He never did get a chance to speak... but when he did... she felt the smile warm and take over her features. "I think Thor can more than handle anything that they try to throw our way." She rested against him then, gently placing her head against his shoulder. "I think I'm a fool, Vl'kan..." she said softly, shaking her head slightly. She could feel Izanycorth had woken up during her tirade and was worried. "Oh... Izanycorth... It's alright," she said softly aloud. Izanycorth crooned from where she was and Iirla laughed, looking up at Vl'kan again. "Will you kiss me, Vl'kan...?" she asked softly. She just wanted him to be the one to kiss her this time.
She wanted to feel his lips against hers. She wanted to feel that he loved her... Now. Would he fight for her...? "I guess... I need to tell D'rian, don't I?" she said, feeling nerves well up inside. She had gone from a bronze rider to a bronze rider... to this garnet rider. To her garnet rider. Yes... That was what she had jus thought. He was her garnet rider. She grinned and wrapped her arms around him, shivering slightly as the breeze pulled at her wet clothing. He was warm and dry, but that wasn't why she was clinging to him.
Ama and Trivol landed on a nearby rock while Praesent trilled happily and landed on Iirla's shoulder. "It looks like they approve..." she said, laughing softly.
The moon was still high and it was beautiful, its light glancing off of the water and that which was around them. It was beautiful. It was a beautiful night... and a beautiful night for a walk on the beach.
