She grinned. "It's just... it'd be amazing to Impress... you know...?" She couldn't help the laugh that bubbled out of her as he said he didn't knwo he had lines. "Everyone does. Here, if you feel my face... I have them too." She followed his shoulders down to his hands and pulled his hands up to her face.
She gave him a warm smile, as she still held his hands gently to her face. Her skin was smooth and soft as if her gentleness had affected the way her skin felt from the time she was young.
Tizzy gave a little chitter and rubbed against Rayas as if he were Hers as well and curled around his neck easily. She sent warm feelings and tried to convey the idea that it was because he liked her sand hers liked him that she liekd him.

Rayas shrugged and nodded his head. I guess you’re right, it would be amazing to Impress. And what are you talking about? You have very smooth skin. He blushed a little when he felt her hands running down his shoulders to his hands, and then when she took them and placed them on her face. He had never had a girl take his hands and put them on her face before, and he wasn’t sure he would ever get used to that either. He couldn’t help but smile softly when he saw the warm smile that was on Xaemia’s face.
Rayas chuckled when Tizzy chittered and rubbed against his cheek. He had never had a firelizard do anything like that before, and wondered just exactly what she was thinking when she wrapped herself around his neck. You really are a sweetie aren’t you? His voice was soft as he spoke to the small female, and gently started to rub her tail. He liked the little female, and wondered if after this hatching, he could find one for himself. Maybe then he wouldn’t feel so alone most of the time, and like Xaemia and her firelizards, maybe they could be a family.

She laughed slightly. "Oh they aren't noticeable! but everyone has them around their mouth and ice and between their eyebrows... I guess I can feel them well. More than others anyways... But as you get older, they become more pronounced." She smiled at him, still holding his hands up to her face. She let go of him after a minute and smiled, turning for some sweetsands to start washing and not finding it at first, but as she took a step... she slipped and fell into the water, coming up sputtering before laughing at her own dilemma, though Tizzy shot up worriedly, chittering, and Stayn was immediately right there with ehr, rubbing against her lovingly and looking at her as if she should be more careful, cheeping and sending feelings. "Oh... I'm okay.... I'm okay..." she said, coughing again.
"How embarrassing..." she said, blushing again and then coughing up more water. She had her hands clasped in front of her and she was looking down, though she didn't truly "see" so it wouldn't seem to matter, it was just habit what with feeling the embarrassment, which showed plainly on her face.

Rayas tilted his head to the side a little as she explained about the lines. He nodded his head slowly as he thought about what she had said. I guess so, my dad didn’t seem to have that many lines though. His voice dropped, and became hard as he spoke about the man that had been the reason for so much trouble. He still couldn’t bring himself to hate his father, but he could no longer truly love the man either. He mentally shook himself, he shouldn’t be thinking of such things in the first place, especially since he was making more new friends.
Rayas smiled gently, and watched as she tried to grab something that was outside of the baths. His eyes widened, and he jumped a little when she slipped and went under the water. Are you sure you’re ok? He felt like he should reach out and put a hand on her shoulder just to make sure she didn’t fall again, but he felt awkward already, and knew that doing that would only make it worse. What is embarrassing? Slipping? You’re in the baths, it was bound to happen eventually. He himself had tripped many times in the baths, so he knew how she felt.

"Falling is embarrassing," she said, blushing. "Rayas... if your dad makes you upset... then try not to think about him, okay...?" She coughed again a bit more softly, then reached out, looking for his hand with hers. When she did find it (with a little help from Tizzy who showed her where it was) and gently lifted it up to her lips, opening his palm and gently kissing him there. "People care about you. I just met you and I think of you as a friend already, Rayas. Things will get better... I know they will." She smiled warmly at him. Then closed his hand over where she had kissed it. "Just so you know someone here cares about you always. Keep that safe." She grinned rather childishly at him.

Rayas looked away when Xaemia spoke about his father. It was hard not to think about the man that he had tried to make so proud for so very long. He looked down when she took his hand in hers. His eyebrows rose in confusion, and wonder when she kissed his hands. He could feel himself redden once again, and wondered what on Pern was going on with himself today. Alright, I will. His voice was light, and there was a small smile hidden inside of his words. He chuckled at her childish grin, and shook his head.
Rayas had never met anyone quite like her before, and he wasn’t sure he ever would again either. She really was a one of a kind girl, and there was something about her that just made him feel so relaxed. He smiled once again at her, and wondered what she would think if she could really see him. He shook his head in an attempt to rid himself of those thoughts. He had to pay attention to what was going on around him in the here and now, and what was happening around him now was that he was having a strange conversation with a really pleasant woman.
