(Ooc: Sorry that it's short, I just wanted to wrap this up. I'm in the middle of packing right now. >.> )
They were all doing well, remarkably so in fact. Trilling in pure delight, Aries tossed a quick glance toward the males as they followed her path. One by one they either failed or succeeded in the first test, then were tested again in the second. Perhaps a few were upset with her over her methods, but she needed the strongest and fastest of them all. She needed someone who would go to the ends of the earth for her, and still know at the end that they always had her. The orange hued gold cocked her head as she watched a few males leave the flight.
So be it, they weren't worth her time if she wasn't worth theirs. Sweeping her wings in a wide arc, the firelizard crooned affectionately to her chasers. There were a few bronzes and browns left, as it should be. One even was brave enough to slide near her and try to twine his tail with hers. Looking down at the bronze, Aries chirped. She saw the ichor on his wound, mirroring her own. Others had made similar sacrifices. Before she could decide what to do though, the bronze near her, Jax was his name, twined his neck with hers as well.
Squawking unhappily, Aries fought against his hold but she was too tired to go on by herself. A quick glance at the others confirmed her choice. This bronze would do, he definitely was worthy of her for getting this far. Not to mention that he was adoring her so much that he couldn't keep his claws off of her! Trilling sweetly to Jax, Aries wound her tail with his and spread out her wings. He'd fly her now and finish this. It was his right. As for the others, well they had done well. Come again next time boys she crooned seductively, better luck next time!
