Iirla was unaware of S’bel’s eyes coming back to her again and again. She looked down below them again as they started spiraling. She would have to get used to that because, even in that low slow spiral, she felt a bit dizzy. She wrapped her arms around him again for a moment, squinting her eyes as she attempted to look back at Izanycorth and watch her instead, one arm still wrapped around S’bel, though she hardly thought anything of it.
And then they were on the ground and she released her grasp on him, watching Izanycorth worriedly as she tried to spiral down to the grasslands below. She wobbled slightly as she moved to land.
Iirla took his hand, sliding down and stumbling slightly, attempting not to fall or fall into him. She turned her eyes back to Izanycorth as she came close. It didn’t look like it was going to be a good landing. Not at all. Oh… Please don’t let her get hurt… “Come on Izy… you can do it…” she breathed, just a soft whisper. She could feel her fingernails digging into her palms.
Izanycorth’s eyes swirled red. She was determined to get this. She had to… But she was scared. Oh gosh… the ground was coming up so fast! But she had to try. She had to try the best she could!
Iirlamine! that was all she said. She seemed to focus further, though it would be that she landed rather hard on the ground here.

Again, her arms around him made his heart thump unnecessarily. He shook his head, and focused on something else until they landed and she released her grip on him. Both of them watched Izanycorth as she wobbled a bit as she went to land.
S'bel, intent on watching the Gold, was a bit startled when Iirla took his hand, but he steadied her unconciously so she didn't fall. His eyes, however, remained trained on the little Queen, while his hands held Iirla's shoulders, partly to hold her back (the dragon had to do this on her own), partly for the girl's comfort, and partly for his own gain.
He heard Iirla whisper, but stayed silent. It wasn't his place to interfere, despite his hands on Iirla's shoulders.
The Gold's eyes swirled red, and she was unsteady. S'bel knew she would not land, and if she did, it would certainly not be pleasant. "Maerath!" He cried.
The bronze, however, was already in the air, his powerful wings propelling him quickly to the struggling Queen, where he maneuvered in a way so that he could help her land, which he did. Both dragons hit the ground a bit harder than usual, but Maerath took the brunt of the impact, cushoning Izanycorth's landing.
Do not worry, IzanycorthQueen. Landing is always the hardest part. You will learn.

Iirla hadn't even realized that she had been holding her breath until Izanycorth was safe on the ground. She had one hand on S'bel's on her shoulders as she stood their wide eyed.
Thank you Maerath... maybe you can show me how to do it again later...? Her tone was hopeful as she picked herself up and shook herself. Thank you again... her tone was soft and hopeful as well.
Iirla looked up to S'bel and gave him a somewhat weary smile. She was very glad he was there right now. Without him... Izzy could have gotten very very hurt... Izanycorth crooned to hers, knowingshe was worried.
I'm alright Mine. We need to explore like we were going to!
Iirla smiled at her, but then she was distracted by Ama and Trivol as they appeared above her head, flying around her and S'bel, chittering with excitement and irritation. Oh... how the always wanted to have all the attention. They wanted to be acknowledge and loved. Iirla frowned. "Alright you two, that's enough!" She sighed, though it slowly turned to a smile as Izanycorth seemed to snap her authority over them.
Yeah... she was okay... She was most definitely okay.
((Sorry... still short... x.x))

S'bel smiled, patting Iirla on the shoulder. "Breathe, Junior Weyrwoman. Your dragon's fine." He chuckled, but his own heart was pounding. If Maerath hadn't caught her... he shook his head, which he seemed to be doing a lot. He could "if" hismelf to death, and he'd prefer to live a bit longer first.
Maerath rumbled deep in his throat. Of course, Izanycorth. You will learn to land today! Extending his neck to the sky, he roared loudly, simply for the pleasure of it. The Queen's tone was soft and timid, but Maerath was happy to just be out. He and S'bel had spent so much time out of the Weyr lately he didn't even feel comfortable around it any more.
Leaping back into the sky, Maerath corkscrewed deftly before executing a backwards loop and spiraling around the others in the air, his powerful wings allowing him to stay just above them.
S'bel turned his eyes to Iirla, who smiled right as two fire lizards popped in from between, followed by a third, S'bel's own brown flitter. Iirla's two seemed to be overexcited, and chittered until Iirla shushed them. S'bel's brown, however, simply glided to the rider's shoulder, wrapped his tail around S'bel's neck, and crooned.
"I really should have named him Lazy, but as much as he eats I called him Munch," S'bel said with a short shrug that nearly dislodged the fire lizard. He laughed, and motioned toward the grasslands. "Let Maerath tire himself out while we explore, shall we?"

Izanycorth almost seemed to giggle if a dragon could giggle. I certainly hope so Maerath! She watched him, circling as he flew around them and performed tricks. He was an Impressive bronze. Powerful… strong… She crooned softly. Don’t show off too much… then what will you show me when I fly…? She teased him flirtatiously.
Iirla was shocked at Izanycorth’s words. “Iz…!” she did her best not to let her exclamation be heard. Oh bother… Izanycorth chuckled draconically. Oh Mine… I am just kidding LaMine.
No you’re not. That was all she said to her dragoness.
She grinned and chuckled. “Well… liking to eat or be lazy or whatnot… Ama has decided she wants him to give her his attention right now.” She was now sitting on Ama’s shoulder posturing and chittering and flaring herwings, trying to gain the brown’s attention. She was so determined to get herself noticed by the male.
Trivol wrapped his body around Iirla’s neck possessively. It pleased him to hang onto her. It please him to have her attention… which he didn’t… so his hold tightened a bit more. “Trivol.” She said, sounding even a big chocked as she gently pulled the flitter’s tail, causing him to sit up with a hiss. “You know better!” She lightly tapped him on the maw, which only made him ore upset and she sighed. But today… Ama wasn’t having it. And neither was Iz. Both seemed to snap at him at the same time.
She turned her attention back to S’bel with a small smile. “Alright. Sounds like fun!” She grinned. “Are you coming Iz?” Izanycorth seemed to think about this. She wanted to watch Maerath and learn.
