Gedaro yawned, making sure he covered his mouth in a polite manner. He had watched the first few candidates Impress, and he wondered if he'll join them. Then the next egg hatched, a brown. He watched as the hatchling walked straight for the males and surprisingly, stopped in front of HIM! Then he heard a voice soft and comforting, telling him: Yes,there you are G'daroMine. I knew you'd be the one from the moment we first met. Yes, I knew you were there even though you didn't know who I was. Come now, your Banemith is hungry.
He could not believe it. He had Impressed! He wrapped his big arms around the hatchling's neck and stroked his eyebrows. I am here my Banemith, he told him, as tears of joy streamed down his eyes I'm all yours. He got up and he went to get a bucket of meat to feed his new dragon. As he took the bucket, he thought of his little sister and the caravan he had left behind. Sister, I did it! he thought I Impressed!
He set the bucket down onto the sands and took out a handful of meat to feed his new friend. As he fed Banemith, G'daro thought of all the adventures they would have together. He could not wait for the bright future ahead.

Demetri watched the eggs carefully, and even noticed the golden egg start to hatch. He chuckled when the large egg decided it wasn't yet time to show herself to the world. He shook his head, and turned his attention to the remaining eggs. His eyes widened when he saw an amethyst hatch out of the White Jade Egg. That was definitely not something he was expecting to see out of the small, greenish looking egg. He had been expecting a green, but you can never really tell what something will be until it hatches.
Demetri gazed at the purple hatchling with confusion written on his face. He didn't understand why she was trying to force the Crystal Skies Egg to hatch. He stared in surprise when he saw a brown and a blue hatch all at the same time. He smiled at both of them, silently praying that one of them would be for him. He watched the two males carefully, and even glanced over at the purple female a couple of times. He wondered who the female would choose.
Demetri slowly let out a breath as he watched the two males, a breath he hadn't even realized that he had been holding. He felt a little disappointed when the blue passed him by, but kept himself from feeling sorry about the fact he hadn't impressed yet. When he finally turned his attention back to the brown, he had already impressed to someone else. He sighed, and shook his head. He turned his attention back to the eggs, and started biting his lip. He was starting to feel like none of these eggs would be for him.

Iirla watched as an Amethyst dragonet hatched. She was a beautiful creature just as all the dragons thus far had been. It wasn't long before she decided it was time for her brother to hatch... And ended up helping more than just one of her brother's into the world. Both of whom seemed displeased with the other. She wondered what would happen next. And if their mother would tolerate it if they were not to get along... But she didn't have to find out as the blue backed down and headed towards the Candidates. Then he headed back to the female Candidates. She watched him as he attempted to flirt with his sister and almost grinned as the Amethyst ignored him. He was there then, nudging her. She smiled, but he soon moved on. She didn't know whether to feel relieved or dissapointed, however, but if he wasn't for her, then it was for the better. It ws then that her attention jumped to the Queen egg, her breath baited as it rocked and cracked... And stopped. It wasn't her time yet. She wondered just how this beautiful Queen was going to look... What markings she would have. She already knew she would be beautiful. She was standing for a hatching in which there was a gold egg... She thought about that for a long moment. It was an honor, no matter who the Queen Impressed to. Whether she was left standing or not or what ever came. She was here. She stood still, then, her eyes still locked to hte Queen egg before slowly wandering to the others. It seemed the Queen did not wish to steal the show entirely from her clutch siblings. It was something quite commendable about her. Or, so that is what Iirla thought it might be. Not that, she admitted, she really knew what was going through the young gold's mind. She turned her eyes back to the hatchlings on the sands, watching the Amethyst as she walked. These new colors were beautiful... But they could be both a good or bad omen. How would they and their new riders affect Pern? ---------- Raevin watched the Brown pass him by and felt a faint sense of irritation. He was already twenty turns at this point and only just searched. He didn't want to age out before he Impressed. There had to be a dragonet for him there... or in another clutch soon to be. He took a deep breath and shook his head, keeping his cool even as he felt the stress at his core. This should be a joyous occasion, not one that brought his temper to rise. Although he had little interest in the Queen as a Candidate for her, he couldn't help but look as her egg shook. Hmm... She was biding her time, it would seem. His eyes wandered back to the eggs. Would there be another Brown? A Bronze? A Garnet... Or maybe the Opal? He rather not have a female dragon... But could he be happy with one? The thoughts were quickly shoved from his head. He just had to wait. ((Sorry... 'nother fail post. Homework does this to me majorly. >.<))

Fallon watched eagerly, his interest renewed, as a brown and blue spilled out onto the sands. The amethyst he looked over once but only because of the shock factor at seeing a purple dragon. In the end though his green eyes settled on the egg-wet brown and blue, smirking at the small standoff the two seemed to be having. The blue caved first, snorting and submitting to his larger brother before stalking off. The thief shook his head and crossed his arms against his chest, slightly disappointed in how easily the blue hatchling had given in.
They came and went though and within a matter of mere moments the two males had chosen Theirs. Fallon scowled as yet another blue hadn’t even inspected the males, instead finding His in one of the females. This was quite the show wasn’t it? Male dragons sauntering over to Impress to females? It not that it was unheard of but Trelis wasn’t known for its normality. Fallon turned to the stands and eyed the bustling crowd. If he looked hard enough he could spot those faces familiar to him. His brother, mother, and Rider cousin were all in the mix but who he was really searching for was his son. Knowing his luck though the boys bastard grandparents would have refused to bring him to the Hatching if they knew his father was going to be standing.
His mood grew fouler at the very thought as he turned his attention back to the remaining eggs and narrowed his eyes at the odd colored beasts that still walked the sands. He kept his focus on the Crimson Stain egg, remembering the response he had received when he had touched its shell. Surely there had to be something fantastic rocking within its prison but when would it, and the rest of its siblings, choose to grace them with its presence?
_____________________
Thormyth hissed as he paced back and forth behind His all the while his permanent red tinted gaze remained locked on the trembling eggs. Where was this crowd, THIS attention, on HIS hatching day? He snorted as the crowd whooped and cheered on the little hatchlings. They weren't nearly as fantastic as he was. Another huff and his eyes darted to the crowd. If he had been any closer someone might have suffered his wrath. Unfortunately they were off to the side, with the rest of his siblings from Ista, possibly for just that reason.
Vl'kan suppressed a yawn and scratched the back of his neck, doing his best to ignore the antics of his fiery companion. The past few days had been exhausting for the young Lord as Thor demanded nearly all of his attention but they had finally made it to Trelis and he had been able to catch up with his Aunt and cousins and now had the opportunity to witness his cousin Stand for a Hatching. Before he could continue to guess at what kind of dragon Fallon would Impress, Vl’kan felt a sharp stinging sensation explode in his left calf. Thormyth had quite easily picked up His’ thoughts and retaliated with a swift snap of his tail to the lower half of Vl’kan’s leg.
Vl’kan hissed and glared at the young Garnet as he rubbed the stinging sensation from his flesh. Let them cheer for those fools below, Vl’kanMine. This Weyr and these dragons cannot ignore us for long. The young dragonet roared his frustration and snapped his head to look from the people in the stands to those down in front of the rocking clutch. His tail still whipped behind him from time to time, coming dangerously close to swatting his fellow Istan clutchmates and their greenrider mentor who had followed them here as well.

About the same time the Gleaming Hope egg started to hatch, the Forever Yours egg beside it began to hatch as well. While the queen egg settled down after a while, though, the cracks on the other egg only grew larger, and soon a gleaming snout was poking out of the shell. The rest of the dragon soon followed as the hatchling revealed herself to be a topaz. A rather pretty one at that, as far as she was concerned, with dainty proportions for a topaz, if still a little on the bulky side when compared to her smaller siblings. The Forever Yours topaz climbed to her feet with a snort and left the remains of her shell behind her. She seemed in no hurry to Impress, instead attempting to clean the worst of the sand and egg-gunk from her hide, and then turned her attention towards her fellow hatchlings. She watched curiously as first the blue and the brown found their bonds, but she made no move just yet to do likewise. The opal had mostly ignored the hatching and subsequent Impressions of his siblings; he was still searching through the candidates for his own bond with no luck. He was beginning to get frustrated at his lack of success, but he hid it well, with only the occasional flick of his tail giving away his anxiety. He watched Blue Eulurth Impress one of the female candidates, and the opal tilted his head to one side, as though he'd never considered that he might be able to do the same. Paying no more attention to the male candidates, he instead turned his attention to the girls. He stared at one, then another, but quickly rejected them. But then he came to Kordelia, and ah! That was it! That was what he had been looking for. He crooned at her apologetically. Isanoth was looking for you in all the wrong places, KordeliaMine, the opal told her. We are together now, though. Come, let's get something to eat now, okay?Isanoth: 25 feet at full growth Egg: Pearly Dream egg Impressed to: Kordelia Personality: Introverted, thoughtful, optimistic, kind, gentle, enjoys helping others, obedient, subtle, intensely curious, eager to try new things. Body- ffffff Spots- 79d1cc Wings- cea7d8 Appearance: Short legs, but with a long neck and tail and average wings. White base with pale blue speckling, and pale purple on wings. Almost unnoticed among the crowd of other flashy dragonets, the Rose Red egg began to rock as well, and before long, a green dragon had slithered out of the shell. She shook herself off quickly, took one look at the candidates, and slinked off to hide behind one of the as-yet unhatched eggs. Those candidate-creatures were scary! Unfortunately, the egg she'd chosen as her hiding spot was the Crimson Stain egg, and it was rapidly cracking open itself. A bright red wing extended from a hole in the side, and the garnet's head soon followed, demolishing the rest of the shell as the hatchling climbed out. The garnet steadied itself, seeming to inspect his own ruby-bright hide and stripes of dark red coloring his front legs, before turning his attention to his shy green sister. His eyes whirled suddenly and he leaped at the green, bowling her over as she screeched, trying to get away. The garnet warbled a laugh--he was only playing, after all, and she hadn't even been scratched, but the green didn't seem to see things quite the same way. The green creeled and raced towards the candidates before she got into any more trouble. The candidates may be daunting, but they were nothing compared to her garnet brother. Naturally, she ignored the males, and it actually didn't take her long at all to find her rider once she started looking in earnest. One of the candidates closest to her was Petal, and it was she who the green turned to. I don't care if he said he was only playing, my brother's not very nice, she said with a snort. Oh, PetalMine. I am your Estorth. We'll be together forever, right? She curled her tail around Petal's leg as though to reassure herself. Estorth: 22 feet at full growth Egg: Rose Red Egg Impressed to: Petal Personality: Friendly, sweet, shy, gets crushes often, likes watching the clouds, easily confused Appearance: average build, long, angled wings. Middling green with pale splotches of color on her sides, pale wings. Base: #3b9a28 Wings and Marking 1: #a7f298 Marking 2: #85d674

It turns out the bite of jealousy that had so temporarily held Kordelia was unnecessary. So was the fact that as soon as the two Impressed, she turned her eyes back to the eggs.
Her glance wasn't there for long, because there was a dragon approaching the females near her: the opal, who had hatched earlier. She watched him carefully, considering, musing. She had already decided that she would judge each dragon by it's individual (was it even fair to say judge, when you were dealing with dragons?), and it seemed that she might get her chance. The opal was investigating the candidates beside her, and coming ever closer. Her heart beat faster, as the pale creature approached, and she felt it: that bite of hope that occurred whenever any dragonet stepped nearby.
She felt something else, too, and the part of her not immediately distracted by it was suddenly quite glad she hadn't decided to dislike all the new colors in the name of tradition.
Because what she felt was a flood of emotion, as soon as the opal looked into her eyes, and that curious binding of another living mind to hers. A mind similar to hers, and yet different- masculine, curious, gentle. She was mildly aware of the fact that a gigantic grin had crossed her face, and that ordinarily she'd avoid such displays of emotion-- but she'd just impressed, shard it, and she was entitled to a ----eating grin if she felt so inclined.
"Isanoth." she repeated, and then answered him with a nod. "Of course. That ought not be so hard to do, the food is right here-" she didn't want to look away for him even so long as to get her bearings, but she did, putting a hand on his neck as she did so. Soft, covered in eggwet and sand. The skin she touched twitched beneath her hand, and he looked up at her plaintively, adding, Ah, that itches. Do you think we could do something about that too?
Kordelia nodded, her smile touching her eyes. "Yes, of course. Let's come and get you fed, and while you eat, I'll brush some of this sand from your hide." With that, they started off together, Kord matching Isanoth's pace. There was no need to be brisk- the beginning of the hatching, so full of anxiety and worry, might've been something she wanted to rush through, but now that she had Isanoth, it wasn't so bad to take her time.

Dalrian watched the proceedings from his spot silently as hatchling after hatchling made their way into the world. He stood silent and contemplative not wanting annoyance to get the better of him. He was 21 turns and had waited for this his entire life. The new color didn't suprise him, he'd seen some of the others bonded before Maeleth's clutch in passing.
The little opal was taking it's time sizing everyone up, and the little amethyst had decided she didnt want her blue brother to hide out any longer. He grimaced as she rolled crystal skies around . Out of the entire clutch he didnt think that one was the safest to mess with before he'd been bonded. The little blue suprised him as he hatched though, bringing his brown brother with him. The tension wasnt between the female and the blue though, and he sighed at least knowing she hadn't gotten on his bad side. The hatching was going rather smoothly so far. He'd heard horror stories from his father about the violence and unrelentingness of new hatchlings.
The two young males seemed to be having a standoff and unluckily for the sleek and powerful-though-lanky blue, his brown brother was taller and more intimidating. To his suprise the blue backed off, showing the intelligence of most blues. Nothing was to be gained by standing up to his larger and stronger brother. He watched the blue study over the male candidates, himself included, but the male didnt find His among them.
The brown wandered down the line of male candidates as well, impressing to Gedaro. Another one down.
He smiled at the girl he'd come in with and offered her a wink as the blue studied her closely. If that one was interested in her then she MUST have been a firecracker. It didnt suprise him when the blue male showed the rainbows of impression in his eyes for her. Sending a thought out for good luck to her, he turned his attention to the eggs and two still wandering dragonets. He grinned with a shake of his head studying the young queen. She was either waiting until all attention would be on her, or she was being a little tease. Too bad queens almost never impressed to men. The little opal finally chose, as did a sweet little green that seemed more afraid of them than curious. The garnet that hatched, he believed had more to do with that than anything. He scared the little dragonet but it looked like he was only playing.
Forever yours emerged as a brilliant topaz, and he smiled. Oh the royals of the weyr.

Jillalene was suprised by the hatchlings. The opal spilled out of it's egg and she studied it carefully. It was cute, and meandered as if it had all the time in the world to find it's bondmate. Some dragons were more interested in candidates than others. The queen shook and continued to look at them through the hole in her egg before going quiet.
She watched the little amethyst with interest, but not suprise after the opal. new colors would add to the weyr surely. She gasped and almost left her spot , taking a step and forcing herself to stay put as the little amethyst started playing with her crystal skies egg.
That hatchling was the one she had waited to see. She didnt know if it was for her, but she didnt want ANYTHING to happen to it. She cringed as his egg rolled and crashed into the brooding silence egg, and they both promptly hatched, the blue was the most beautiful thing she'd ever beheld and though the brown was bigger, she was proud of the more lithe and lanky male. He stood his ground until his brother played the size card and well, He was a blue after all. Unlike some dragons they were a bit on the smarter side.
He didnt spend too much time on the boys and she held her breath as he nosed around Iirla. She would be happy, no matter who he chose. At least that's what she told herself. He stopped and looked for a moment like he was going to abandon his search amongst the girls and she bit her lip. As though by a miracle, her lovely male left that girl and came to her.
"Finally JillaleneMine! Were have you been?!? Don't you know your Eulurth was trying to find you? That brown sibling of mine is quite something else don't you think. Sickens me really, meh. We'll show him and my sister though. I chose you for a reason after all, so don't let me down."
She smiled with happy tears in her eyes as she heard her young one's voice. "The old ones would have been cross if I'd come to you while your brothers and sisters were still hatching Eulurthmine." she smoothed a hand over his snout clearing a way a bit of mess from the egg. "Your brother is big, but bigger isnt always better, love. We'll make them all see how wonderful you are... Hungry?"
The blue who'd wrapped himself around her's rainbow colored eyes snapped with new light and he nodded emphatically. "Food! I'm so hungry LeneMine, feed me?"
She smiled and led him over to where his already bonded siblings stood, a bit apart, and kissed the tip of his nose. "I'll be right back." She went to her candidate master and soon was back with a bucket of meat for her other half. ripping the larger chunks into smaller ones and smiling as he attacked it with vigor, making sure he didn't get a finger while he ate.
He snapped to attention and wrapped himself around Jillalene almost making her drop the bucket in suprise as his protective streak kicked in at the cry from the garnet above as well as the one breaking free of his egg. He would not allow anything to happen to His Jillalene.
She watched over his shoulder as the garnet hatchling caused a bit of commotion playing with his little green sister. Luckily playing was all it was, and she heard the roar of the garnet above, praying that thormynth would stay calm enough not to rage during the middle of the hatching and turn things into a horror fest.
She patted Eulurth reassuringly.
"I'm fine little love. Thank you for protecting me, but everything's okay... your brother's are just being vocal is all..."
After another minute or two of watching, his tail slapping from side to side violently, he eased up enough to take food from her hands again, not attacking with the zeal of before and keeping a careful eye on all goings on especially where the garnets were concerned. Giving off a menacing growl of warning to all close enough to hear him.

Demetri's eyes widened when he saw a topaz hatch from her egg. He had heard that the first topaz had impressed to a male, and he wondered who this one would choose as her own. You really are a beauty aren't you? He wasn't sure if the dragoness would hear his thoughts, but it didn't really matter. He smiled and turned his attention to see what the opal from earlier was up to. He clapped his hands when he saw the strange hatchling finally impress.
Demetri jumped a little when he heard something screech. He saw a garnet dragon on top of a green, and wondered what had happened. He head heard that the red dragons were mean, but he didn't think they would actually kill their siblings. He felt a sudden surge of relief when the green got away, and impressed. He shook his head, and silently prayed that the red male would stay very far away from. He wasn't sure what he would do if he impressed something that could be that mean.

Raevin's attention was immediately take by the Garnet. A devious creature. He wouldn't mind having one. As much as such a devious and temperamental Hatchling could be a handful... or even problematic. But he would be willing to brave it. He supposed he shouldn't be ignoring the Topaz, but it was difficult. Despite what she was, she wasn't something that interested him. He was sure that she probably did not like that at all. From anyone. Hmm... feisty little red dragon. ((Short... ^^'; Heh...)) ------ Iirla blinked in surprise. A topaz. Of course, that would make sense as it had been a large and favored egg... and decidedly had wanted attention for its own. But... It wasn't a Queen, but a Sub-Queen, thus it was not entitled to as much attention as the gold had been. It made sense in a way, but it may not be the most fair thing in the world. Especially for a dragonet who was, indeed, quite lovely in her own right. She could feel Ama's smug amusement at the back of her mind as well as her disdain for anything that earned admiration other than herself. She was more beautiful than any topaz or gold. She was a queen after all. The silly little sub-queen seemed to need some kind of assurance as she observed the hatching. What had been a baby flitter not long ago was turning quickly into a rather large and pushy full-grown flitter who would have to learn her place in time. Iirla turned her attention back to the eggs and dragonets at hand, watching each of the babies in turn and the eggs as well. Though she could not help but let her eyes wander to the gold egg if only because she wanted to see what it was like when a gold hatched.

The Gleaming Hope Egg had wanted to wait for the perfect time, but by no means was that after a Sub-Queen. That simply wouldn't do! The golden egg shook fiercely, the cracks widening until with a final shove, egg shards flew in every direction. Shaking her wings out, the little Queen crooned. So, where was that no good Topaz? Snapping her head in the orange dragonet's direction, the Gold hissed. How dare she! How dare she....wait... The Gold stopped mid hiss and looked at her body as her wings flapped beside her against the air. Were those..... greenish?!? Missing and snapping at herself, the Gold twisted around in a series of circles. No! Noooo!!!! NOOOOOOO!!!!! Crying out again and again in a tempertantrum that was anything but Queenly, the young Gold plopped down onto the sands in a sitting position. She wasn't perfect! The female dragonet hissed and raised her head high, well, who cared! It wasn't like they cared...right...right! Snapping at the nearest egg that jostled, she lashed her tail behind her. No! Jerking her tail around, the Gold inspected the egg covered appendage. That was not...bronze?!? Oh Faranth come on! She had bronze one her too! Not to mention that almost white sandy color that thought it could call itself Gold. Was any part of her actually Gold? Let alone metallic like her mother? ...like her Topaz sister? Wheeling around to hiss and snap at the Topaz, the young Gold snorted. She did this! She made it to where she wasn't perfect! She did this! She was supposed to be perfect. She was supposed to be wonderful, and curious, and proud. Wait! She was those things. It didn't matter that she didn't look like the average Gold! ...well, it mattered to her, bit surely no one else would care. Coming to this conclusion, the Gold crooned and prances around the orange hatchling that called herself a Sub-Queen. Ha! Of course, that's when she had to trip over her own feet and fall to the sand. Scrambling back up quickly, the Gold shook herself. Nobody saw it! She hissed to the hatchlings around her, whining when a bronze crooned and shook his head. ....bronze? When did a bronze get here!?! The Queen crooned, drooping her wings and shifting around to look at the remaining eggs. Nope, no, nada! Ah! Crooning, the Queen trotted over to the young King, so he was from the Blue Sea Egg. That made sense. The bronze nuzzled his Golden sibling, baring his fangs at the Garnet in case the hatchling got any ideas. He'd protect his Queen after all to the death. Warbling laughter came from the Gold he had wound himself around. She didn't need protecting, she was fine on her own! Taken aback, the bronze snorted and flicked his wings. Well, if he wasn't needed here, he'd go to His then. He'd both hatched and found the boy when everyone was so focused on his Queen. Marching over to the boys, the bronze stopped and stood in front of one, a regal toss of his head the only greeting the candidate got. Then, the bronze finally spoke after meeting his rider's eyes. Come D'rianMine. Kelath is hungry, and we must leave the sands. Unless you want to stay here and watch my sisters go at it some more? Woth that the bronze started strolling over to where the food was. Bronze Kelath Colors: Body- cc8128 Underside- cd8939 Highlights- f59b30 Head/Tail- 583303 Size: 40 feet Personality: Calm, easy-going, cool temperament, solitary, protective, fierce when angered Appearance: bulky body, short limbs, muscular build. Orangish bronze body with dark bronze cap on top on head and on the tail. Lighter feet.

Dal watched amazed as the new Queen hatched. She certainly didn't look like your average queen. Not metallic or what most thought of as traditional gold. it was almost like seeing gold through a hazy film. She was nevertheless beautiful even if she was a bit unconventional. He watched as she checked herself out and felt a bit of a twinge of sadness realizing she was measuring herself. She didn't seem to be happy with what she found.
So what if the new Queen wasnt exactly what everyone had come to expect. She was still a queen, and given that a garnet, opal and amethyst had already hatched, she wasnt really alllllll that much of a suprise. She seemed to have zero'd in on the lovely topaz. He watched closely as the queen made it clear that she felt her 'shortcomings ' were all her sister's fault. Then sudden movement caught his attention. Another egg hatched while the drama of the queen's unusual birth had held his and almost everyone else's attention.
His eyes danced as the Bronze came into view. Muscular and bulky he caught the queen's attention immediately and she trotted to him, bringing her dangerously close to the still unknown garnet. Those little ones were dangerous at the best of times if Thormynth was anything to judge by, and he nodded in approval as the bronze slipped himself between his sister and brother baring his fangs at the smaller red dragonet as a warning. He was definitely a bronze, no doubt about it.
The queen apparently decided she didnt need his protection and it appeared to have offended the new king. His wings flicked in a slightly annoyed manner and he suprised Dal by stalking straight to the boys. No... straight to HIM. he stood there, feeling like the floor had been ripped from beneath him. He'd thought a brown would have been the best he could have hoped for, but the bronze met his eyes, the rainbows of impression dancing in his eyes and the world solidified again for him, emotions slamming into him through the new link.
The voice in his head was beautiful to him, a dark velvety tone with reagalness in every syllable. Kelath is hungry, and we must leave the sands. Unless you want to stay here and watch my sisters go at it some more?
With that his new bondmate simply wandered toward the food bucket bearing Candidate master and he had to remember how to work his legs again to catch up, settling a hand against his king's neck as he did.
"Yes my Kelath... Lets get you something to eat, then if you want we can watch your brothers and sisters to see who they choose...."
He reached the edge of the sands and went to go get the bucket while Kelath still kept a protective eye on the little queen. Barely paying attention to the others until His came back with his meal, taking it from His with more civility than his other brothers and sisters.

Iirla blinked in surprise as her attention was torn back to the Gold as she burst from her shell.... and started to throw a fit. She did her best not to laugh, looking at her with wide eyed surprise and a bit of.... Something. Perhaps it was disbelief. She frowned. She would need someone who could help her learn how to act like a Queen and just how beautiful she really is. She watched quietly as the Gold pranced around the Topaz and again as she took note of the Bronze who had made it to the sands not so long ago nearly unnoticed except, she was sure, by all the males. She watched as the Gold twined himself protectively around the gold. A knight in shining armor... one that the lovely creature didn't need. And he was taken aback. It made her smile slightly. Headstrong and independent. Seemed something ever so slightly familiar to her. But she couldn't quite put her finger on it. Maybe it was Ama. At the thought of the flitt, she could feel her puff up with pride and pleasure and Iirla frowned slightly and turned her attention back to the Queen and Sub-Queen who were on the sands, watching to see what they would do. The Topaz, at least at this point, did not seem overly bothered by the gold's prancing as she would have thought, based on what little she kenw of topaz dragonesses, she would have been quite irritated and gone at it with the Gold.. but then again... didn't all dragon's have a certain respect for a Queen? Or was she mistaken? It was soemthing she would look into some more as it was something she should know. She studied the gold quietly. Hmm... She was different. But different could very often be good. She wondered what Maeleth was thinking of all this. The gold's queen mother. She had her hands clasped in front of her as she watched, feeling a sort of tension in her chest as she watched them. She rather hoped that things would not become ugly between the two... but if there current relationship was anything to judge by, any chance of an entirely peaceful relationship as they both grew up together was most likely not possible. Not unless their rider's could reign them in. ------ Raevin's eyes snapped from the Queen to the Bronze in a moment. The Queen was interesting, yes, but the bronze was more his flavor, so to speak... But it was not long before he had Impressed to another boy. Well. That was all well and good. It was stil lthe Garnet who held his attention the most at this point. He watched him as he stalked across the sands. He ignored the Amethyst all together. ((Heh... Raevin posts are uncharacteristically short tonight... Possibly because he has his own interests at hte moment. >.< Heh.))
