[[ALL GONE =D]]
Gray whined anxiously as Korvin shrugged his way through the crowd, the young man being excessively careful of the large woven box he was carrying, which was hard enough with his still sore but mostly healed arm. Someone bumped him, earning a growl from both him and the female canine beside him, the sounds barely covering a strange, whimper-like noise coming from the basket. "Shards..." The wher candidate swore under his breath as he finally made it through the throng of people, finding a rather empty section of the gather to settle down in. Placing the basket reverently down, he moved aside the blanket that rested on top, revealing a number of bouncing, somewhat scared furballs. Gray whined again.
"I know Gray.. I'd keep 'em if I could." He replied, ruffling a hand in her fur in an attempt to calm her. The pups had been a big suprise for him, he had simply come home from chores one day to find her curling up in a makeshift den. It had been almost two months since then... and he had been doing his best to keep the pups hidden and out of sight. He chuckled as Gray moved away from him to nuzzle the pups one by one and he reached down to make sure all the colourful ribbons were still tied around their necks. Yeah... yeah.. oh that one was loose. There... they were all nicely tied. He had even made sure to have not only Gray, but also himself well groomed today, he didn't want people avoiding the pups simply because he wasn't completely clean! He looked out at the crowd, hoping the yipping and playful barking of the pups would draw in some potential takers.

X’ries already had a bubbly pie in hand, practically having jammed his other one down his throat. He didn’t have very many marks, but the marks he did have he’d spent wisely! Wisely meaning he’d spent them on food. He whistled a merry tune once his second bubbly pie was devoured, wiping some pie crumbs from his face with his sleeve. He was wearing a dark brown tunic, and a white long-sleeved shirt. He was hoping it’d get cooler though, as it was he was a bit hot. The teenaged-male was hoping to be able to ask a nice girl to dance come the end of the night. Maybe a few nice girls... Heck, why not just dance with them all! He bore a smirk at this thought, not seeming to care that he came off as cocky. Really he didn’t even notice that his behaviour might be offensive to some. He was still just a kid!
The amethyst weyrlingrider looked this way and that, studying the various booths as he went along. There was nothing of interest thus far. Hineath was asleep, not yet demanding his attention. He’d made an agreement with her to go back in the middle of the day to tend to her before heading out later on for the nights events. Such events were the merry dancing, and further feasting. Not to mention the music. X’ries was partial to music, it made for a great mood. Ladies in the mood were the kind of ladies that would be more likely to accept his advances. He knew he couldn’t get too carried away, however, what with Hineath’s fragile mind.
It was then that he spotted them in a box. He froze, feeling a warm feeling flood over him. Who wasn’t partial to puppies? He looked this way and that like he had before, but more frantically this time. He wanted to make sure he wasn’t being watched. Could weyrling’s even have pets? Oh, he’d find a way! He ran on up to the puppies excitedly, watching as a couple tried to plan a great escape out of the box. His eyes ran over them, a huge grin upon his face. It practically stretched from ear to ear. He rubbed his hands together in front of him, snickering as if he was a criminal mastermind. Now all he had to do was choose!
The ones trying to escape grabbed his attention yet again. Which one was a male though? He wanted a pup that would grow up to be big and strong! With another snicker of delight, and one last rubbing together of his hands, he reached into the box and picked up the The Green Ribbon Female that was trying to help her brother out of the box. Was it a male? The puppy squirmed in his grip. He lifted it up over his head, and looked underneath it, trying to examine. What was this thing? He gave a troubled glance to the people standing around. ”What is this?” he asked, a puzzled look on his face. So he sounded absolutely ridiculous asking what in the world it was, like he couldn’t identify a puppy. Really, he was asking about its gender, which was obvious enough to him.

Naomi limped along at a very slow pace. So far she had done a pretty good job at keeping her broken ankle away from any harm. Her two canines helped a lot. Not many people would try to walk between her and either of the females. She sighed and shook her head. There had to be a better way to get around. She smiled down at her two companions, who whined sadly back at her. They didn't like seeing her like this any more than she liked being like this.
Ayame stopped then, and started sniffing around intently. She was soon leading her human, and Akela, through the crowds, as she followed a familiar scent. She barked playfully when she saw Gray and her human. Then she saw the puppies. Puppies!!!! She bounded over to the other female happily, and sniffed her politely. It looked as though she was saying Hi to the other female, and asking her how she had been since their little excursion in the forest.
Naomi glared at her dog when she saw where she had been led. The one person she had been avoiding. Oh well, there was something else to occupy her thoughts. Gray had puppies, and all of them were very cute. Akela on the other hand just snorted at the group of pups. She didn't want anything to do with the energetic, untrained runts. She sat down, well away from the pups and the other females while she waited for her human to lead them away again.
There cute, good job Gray. She smiled sweetly at the female, completely ignoring the canines owner. She looked over all the pups, and wondered if she should take one. It might be nice to have another pup running around. It would give her something to do when she was finally alowd to walk on her leg again. She sat down next to the box of puppies, and tried to decide.
What do you think Gray? Do you mind if I take this little lady with me? She smiled, and gently picked up the Pink Ribbon female. She looked the little girl over, and decided that yes, this would be a perfect addition to her small family. That is, if the little pups mother allowed her take her that is. She didn't care what Korvin had to say about it, for all she cared, he wasn't even there. She gently pet the little pup on the top of her head, already trying to establish a bond.

Panille so far had been around to some of the stalls but not all. Dressed in her gather clothes, the redheaded rider sighed and pulled on a lock of hair. It curled around her face away from the bun she'd put the rest in unfortunately which was driving her crazy. Oh well though, not like the fellas would be looking at that.
No they're too busy loowing at your cleavage. Iliath's amused croon sounded in Pans mind which caused her lips to turn upward at the edges. Oh yes, there was that. Her dark violet dress was more of a long tunic really, in fact it was a men's tunic not laced all the way and bunched together with a black scarf. The normal form of clothes for a gather featuring some of the most cultured minds this side of Pern? No. Did she care? Not in the least.
Iliath stretched out further on the rocks, enjoying the mid day light. She closed her eye lids then, drifting off lightly. Nearby, something caught Pan's attention. There was the soft yipping sound. She followed it curiosity getting the better of her. Soon, she found someone with a canine and what looked to be her pups. "Are they for sale or just to play with? I'd love to have one.....caught a sharding thief sneaking into my Weyr a sevenday ago or so." Panille laughed at the memory bitterly. "Not to mention it would be nice to have something to maybe keep the weyrlings in line a bit."
She looked down at the basket, watching the pups. Immediately she knew which Iliath would approve of, and she did too. "I love you." Pan clucked her tongue ssoftly as she reached down to maybe pet the female with the black ribbon.

There were lots of people passing by to look at them... girls were cooing and baby talking to the pups... something that, in a way, disgusted Korvin to no end. These were the pups of purebred hunting canines, not pets for a stuck up Lady Holder! Nonetheless, he foreced a smile at each individual that came by, but it was really wearing on his nerves. He needed someone to come by who actually knew something about the damn canines! There was a short break in the attention his pups were bringing, and Korvin took the opportunity to relax a bit and calm down, scratching absentmindedly at Gray's back. Her head perked up suddenly, and a light yip warned him that another potential idiot was approaching. He raised an eyebrow at the odd behavior of the individual, what, did he think there was some rule against looking at pups? Sighing, he realized he would like not be visisted by anyone intelligent. The boy was fearless, shoving his hand into the basket and pulling out one of the puppies with ease, the first person to do that all day. Korvin approved. Or at least he did.. until the brat opened his mouth and spoke. "It ain't got no man parts now does it?" He said icily. Seriosuly.. it wasn't rocket science. "That there pup is a girl." As he spoke, the little female in question had begun to fidgit a little bit. Just a little! He didn't have time to silently rage at the boy, because before he knew it the real object of his dislike had arrived. That god-forsaken, troublesome, stubborn, kiss-stealing woman. And she wanted one of HIS puppies? He groaned, cursing that day in the forest. Thankfully, she seemed as disinclined to talk to him as he was to her, even if her mere presence caused his face to redden a bit. "She says yeah." He replied curtly as Gray playfully yipped and nuzzled at the other adult female. The little female in Naomi's grasp merely looked up at her new owner with wise, knowing eyes. On the bright side, Korvin was confident that at least that female would be raised properly. Naomi may have been a crazy, psychopathic woman, but she had skill with canines, and he respected that.
Zane's: The Green Ribbon FemaleType: Canine Size: Medium Appearance:This little lady is a bit pudgy right now, with roly poly baby fat, but with proper nutrition and exercise she will grow into a well proportioned young female. Even though she looks soft and squishy now, there are telltale signs of strong muscles and it's obvious she'll be quite the adventurous little hunter some day. Personality:Sassy, spunky, curieous, mischievious, can be fierce, fiery, brave, independant, an excellent hunterAkira's: The Pink Ribbon FemaleType: Canine Size: Medium-Large Appearance:At first glance, this girl doesn't seem to be too feminine. With a heavy build, not to mention the fact she is the largest pup in the littler, one would assume she was actually male, if not for the pink ribbon around her neck. Though she will retain her heavy build through her life, she will grow into a graceful and obviously female canine. Even at her young age she moves with a grace and dignity that is beyond her years. She will be better at group hunting and tracking than at solo work. Personality:Cool, calm, collected in most situations, proud and loving, doesn't like to bend for anyone, though she does so in stern, not physical, rebellion courageous, does not show fear

F’lon yawned and absentmindedly scratched at his arm before popping another piece of fresh bread into his mouth. His pockets were already heavy with the few pouches of marks he had snagged from his chosen targets of the day and he was clearly quiet pleased with himself. Oh he had a problem and he knew it but it was just so much fun being bad! His tiny purple companion was on his heels as well and had been reprimanding him the whole time, a constant trail of scolding thoughts zipped through his mind with each step they took. At least he seemed to be growing fond of the little Aphath, although his way of showing it at the moment was roughly shouldering people out of his way who got too close to trampling on his small companion.
Yes I know…Try and refrain from obtaining that which is not and what not. Glancing down at the skull marked dragonet, F’lon nudged another person out of the way and easily met and beat down their glare and continued on his way through the crowd. So much to see and so much to do, although he did have a few things in mind he would rather be doing but alas, Aphath’s mind was much to delicate to allow her rider so joys. Shame really. Oh well, he’d just swipe a few skins and maybe go and track down that Istan Weyrling Master for another chat of sorts.
Speak of the devil. There was the oh so lovely female con-artist now. F’lon smirked to himself as their previous encounter flashed through his minds eye. Oh yes, he would most definitely have to make an appearance and, of course, make her day. Nearing the greenrider, F’lon noticed the booth she was at the box of puppies that sat at the feet of a man that looked to be around his own age. Oh look Mine, wingless fluffies! Can we have one? Please oh pleeeeaaasssseeee mineeee!?? The young amethyst reached the stall before F’lon and was currently looking at the young balls of fluff, her own tail wagging almost as reverently as the pups. F’lon groaned and stepped up beside her and peered into the box at the wiggling fluff. The Red Ribbon Male was drawing his attention so he knelt down and stuck his hand in the box where it was immediately tackled by slobbery tongues. “We just can’t stop bumping into each other…think it might mean something.” Glancing to his right he fixed Panille with a smirk and flashed her a quick wink before he returned his attention to the wiggling pup.

Another woman arrived then. What had suddenly drawn these people here? This was likely the most attention the little ones had gotten all day! He eyed her curiously as she approached, taking in her... choice of attire. He had never understood dresses of any kind, they seemed to... inhibiting. Then again, she did look rather wonderful in it, not that Korvin had a real eye for women or anything. He actually grinned up at her when she spoke, pleased that she wanted one for work purposes and not just a play thing. Yes, he approved of this woman. Gray did too, as she didn't raise any protest when the woman reached into the basket. "Jus' givin' 'em away. I can't take care of 'em all." He replied with a nod. "They're good breed, should be easy t' train. The dad's an excellent guard dog, n' she seems to take after 'im a bit." He watched the woman and the black ribboned pup curiously, the smirked as the pup replied with her characteristic attitude. She yipped at the hand. How dare that hand think it could just reach in here and treat her like anything less than what she was... a true queen! Not like those other females. Or even the males. She was the ruler here and nothing anyone said or did would change that! She nipped at the hand, though her little teeth didn't do much against the offending appendage. This would simply not do! She was much to weak to do what she wanted... yet. She turned calculating eyes up at the woman. Maybe.. just maybe she could use that woman. Yes... yes... She let loose an almost feline-like purr as she rubbed against the hand, almost lovingly.
Lark's: Black Ribboned FemaleType: Canine Size: Medium Appearance:The Black Ribboned pup is an intriguing looking thing. She is thinly built, looking almost underfed she's so thin, but no bones are visible on this little girl. No.. her appearance is very misleading, for beneath that thin build is a layer of solid, already developping muscle. She'll be a force to be reckoned with one day. Personality:impulsive, ruthless, opportunistic, manipulative, can be loving one minute and harsh the next (and vice versa), very proud and cocky

Aela wandered around, bored. She had nothing to do, but when she heard about puppies she headed over to where they were at. The girl looked around the booth and smiled when she saw one. "Awwww. What a sweet little puppy." She pointed to the male cowering in the corner. "May I take him? He is so adorable." The little puppy seemed to be avoiding one of his siblings who was snarling and snapping.
The girl waited for the puppy to being given to her. The little blue ribbon around his neck made him even more adorable. Aela couldn't believe that there were puppies being given away. Aela, however, would make sure that the puppy of her choice would be well taken care of. It was always best to make sure that all critters were well fed and happy. Her Talath was getting pretty big now and Aela was even more in love with the Obsidian now than she had been before. Of course being picked as a Sub-Queen had been a little astonishing, but Aela quickly got over it. Now she needed to keep her mind on the present.

Zaekrin didn't take long to come to see his roommate's pups. He had been interested in getting one from teh time he had been told that his dog was going to have. He had admired Korvin and his dogs, honestly... He rather hoped he coudl get some help training them as well after getting him as well.
"Hey Korvin. Great pups." He looked at them all with interest... Hmm... That one. He was the most interesting he thought. "You alright with me taking this guy?" he asked with a soft smile. He didn't reach to grab the pup, not utnil he was given an answer.
There were so many others around. They were a bit... or a lot, perhaps, annoying. He had to be honest about that one. The pups were awesome, but, at least, the women and females were somewhat... he wasn't sure what to call it, but he just looked aorund, almsot seeing somewhat annoyed.

Korvin quirked an eyebrow at the next person to approach, a man pretty close to his own age, if he had to guess. He recognised him from somewhere... where was it...? He spotted the little purple head of an amethyst near the pups. Oh that's right, from the last dragon hatching. He hadn't looked to pleased about the ordeal, not that Korvin cared of course. Although... he had to admit that Aphath was awfully adorable. He nodded a greeting at F'lon as the man stuck his hand in the box, but he kept a wary gaze on him. Beside him, Gray had tensed slightly, which was more than enough to tell Korvin that this guy could mean trouble of some sort, even if it didn't seem like it. In the box, the Red Ribbon pup had basically attached himself to the man's hand via his raspy little tongue. He liked this man! They would go off and adventure wouldn't they? Off to those places he wasn't allowed to go to! Not that he knew what those were yet... but he'd explore them when he learned! He stuck his small paws on the man's arm and attempted to use him as leverage to escape the box, almost succeeding this time before falling back into the box. Right on the weyrling's heels was a another girl. Not surprising, girls did seem to have a soft spot for puppies. She picked out one that he had thought wouldn't be taken. The weak, cowardly looking one, though he didn't look AS cowardly now that the Black Ribboned pup had been picked up. The Blue Ribboned pup, glanced nervously about as the girl pointed at him. What had he done? Wasn't he good enough? Why was it that his siblings got all the attention? He had been born before some of them... not that it seemed to matter, they treated him like dirt anyway. Would this human girl treat him any better? Would she see him for what he truly was? A strong and capable pup? The other remaining pup nipped at his rump, causing the Blue Ribboned pup to yelp and jump away. Please save me! His little voice cried.
For Zero: The Red Ribboned PupType: Canine Size: Medium Appearance:By no means the largest or smallest of the litter, this little guy is just a bit larger than the smallest. He wont stay that way for long though! He's overdue for a massive growth spurt that will make him roughly the second largest of the littler. His build is average, strong enough to let him do what he wants without appearing unnatural. Though he is obviously male, his face has a rather soft, feminine look to it. Personality:curious, adventurous, cocky, thinks he is ready to take on the world, likes to test (and overstep) boundaries placed on him, a bit naive, too trusting for his own good sometimes Shin's: Blue Ribboned PupType: Canine Size:Medium-small Appearance:This little guy is just that: little. The runt of the litter, this guy is significantly smaller than any of his siblings. But that doesn't matter, because he'll be big and strong one day, won't he? Not really, he will remain on the small side all of his life, and no amount of food will get rid of the thin, lanky look he has. To make him look even more malnourished, he has incredibly long legs for his size. Personality:angsty, broody, feels under appreciated, hateful, nervous, unsure of himself, impuslive, selfish

When the puppy was safely in Aela's arms she the girl gently stroked the puppy, "Now aren't you the handsome one?" Then delight flashed across Aela's face, "Oh I know! How about I name you Spots for the spots on your fur?" Aela cuddled the puppy in her arms and the shaking slowly subsided. The puppy was still nervous, but something about the girl holding him calmed him down. Aela planted a soft kiss on the puppy's head and walked away. So it seemed that this one was the runt? The look that passed on the face of the man giving them out had been one she hadn't expected.
Despite the puppy being small, Aela would make sure he was well fed and happy. Spots made a whining noise and suddenly Talath's voice entered her head. Another rareity from the Obsidian. He needs to relieve himself. Aela took the puppy to the side and let him do his business. "Spots I am going to have my Firelizard appear so I hope you won't get upset."
Another rareity from Talath. Have Crest arrive from a distance so he doesn't scare Spots. Well that was good reasoning. Aela thought to the Blue who appeared near the puppy stall and flew over to Aela. "And of course your mouth is full of food." Aela shook her head and indicated to Spots, "Meat Spots. Our new companion." In Crest's paws were some meatrolls. Crest tilted his head one way and then another. Then he did something that he had never done with Talath. The Blue Firelizard drifted downwards and gave Spots the rest of his meatrolls. "Well," Aela said as Spots snapped up the offering, "It seems you two will have no trouble getting along."

It wasn't long after that that someone came to claim the final puppy, and that someone just happened to be his own roommate! A small blessing of sorts, Korvin decided, as he'd be able to make that that pup, at least, would be raised properly for at least a short while. "Thanks," He spoke loudly, trying to be heard over the crowd that had gathered. "Ya can take 'im." He scooped the final pup out of the box, feeling a bit sad that they all had been taken, Gray was sad too, but the knowledge that the pup would be staying in the same room for a while was a good thought for both Korvin and the dog. He held the Yellow Ribboned male out for Zaekrin to take. The pup in question stayed still in his grasp, merely eyeing the collected group as he hung there. Yes... the view from up here was much better than down there. One day he would be the one looking down on all of them, basking in the sounds of their submission. His tail wagged mischieviously as he waited to be taken. He had waited this long, he could wait a little more. Just wait a little more until he could finally beat his adventurous brother and prove he was the better of the two. Soon... soon... his time would come.
Zara! The Yellow Ribboned MaleType: Canine Size: Medium-Small Appearance:This pup is on the smaller side of the size spectrum, being not much larger than the runt. Even as a pup he has a natural sleekness to his build. A born elegance is protrayed with every movement, almost suave. However, despite his somewhat attractive appearance, he does appear to be rather weak, but he's okay with that. After all, he has the brains to make up for it! His movements often have a lazy, almost gliding look to them. Personality:highly intelligent and charismatic, narcisist, a bit vicious (more in the plotting, secretive kind of way), Cowardly unless he knows he will be the victor, doesn't like to be dominated
