Name S’val
Pronunciation Se-VAL
Formerly Servaln (Sir-Val-en)
Age 26 Turns
Season Born in Summer
Gender Male
Sexuality Heterosexual
Appearance
6'2"
Dark Brown Hair
Deep Brown Eyes
It’s not an uncommon sight to see S’val dressed rather plainly. A simple white tunic covers his chest complimented by a dark pair of trousers and well kept riding boots complete his daily outfit. Though on the rare occasion you might catch him sporting the colors red and blue. On even rarer occasion, when formal wear is called for, he dons a black tunic with a light bronze trim, in honor of his life partner, with matching black slacks. Unlike most he doesn't keep a clean shaven look, preferring to sport the scruffy look on more then one occasion. Standing at roughly 6’2” with dark brown hair and even darker eyes, he’s got quite the imposing figure. A strong, confident aura follows him wherever he goes. A born leader and it shows in the passion of his gaze when instructing and mentoring those below him.
His frame isn’t overly muscular nor is it weak and untrained. He keeps a happy medium a nice toned body with a matching healthy tan. When he talks, his voice has a trace of a foreign accent, although he was raised in the Weyrs, but it carries the tone of a deep tenor. His voice can be a bit rough at times but its mainly smooth and relaxed, although he hasn’t a care in the world.
Personality Like there are two sides to every coin, so are there two side to S’val. Most of the time he’s calm, collected, and laid back. Presenting the image that he holds no cares in this world and everything will come to be as it should. Most of the time he can be found taking the world and his life all to lightly, putting on the aura that he’s unstoppable. To clarify that doesn’t make him foolish or hasty. He’s willing to put his life on the line for any and all the people he and his bonded help defend, especially those under his command. Though he treats everyone like a brother and comrade, as he should, no one comes close to his precious Solarith.
Bonded for life, S’val never thought he could care for another being as much as he loves his bronze companion. Though he would put his life on the line for any of the Weyr, he’s not foolish or overly daring. To put it simply he wouldn’t act out in any way that would purposely bring harm, weather maim or death, to his dear bonded.
Now when you flip that coin out comes the leader. Not overly strict, but S’val holds everyone equally accountable for each and every one of their actions. Lord help the poor soul who thinks he can be the hero when Thread is falling and in turn risks not only himself and his dragon but, in turn, the entire wing because S’val won’t hesitate to drag him down the Weyrling Barracks and let the Weyrling Master put the offender to work gathering firestone with the young candidates/weyrlings.

History S’val was the youngest of two. Born to a Brown Rider and a Master Healer, he had a pretty good life growing up. His father was always there for him, even at a young age, and his mother even managed to take her young son under her wing and teach him a few critical points to the craft of healing. Being the youngest by nine turns, allowed him the chance to soak up more of his mothers craft then his older brother and S’val took full advantage of that. Even managing to reach the lowly rank of Apprentice by the time he turned 14.
When he was 18, a large brown from the Weyr had managed to search him out, just like his brother before him. It really was no surprise that the boy was searched. He was just following in the proud footsteps of his father and brother. When he finally stood on those blazing hot sands in front of the clutch of 21, he felt his heart stop at least once. As time slipped by and every hatchling had managed to impress until it came down to only two eggs left and four candidates.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, both large eggs began to hatch at the same time. First a brightly colored gold struggled across the sands, looking desperately for Hers while the next egg broke and a beautiful bronze king waddled across the sands, crooning pathetically while trying to hold his wings up in an attempt to dry them. Feeling somewhat defeated as he watched the bronze struggle across the sands, the boy took a step back, thinking that since both his father and brother had impressed browns then it was his destiny to ride a brown as well.
As he turned from the two hatchlings, a cry tore from the little bronzes throat. It seemed like the gold didn’t approve of the bronze moving to impress first and used her new claws to swipe at the little Kings face. Instantly, S’val felt his heart break as he felt the bronze take the hit. Scrambling across the sands, he flung his arms around the hatchlings neck, using his tunic to help stem the flow of blood from the injury. He didn’t even realize at first that the little bronze was speaking his name and crooning softly in reassurance. He had Impressed, and a bronze of all colors too!
In the years that followed the two grew stronger through their bond and when the time came they volunteered to transfer to Trelis Weyr. With the hopes of meeting new people and having the opportunity to explore more places.

Dragon
Name Solarith
Pronunciation So-LAR-ith
Age 8 Turns
Type Dragon
Rank Bronze
Size 41 ft
Color
5D5E00

Appearance Solarith definitely was not the runt of his clutch as he stands a little taller then most of his bronze brothers. When looking at the boy it’s almost as though someone took great care in painting his hide while he was still in his egg. The base of his coloring is slightly darker then most others. Though what makes him unique is the lighter flecks splashed on his hindquarters, belly, and wings. It gives the appearance that the creature played in a puddle of bright bronze when he was a youngling, giving his hide an almost ‘streaked’ effect.
A strong pair of wings help keep him airborne while in the midst of battle or a simple lazy day to the beach. He keeps his claws sharp and always ready to use. A large scar stretches beneath his right eye to the corner of his razor filled mouth. A wound he received on his hatching day when a feisty young queen didn’t appreciate the young bronze waddling over to find His first.
Personality Confident and strong minded. He doesn’t take kindly to others neglecting the words of His or not paying him due attention. On the other hand though, Solarith can manage to set aside his duties and position every one in a while for a good scratch from His or an afternoon playing down at the ocean. That’s another thing about this bronze, he absolutely loves the water. There’s nothing better to do after a long day of training then diving into the crisp waters of the lake or laze about in the gentle waves of the warm ocean.
A unique quirk about Solarith is he actually enjoys the time he has to himself, away from His and the goings-on of the Weyr. It’s not uncommon to see the large bronze actually involving himself in the Weyrlings lessons. He finds it both interesting and rewarding to watch the recent hatchlings and their bonded grow ever closer as the days passed.
On most occasions, he is able to keep his temper even when S’val is having a go at another foolish rider. Though it has been documented on one occasion where the bronze literally blew up and it took all of S’vals strength and mental capacity to keep the bronze from possibly killing a younger green who stepped out of place with the large ‘King‘.
Mind Voice
Do you know who I am?[/b][/color]
It’s a deep, rough tenor, much like His. It has a calming, almost soothing effect to those privileged to hear it and can be quite charming and has the tendency to be somewhat mysterious.
Pet
Name Reign
Pronunciation Rain
Age 4 Turns
Type Firelizard
Rank Brown
Size 2 ft
Color Code
5C3317 Base Coat
423024 Markings
Appearance Reign’s coloring is mostly a dark mocha brown. The one exception is his belly and the underpart of his neck where the coloring is so dark that it looks close to black. It gives the brown an interesting and unusual coloration.
PersonalityCalm and rather docile, this particular brown is most commonly seen perched proudly on His neck. His favorite past time is sulking around the kitchens as the days meals are being prepared in the hopes of hitting the soft spot of one of the kitchen staff and score himself some scraps maybe even a meatroll. Believing himself to be more bronze then brown, this particular flit almost demands nearly everyone’s undivided attention, mostly when next to his larger bronze brother. Yet his loyalty is undying as he would do anything for His. Though a trickster at heart, Reign will always be there for his bonded in times of need or simply as a beacon of support.
