History in a nutshell
After multiple tries and failures they finally manage to get thread out of the problems of Pern together with the Red star. However thanks to a few events there is a different kind of thread now.
Allot dies, breeding begins
The new Thread seems to be more of a parasite and manages to nearly kill every dragonkin and wher alive, leaving only a pair (Male, Female) of each race. They are bred forcefully and start gaining size.
Tiny mistakes
Dragons actually start getting smaller over time and get mutations which soon become the norm. over time they even mutate into new colors. One of the colors seems to bring along another problem and now the Souls of the dead come back to haunt the living.
Paranoia
Holders get paranoid of these Souls and start fighting against the weyr. Soon a new weyr is started with eggs of a small clutch and the weyr soon becomes something unique and large.[/ul]
