, contemplating what to do. Boredom slowly took over and she peeked out of her doorway. What to do what to do?
