Akilu smiled as she heard the rider's words. Her? She wasn't just dreaming? "I...I don't know what to say....could I really....I couldn't be....I don't deserve such an honor." Akilu's face fell before Saka's little hand went to her hip where her own hand had been placed in her questioning. "You'll be fine. I'll be there! We'll have so much fun, you'll see." The hunter girl smiled wide as she craned her neck up to look at the older woman. Akilu saw it there, the faith in her eyes. The faith Saka had in her. She could do this. The answer was already decided, it was yes. She couldn't not give up this chance. What did she have here? Memories she'd rather forget, and a life of servitude? There was no point. Turning to the rider, she nodded her head and held herself proudly. In that instance, the old Akilu came back. The lessons in etiquette and proper training showed, and she was once more the confident person she had been at one time. Only long enough to say, "Yes, I accept your offer." Then it was gone again. Tired already from that small use of strength.
