K'lin smiled and looked around the Weyr bowl. he needed to think of something for his next lesson. The weyrlings were still too young to fly, so that was out of the question. Not entirely true Mine. The young dragons and start to learn to fly. Bearith snorted his head at his rider as he spoke. The blue dragon was right, but the man wasn't sure he wanted to take the risk of sending them into the sky without them being prepared. All of a sudden it was as if a light bulb had turned on inside K'lin's head. He knew what he was going to have the weyrlings do. Alright Bearith, call them here! The blue male wasn't sure if he liked the look on his rider's face, but he did as he was told. Alright young ones, it is time for another surprise lesson. He wasn't sure what surprises his rider had in mind for the young weyrlings, but he was sure K'lin would make sure to keep them safe.

G'daro had a rough night. He, his dragon and his flits were kept awake by the sound of thunder. Now, with some of the weyrlings missing, he was concerned if they would ever return. He yawned, sat up and rubbed the back of a sleeping Bellatrix.
G'daroMine, the Weyrling master calls us. Banemith told His. So he has.G'daro replied. He got out of bed, put on his clothes and awoke both of his firelizards. This time, he was going to bring them along.
He, Banemith, Fizgig and Bellatrix all arrived at the bowl before anyone else did. They sat down and waited for instructions. ((OOC: Is it okay to bring firelizards to lessons? I can edit the post if we can't))

Now where was that man? Daedra had been looking for him almsot everywhere he wasn't... Until she found Iirla on her way and asked the Weyrling.
"He just called us to a lesson in the weyrbowl." Iirla blinked at the other woman in mild surprise. She seemed so.... excitable. She wondered why that was. Oh well. Best just get her to her mate.
Mrith rumbled at the back of her riders mind. Find him quick or I'll tell him for you!
Daedra took in a breath, making Iirla look at her from the corner of her eye. "Are you okay?" Iirla was rather concerned by the green rider's reaction to... something.
"Oh... yeah, I'm fine. Mrith is threatening to ruin the surprise if I don't get to K'lin soon." She rubbed the back of her head and gave a slightly cheesy smile, her eyes sparking as she started to trot a bit faster, still attempting to be careful for a reason that Iirla would not have known, but one that Daedra was currently concious of. "I'll be hurrying now." She waved behind her and started to move even a bit faster.
Iirla blinked. "Do you know what that was about?" Izanycorth just rumbled, already having asked Mrith. It is a surprise, LaMine. that was all she said, a mischevious feeling rolling of the young gold. "Alright, darling." She looked behind her as she saw R'vin walking their same way and waved.
Meanwhile, Daedra came to a panting hault right in front of K'lin. "Oh! K'lin! I have something to tell you! Something really... I don't know how you'll react, so maybe I should use that word.... But... Oh!" She kept rambling for a moment, possibly giving him time to ask or even shake her.
It was about this time that Iirla and R'vin walked up. "What's all this about?" R'vin asked Iirla, who shrugged, looking at Iz who, with a smug look, crooned and ignored her rider entirely. Oh. They'd find out shortly.
It was about then that Daedra threw her arms around K'lin and whispered in his ear. "I'm pregnant, K'lin," she said, her voice, perhaps, a bit too loud for her proximity to his ear.

D'rian and Jillalene had been down at the Runnerbeast corrals talking to Alessandra and Keegan when Kelath and Eulurth told them about the lesson. Lene had not entirely trusted D'rian before, but she was getting more used to him as time passed. Her constantly shooting him down seemed only to amuse him now more than anything else, and there was an easy sense of companionship growing between them. She'd helped care for Keegan's injuries and still visited him regularly, and D'rian had visited him as well, so they'd spent a bit more time together. Eulurth and Kelath were on good terms, so as far as she was concerned, the bronzerider was a friend, if a bit annoying sometimes.
They'd walked back together laughing and talking about D'rian's younger days with Keegan and their troublemaking while Eulurth and Kelath sunned themselves on the edge of the weyrbowl. Keegan didn't like dragons. They were not allowed anywhere near the runner beast corrals, and while she understood why, Jillalene couldn't help but feel bad for the two dragonets having to stay at the weyrbowl while their partners were off enjoying the sun and a nice walk.
They finally made it up to the weyrbowl and joined their dragons, the pairs made their way over to the weyrling master and now R'vin and Iirla.
"Hello Queen rider Iirla, R'vin." Lene's smile was warm as she politely ignored the affectionate display in front of them.
"Oh come on lene, see? K'lin gets hugs, why wont you give me just one?" D'rian's smile was coaxing, but the teasing light in his eyes didnt escape her and she thumped him on the shoulder.
"Quiet you, Or I'll feed you to Eulurth." Eulurth rumbled with a growl of approval leaning his head down beside D'rians as he gave the draconic equivalent of a human smacking their lips in anticipation. Kelath was suspiciously silent during all this, and D'rian looked up at his bronze indignantly.
"She just threatened to feed me to this monster of a blue! Aren't you going to at least say something?" Kelath's rumble of laughter washed over him, and there was no way today could have been any better he was sure of it. His friends were all here, everyone seemed happy, and life was good.
"If you didn't harass the poor girl at every turn I'd probably come to your defense, but you tend to start it mine. It's only fair that EulurthBrotherMine gets some kind of compensation for His' trouble."
D'rian's eyes feigned hurt and he put a hand over his heart, staggering back against Eulurth in his drama. "Abandoned by my own dragon..." He wasn't able to keep the laughter from his voice and he couldn't quite keep his straight face for too long.
As he cracked they all shared a laugh and the dragons crooned their hello's as D'rian offered a handshake and hello to R'vin and a smile and warmer hello for Iirla. Yes today was going to be perfect.

That master of ours has summoned us, little lamb Braymoth stretched out, showing his distaste in going for another lesson. They were too friendly, all full of chatter and socializing. He wanted to fight, shed blood, survive! Yufa sighed as the feelings of the garnet reached her, and she looked over to the red dragon from where she sat chatting with her brother. We must go, Braymoth. Lessons are important. She rose, summoning her fire lizards to her and straightening out her dress. She wouldn't be able to wear them much longer, she realized sadly. As soon as they began riding she would be forced to switch to pants like everyone else. Bidding farewell to her brother, she headed off towards the lesson, poised as always. With a deep, rumbling sigh, Braymoth rose and followed.
They arrived in good time, Yufa giving K'lin a curtsey and a 'Hello Weyrlingmaster' before turning to stand near the rest of her classmates. A quick glance at G'daro worried her; her brief training as a Healer took note of his tired appearance, and with the recent events she was worried that something could be eating away at him... it wasn't good to keep things bottled in. Should she ask him about it? Mine apparently worries for yours, Brown. She wonders if everything is alright. Braymoth spoke to Banemith as they passed, hissing slightly in annoyance as he did so. Yufa merely rolled her eyes and focus on the others in the group.
"Greetings, Lady Iirla, Sir D'rian." She spoke to the Gold and Bronze pairs first witha slight curtsey before turning to Jillalene. "I hope you are well 'Lene" She added to Jillalene as she picked a place to stand beside the blue weyrling. Braymoth sat near Eulurth, though he didn't hiss and cause trouble like he normally did; Yufa wouldn't be happy if he messed with her friend so soon after the storm.
Z'nil had a much quieter arrival to the lesson. The older man headed in with his hands in his pocket and his ever present scowl on his face. Behind him, Anuth waddled slowly, her pose showing that she was once again upset with something, though as usual she simply thought Hers didn't like her.
He didn't want to be here. He wanted to be with hit daughter and wife, back working with the stone he loved, not here being treated like an apprentice once again. Te mopey feeling from Anuth became too much to bear. I'm not mad at you, child. He thought to her, turning back to look sadly at the green. He loved her, wanted to care for her, but at the same time he wanted his family. He was stuck between a rock and a hard place.

F’lon grumbled incoherently to himself as he strode to where today’s lesson was to take place. He was exhausted, both mentally and physically, that was clear just by the dark circles that hung under his eyes. It gave him a rather haunted expression, making the Trelis born thief look even more dark and unwelcoming. But it was merely the result of his late night antics. He always had something going on, in one form or another.
Never one who was too enthused about attending lessons, and today was no different, F’lon shoved his hands deep in his pockets as he headed to the meeting place as a small scowl darkened his eyes. Aphath, on the other hand, was in a vaguely chipper mood today and bounded happily beside Hers. The skull-marked amethyst was currently filling the man’s head with a constant running commentary of what she thought today’s lesson might hold, of course adding the occasional chastising remark about his recent misdeeds.
F’lon sighed and massaged his temple as his dragonets voice bounced around his mind. The skin of wine he had enjoyed the previous night was not doing much to help his current state either. It was times like these where he wished his companion was more inclined to speak to others instead of constantly bombarding his mind. The chatter slowly began to die down though as she must have picked up on the slight irritation bubbling within the dark haired man. With a low huff she quieted down and instead turned her attention to those who had already arrived, she was easily distracted after all.
F’lon shook his head at his companions quick mood change before turning to glance at those who were already gathered. As usual there was no one here who really sparked his interest or who he cared to strike up a conversation with, so the thief simply folded his arms across his chest and cast a sideways glance towards their WeyrlingMaster, impatient to get this little show on the road already. The sooner they began the sooner they could finish and call it a day.

K'lin smiled politely as he watched the first of the weyrlings to arrive. It was a nice sunny day, and it would be a good day to for some work. Then he saw his weyrmate, Daedra. She had been accompanied by the young Junior Weyrwoman Iirla and her gold Izanycorth. He had a sneaking suspicion that there was something on the green rider's mind that she wasn't telling him, and when he tried to ask his blue dragon if he knew what that might be, he found that he was being ignored.
Then Daedra spoke, well actually she more or less rambled at the poor man. By the time she was finished with the first part, K'lin's entire body was just one giant question mark. He just blinked, and started at her stupidly. You're embarrassing yourself. Bearith rumbled loudly as he spoke to his rider. The young man turned and glared at his dragon's words, but he didn't have much time to think of a cunning threat, or a brilliant retort to the blue male before he had the shock of his life.
K'lin slowly, very slowly, wrapped his arms around Daedra after she told him that she was pregnant. We're having a baby...a baby. It sounded as though he was tasting, and weighing the word. That means...means...I'm gonna be dad...wait...a BABY?!?!?!?!? He felt light headed, and was glad that he had been holding on to his weyrmate. For he feared he might have fallen and knocked himself unconscious. Something that really would embarrass him.
Bearith shook his large blue head, and lowered it to gently nudge his rider. After he was sure the young man wouldn't do something extremely stupid, the large blue stood up, and strode a little ways away from the group of weyrlings. Come little ones. It is time to test your wings. He spoke only to the minds of the young dragons, preferring to stay away from the minds of the humans. After all, they were not his charges, they were his rider's responsibility.

Yufa had to force herself not to clap with glee as the news that their Weyrlingmaster would be a father was heard. Even grumpy Z’nil couldn’t help but smile at the news as he remembered how excited he had been to learn his wife was pregnant. One by one, the Garnet weyrling and green weyrling approached Daedra and K’lin, intent on giving their congratulations.
Their dragonets, meanwhile, moved closer to Bearith, Anuth whimpering as she separated from Z’nil. Braymoth merely chuckled draconically. He had no interest in human things, he just wanted to get back to the lesson so that it could be over. He wanted to watch His try to stomach ripping apart meat for him.
“Well well.” A grumpy sound came from behind the group as J’degar walked into sight, his brown not far behind him. Normally he would have left Syphraelth to sun, but both he and the brown were aware of how dangerous their position was. The brown was tagging along to protect his rider if the situation arose.
“I THOUGHT I was coming to witness a lesson, not a baby shower.” He scoffed as he looked at Daedra, once again disgusted at the behavior of Trelis’ women riders. She was another shining example of why women belonged anywhere except on dragons. “This should have been private news woman, not something to disrupt and entire class over. You would have had nine months to break the news regardless.” Syphraelth stood over his rider in a way that would allow him to easily block the man from harm. J'degar sighed.
"As you know, I will be watching your lesson to report the Weyrling's progress to the Weyrleader. Greenrider, if you'd be so kind as to end your disruption? I'm sure the weyrlings would appreciate it if you stopped wasting their time."

Lene had been in the middle of congratulating the happy couple when a throat cleared behind her. All that happiness…. Now turned to a roiling pit of animosity and hatred. The hiss was buried deep within her, but she still felt its effects. Brownrider… Southern
Eulurth, who’d wandered over with Anuth and Braymoth , wasn’t as quiet though. His menacing growl promised death if the brownrider overstepped his bounds.
Lene’s hand found the dagger at her waist’s hilt again and she wrapped her fingers around it. She had to hand it to Eulurth. She was much more of a fighter now than she had been when she first came to the weyr. She glared her defiance at the man and stood beside Daedra and K’lin, layingher free hand on Deadra’s shoulder.
“I think you’ll find your outburst to be more distracting you filth-rid-“
Lene’s voice stopped at that. Catching the quick look and motion for silence from D’rian as he and kelath drew themselves to their full height and turned their full disdain on the Brownrider.
“This is news to be celebrated you piece of southern scum. If you have nothing nice to say, DO NOT SPEAK in the presence of TRELIS weyrlings. We’ve no interest in your venomous input BROWNRIDER. Especially since the only reason that ‘weyrleader’ you speak of only gained the position by treachery. You’re not worthy of Trelis.”
D’rian and Kelath’s rage over their plotting was still almost unbearable, and with the weyrlings who were here, their dragons would do what had to be done if it came to a fight. He could not keep himself silent as Kelath roared his anger.
Kelath snaked his head in front of d’rian to glare at the brownrider who thought he could chastise their riders.
“You have no authority here brownrider. And NO RIGHT to interrupt our gathering before the lesson has begun. You are here to observe so human, Hold your TONGUE!”
His feral hiss accompanied by the lashing of his tail belied his rage as his wings flared. D’rian placed a hand on his dragon’s shoulder more than willing to support him since this was how they both felt.

It was not just the young bronze and blue, but the gold as well snapped her head around and, with little warning through herself at the rider, stopping short just barely. YOU WILL LEAVE HERE NOW! AS A GOLD! I ORDER YOU! I WILL SEE TO IT YOU ARE TORN TO SHREDS WHERRY DUNG-COLORED BROWN! You have no right! Here you have no authority! Your supposed Weyrking will not rule us! These are MY charges! This is Loraketh' and Mine Weyr! Your treachery shall be repaid with DEATH! THIS was to be celebrated! THIS! Is something we care about! YOU AND YOUR SOUTHERN DUNG ARE NOTHING! She had stopped short, but her hiss, her wings. She would protect those she loved. They have not interrupted our lesson! You have! Faranth curse you now! Iirla stepped forward, placing a hand on Izanycorth's side, holding her head high. "You and I will have a word J'degar. YOUR "weyrleader" can give you orders but Trelis is not and WILL NOT be his. Treachery breeds hatred and that is ALL that he wrought. He seeks to straighten us out! HA! It will not happen. WAR will sooner come down on your heads and death to every dragon you brought! I had decided to try to abide! But this! NO MORE! YOU who know NOTHING of Trelis! HA!"
Braymoth! Come! Thormyth! I ask you a great favor! Come to help me, my dearest, I dare beg of you. Aphath. Your rider. We need his skills now. Eulurth! Your claws and your Rider's blade! Kelath! You are our leader! CHAHATURTHSISTERMINE! I require you! Kayath! Please! Loraketh! PLEASE MotherMine! SolarithFatherMine, come, please. She called for aid from all of Trelis. Oh! She would not stand for this! Oh no! Forget abiding! Forget waiting! We will show them we SHALL NOT YIELD! She roared at the top of her voice.
Iirla stood still, her arm shaking imperceptibly, a hiss threatening to come from her own mouth as the hatred broiled through her, ever thickening, ever building. THIS man was worse the the supposed weyrleader! "I would sink a knife in you myself, J'degar... only that would be unbecoming..." her tone was regretful, smooth, threatening. "Trelis' has no 'mere' women of tenacity to push around. We are a powerful Weyr due to our women and men alike. We work together. And we stand together have built this Weyr. You know nothing and love your supposed tradition. But Trelis' tradition is DIFFERENT than Southerns. It is as it always has been and it will remain as such." Her words were cold, pointed, angry. "Observe and keep your mouth shut. We will meet later. I am Jr. Weyrwoman if even I am only a Weryling. And you are an insignificant Southern brownrider who is daring to interrupt a lesson that you have no business speaking in."
Daedra had turned to lunge at the man, her anger getting the better of her. If Lene's hand had not been on her shoulder and she ahd no been in the arms of her weyrmate... she would have instantly begin to start fighting. She always had her bow and arrow. Even now. She was itching to turn and put an arrow in him now, but she did her best to keep herself under control.
R'vin pulled his sword, holding in in a defensive position as he and Umeith stepped forward, Umeith hissing angrily, R'vin cold, quiet, collected, his sword drawn. "Some might hesitate to kill a dragon. Trust me. I will not. Your dragon's head comes near any of us. His throat is cut. That is that. I do not miss." It might have been slightly a bluff.... but... He had been the best guard for a reason. Now.... if only his sparring partners were about. The candidate Yanoya and his fellow weyrling, Eliitra.
Iirla frowned. The plan that Inali had proposed was not being followed, or so she didn't think it was.

S’val & Solarith ||
Solarith’s head shot up from where it had been resting atop his forelegs the moment the young Izanycorth’s voice called out to him. A deep rumble of irritation shook the large bronzes body and caused S’val to stop the meeting with his Wingsecond and third and fix his companion with a curious eye. Before the man even had a chance to ask what had gotten into him, Solarith had turned his orange swirling gaze on his Rider and began to rise from his ledge.
They have harassed the younglings. It was all he said before leaping from his ledge, snapping his wings open and heading for the training grounds. S’val could do nothing but stare at the fleeting figure of his bonded with a wide eye and partially gaping mouth. “What in Far--..” He trailed off, ruffling his hair in irritation. “Trelis has gone mad…” He made a mental note to call another meeting with Inali, things were just getting too out of hand.
Solarith spiraled down and quickly landed once he spotted the group of weyrlings. Surveying the bunch with a single sweep of his head, the bronze walked up behind the fiesty young dragonets and Their’s. Paying special attention to keep his young golden daughter and Her’s directly in front of him and beneath his head, that way if anything transpired he could easily protect the young pair. He crooned a low reassurance to the two and the rest of the weyrlings before fixing his gaze on the former Southern brown and His. What has gone on to get the younglings so worked up, Syphraelth, Bearith? Solarith directed his question only to the two other adults there. It would do no good to ask the weyrlings what had happened, they would have just all spoke at once and he would never get to the bottom of this.
__________________________
Vl’kan & Thormyth ||
The two had just finished a lesson of their own when Thormyth paused in his stride and glanced back towards the training grounds when Izanycorth spoke to him. It would seem that our young Queen is having troubles of her own with these newcomers. By now Vl’kan had stopped as well and shot Thor a quizzical look. She’s requesting my aid… How will doing this help me, Vl’kanMine? The young Lord sighed and shook his head before resting his hand on the garnets shoulder. He tended to forget sometimes that his bonded had a bad case of self-confidence issues, nearly as bad as himself.
“Aiding Izanycorth will, once again, make sure all of Trelis has their eye on you. It makes you seem unpredictable and if no one can guess your next move then you’ll always have them on their toes. Besides, you‘re not going to let your garnetbrother steal everyone‘s attention…are you?” The crimson dragonet seemed to consider this line of thought with a quickly swirling gaze. A few moments passed in silence before he gave a low huff and tossed his head back, as if coming to this conclusion hadn’t been such a big deal. Then we go.
They arrived as soon as Solarith had made his appearance and loomed over Iirla and Izanycorth. “Are you alright Iirla? What’s happened?” Vl’kan tried not to look intimidated by the irritated bronze as he walked over to Iirla’s side, while Thormyth, on the other hand, ignored everyone as he stalked over to the young Queens side. Have they rubbed you the wrong way again? The young garnet hissed lowly as his red streaked gaze wandered over to the Southern brown and His.
___________________________
F’lon & Aphath ||
F’lon was just about to comment on how things were taking too long when the news came that their WeyrlingMaster was going to be a father. Well if there was anything that could calm the normally heated and irate thief, it was news about little ones. They were his soft spot after all. That should come as no surprise really as when not in lessons he was usually seen around Trelis with his own young son in tow. He had started to walk up and congratulate the man when the disturbance announced itself. The thief clenched his jaw as the Southern man started to go on. Doesn’t he have anything better to do?
Oh but then, then, things really started to heat up when their own young Junior Weyrwoman started berating and snapped at the brownrider. He had to admit it was all slightly amusing. However, when an irritated Solarith showed up and stood protectively behind his gold daughter and Iirla, F’lon swallowed the witty side comment that had been building and for once kept his mouth shut. This wasn’t the time and the place to get cocky, not if dragons were about to battle it out.
Aphath squeaked at the arrival of the large bronze and brown and scampered back to F’lon’s side, protectively wrapping her tail around his legs. This was no time for a lesson, she needed to be with Hers. Oh she might be small but she would defend Hers to the end. No pushy brown and his rider was going to get close and order Hers around! Hmph! The skull marked dragonet hissed lowly at the two, not pleased at all with the days events.

K'lin couldn't have been happier than the moment he found out that he and his weyrmate were going to be parents. He felt as though if he smiled any more he'd have to see the healer because his lips would rip themselves apart. Then everything turned upside down when one of the Southern riders opened their mouth. The blue rider recognized the man as one of Ar'rex's men, and wondered what on Pern was he doing here when he officially had nothing to do with the weyrlings. K'lin had no chance to speak before all hell broke loose. He sighed and shook his head at everyone. ENOUGH!!!! All of you just knock it off! He was practically snarling at each of the weyrlings that had spoken up. Then, just to make things worse, S'val made an appearance. Oh dear Faranth has the entire Weyr lost their senses?! He took a deep breath, and forced himself to sound calmer than he felt. He needed to keep his calm before he made things worse. Our guest here as just offered his opinion, and it was not taken kindly by the weyrlings. Weyrlings there is no need for this kind of behavior. He is right, you are here for a lesson. Do not misunderstand, he had no right to speak up, but none of you should have gotten so upset. Now all of you, let's go. Bearith turned around and stared calmly at each of the young dragons as he spoke. There was no need for this petty squabbling, after all. Bearith is right. You are all acting like spoiled weyrbrats! Iirla I expect more of you! You are, after all, our Junior Weyrwoman and should act as such. I am sorry that they have disturbed you S'val. K'lin kept one of his arms tightly around Daedra as he spoke. He had surprised himself with how strict he thought he sounded. After all he had always thought he was the fun teacher, not the strict one. Oh well, there was a first for everything. Everyone has a right to speak their mind, even if it would be wise to keep their mouths shut. Now all you young dragons go with Bearith for your lesson. As for the rest of you weyrlings. Sit down and shut your mouths! Alright, there might not be any need to say this, but it was obvious that the young man was now thoroughly pissed. His voice sounded more like a snarling hiss than he had intended, but at that moment he didn't care as long as it worked. After all, it was one of his many jobs to defuse the situation before everything got worse. My dear Daedra, you should go rest, and if you try to argue I'll have to tell Mrith to come and carry you away. He turned and smiled to the woman he held tightly in his arm, and smiled happily as if nothing happened. At that point in time he was convinced he was bipolar and would have to go to the healer later and get himself checked out. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ D'tri hadn't wanted to get up that morning, so it was no surprise that him and his young topaz were late. After all, he hadn't gotten up until Chahaturth had told him that her sister had called for her. Hey, what I miss Iirla? He walked straight to the young gold rider as he stared at everyone in total confusion. He ran a hand through his un-brushed hair and regretted his decision to not get up that morning. After all, he had missed all the fun hadn't he? Chaharuth walked over to her sister, looking utterly calm in the face of all this trouble. I am here my sister. Now what is going on? She spoke only to her sisters and brothers, oh and her father. She preferred to keep her voice out of the minds of all humans except her own. She wished Her's hadn't been so stubborn that morning. Maybe then she wouldn't be so confused as to what had transpired in her absence. She was a sub-queen after all, and had a right to be included in everything.
