Her eyes were open, but all she saw were blurs of movement every now and again as she passed a glow. There was little color in her opinion down here. The most colorful thing she had been exposed to was probably her green flitter Tizzy who was filling her mind with directions and images in order to prevent her from getting into trouble or going down the wrong way. She was wandering aimlessly though... so there seemed to be little point. Her brown, her ever stable Stayn was his reliable self, staying close and telling her all impending dangers that he could see while Tizzy, being less reliable, was a bit of everywhere and having some trouble staying focused. That was why she relied on Stayn more.
The rock which made up Trelis had a great sense of strength. The echos of the lower caverns were only of silence and it was almost disheartening. Being aloen was... disconcerting from time to time to her. But... down here, she had found that the echoes could in the caverns and tunnels could be extremely disconcerting and even annoying. Her hearing was something she relied on and the echoes which made everyone sound like they were everywhere. It made listening carefully all the more imperative.
Stayn gave a soft croon, knowing to keep his voice down where as Tizzy was somewhere up ahead making lots of noise which echoed towards her. In this case... it wasn't so difficult to deal with at the moment since... well.... there weren't sounds coming from everywhere as they could be, or she feared they could at least.
Her eyes where half lidded, though er smile was currently unseen. She hoped that she met someone... soon.

Pandora gazed around her quietly as she walked through the caverns of Trelis Weyr. She was finding that more, and more often she found herself enjoying the solitude she found within the expansive tunnels. She looked up at the ceiling as she walked, and a very quick, very small smile spread across her lips. Grandma wouldn't aprove. The thought had her pausing in her tracks. She hadn't allowed herself to think of the old woman since she had come to this place.
Pandora sighed, and all of a sudden found herself sitting on the floor, a sharp pain emanating from her rear end. She was practically growling as she looked around for whatever it was that had knocked her down. Hey watch where your going! She couldn't see who she was talking to through the dust, but she knew it had to be a person. Whether that person lived at Trelis or was a refugee like herself, she didn't care. She tried to glare through the dust, but found herself unable to see who it was.
(((Sorry it's so sucky! I promise I'll do better next time!!!!)))

The sound was everywhere. The chatter was always ceaseless, distracting.... It made her feel so hollow. It made it difficult to focus on what Stayn and Tizzy were telling her in the first place. She already had had far more problems than she normally would... and the next thing she knew... she was falling flat on her behind on the ground.
"Ooh.... I'm so sorry... But... I can't 'watch where I'm going...' I'm blind... And I am so sorry for running into you..." She wasn't completely blind. But she might as well be down here. The glows, which seemed rather dim to her today, were just blobs of light when she passed them and became a form of measuring where she was and how far she had gone in a sense as to how many she had passed.
The clamor in her head was nearly unbearable. She didn't know what was going on. She wasn't sure what it was... but it was almost like... like.... she was hearing every dragon in the Weyr. Could the dragons tell? She had been afraid to try to speak to them and if they knew.... they had not said a word.
Tizzy was chittering at the girl who had dared to attack hers now before flying to Xae and nuzzling and loving on her as if she were a young girl in need of comfort for falling on her butt.
Stayn on the other hand was his steady self, sitting on Xae's shoulder now and just waiting for her to get back up again. She would be fine. He was confident of it.

Pandora shook her head and tried to dust herself off from where she sat on the ground. She was practically snarling as she did so. Then she heard the other person's words. Oh...I..I didn't know, I'm sorry. Now that she knew the other girl was blind, she totally felt like a very hot, steaming pile of dragon crap. Grandma would really let her have it she was still alive and had found out that she had been so rude to someone who couldn't see where they were going.
Pandora glared at the little firelizard that dared chitter at her. In response she hissed, and almost sounded like a firelizard herself. She surprised herself with the sound, and quickly snapped her mouth shut. She stood up, and wondered what she was supposed to do. Here, do you want help up? She was polite, but the truth be told, she was extremely uncomfortable. Not only did she feel bad about what had happened, but she didn't know how to react either.
Pandora wished she had never left her room that morning. She bit her tongue as a nasty thought passed through her mind. All she wanted to do was be alone. But she knew that wasn't the right thing to do, and she also knew that Grandma would be upset with her if she didn't make right what she had made wrong. She sighed and shook her head. She needed to get out of this place, she needed to find a way to be herself, and not worry about the consequences of her actions.
